Hey all! I'm Heartweaver, aka Al, and my pronouns are he/him. I'm the founder and currently the only member of Marrow Melody Press, a small press created with the intent of sharing knowledge and having fun by creating zines and of preserving future history by keeping a small archive. I wanted to have a name to put my zine making and archiving under so I made this press. It's recently created so things aren't pretty yet but I intend to fill out the space well.

I named this press after a metaphor I used in one of my poems: that the things I really love "turn my bones to tuning forks" and I choose my title of Heartweaver to call to mind a metaphor of the personality being a woven cushion around your heart, like the nests made and lived in by a bower bird: formed of the things we see and like enough to make part of ourselves.
