12. Our muses trapped in a burning building.

Johnny wanted to die. Wanted all the torment to finally be lifted off him, allowing him to move on. He had a thing for a dramatic flair, maybe liked the idea of a history repeating itself a little too much. Maybe he was crazy. Borderline psychotic like everyone else has been labelling him for his past. It was all too simple really. A bit of gasoline and a box of matches and a lighter just in case it was needed. He made sure no one was around, that no one knew about him spilling the gasoline everywhere in his apartment, the smell stinging his nose and poisoning his lungs slowly. That he was dragging himself in his living room, eyes dead and shaking the box of matches in his hand as he took in his masterpiece for a moment. He smiled sleepily, taking a match out and lighting it up, watching a little flame dance in front of his eyes. Sighing, he flicked it across the farthest room, almost in awe at how quick it began to set the room alight, that one little flame now a heated monster so near to him, growing and growing. He planned it so that no one was around, no one knew. But his name being yelled and echoing took him out of his trance, head turning towards the source to see a figure running towards him. “Jimin.” he breathed, eyes widening at the panicked look on the male’s face and the tight grip he had on Johnny’s arm trying to tug him away. He was screaming something at him yet it fell on deaf ears. Johnny couldn’t understand him, not with the roaring of the monster just a few meters away from touching them, licking at their skin, killing them. “Jimin-no you shouldn’t be here!” he hissed, hearing something collapsing from the other side of the room, roof cracking above them, ready to fall. “Jimin get out–” he managed to say between violent coughs, lungs filled with smoke that swirled around them. Jimin wasn’t a part of the plan. “L-leave me-fucking leave me- get out!”
