Chimi sits by the water, she misses Maya. The young queen gone from war, leaving Chimi widowed. So, Chimi sits here at the edge of the pond, as the sun sets.

"Buenos tardes," A voice says then, "Or, is it Buenos noches now?"

"Zatz," Chimi says softly without turning, "You're early."

"Maya still dosen’t have her memories." Zatz says softly to his platonic life partner.

Chimi sighs, finally looking to the man who she shares Maya with. It had been a long discussion, but the small poluly cule works just fine for them, and Chimi gets to date Rico.

It's enough for them, makes them all happy.

Maya and the three week 2022, Day one.

Prompt: rebirth

Pairing: Maya/Zatz

Zatz thought the sun was the best way for Maya to start her new life. She was stunning and bright and fired, yes... the sun fits her well.

Zatz enjoys being the moon, watching Maya in the sky, reflecting her brilliance.

Maya adores watching Zatz dance across the sky, among the stars as he was when they first met.

Sometimes she feels guilt over the Acact incident, but that was already dysfunctional and she's happier here.

The death had been painful, and they barley won. But they were victorious.

The temple that Zatz and Maya share when they aren't rising and setting the celestial bodies is home.

The first night there is spent in eachothers ares, shaking and thankful for the rebirth they've been given.

Life may not be simple, but te afterlife is. The two half gods are able to find peace in their new jobs.

And it's enough.
