Asmoday!Diluc timeline scenario where when he was a kid he shared his secrets with Kaeya, yes even like the story books and paintings, which Diluc when he was younger sees more innocently while Kaeya probably had a sneaking suspicion these hid more than meets the eye. So Kaeya's secret reveal?? EXTRA PAINFUL. bc Diluc shared his secrets with Kaeya!!! He bared himself clean and open to him and it turns out he didnt know anything about Kaeya at all!!! Diluc thought they trusted EACHOTHER. I saw that one ask thats like "What if Kaeya said he was glad Crepus is dead." and Tbh in the Asmoday!Diluc Au hes also glad Crepus is dead, guilty abt his relief but relieved nonetheless. but Kaeya saying it?? when in Asmoday!Diluc's eyes he was the more favored child??? To him, it sounds like Kaeya didn't care about Crepus and by extension: Never cared about Diluc. And the moment Kaeya receives his vision in the middle of this onesided fight... Asmoday!Diluc is just more betrayed, bc in his eyes, Kaeya was recognized for his betrayal of Diluc's trust. Which tbh, to Asmoday!Diluc he doesnt put it above Celestia to be petty as shit. Just UAGHHHHHHG Angst time babey.

I also imagine that during the fight, Diluc just starts losing a grip on his appearance and his red hair and eyes revert back to white and blue. Like no cascading between coloes either its like, stuck at white and Blue bc the emotion of betrayal qnd sadness is so overwhelming he cant express himself any other way... But also bc hes metaphorically baring his heart to Kaeya again for the last time bc at this point hes been supressing his appearance for so goddamn long.... and also supressing his divinity for too long too. So like he has a small moment of outburst that showcases his abilities inherited from Asmoday, like the cubes for a bit and one of hi eyes gets overwhelmed by the yellow and basically, accidental reveal and its part of the reason Asmoday!Diluc runs away.

Ptosis is when the upper eyelid droops over the eye. The eyelid may droop just a little, or so much that it covers the pupil (the black dot at the center of your eye that lets light in). Ptosis can limit or even completely block normal vision. Children and adults can have ptosis.

A random thought just hit me. What if Diluc has Ptosis?

Also, just my opinion, I think it's weird that people try to redesign Diluc to look more 'normal'. Leave my baby girl alone, there is nothing wrong with him.

Honestly I love people putting their own twists on to Diluc's design. It's sweet.

I don't mind fix-it toooooo much because I do understand his model is getting a little old at this point and doesn't really fit as much anymore. So in someways I get it, but I much rather you personalize your Diluc. Isn't that much more fun?

Back with my another cringe Danganronpa ask, but I'll try to make it less cringe.

It doesn't involve with the DR chars, but more to the detective gang. If you have an idea of how the killing game works in the series, my question is a what-if scenario about the detective gang (the main four). And let's use the SDRA 2 world excuse [Don't continue reading for those who don't want to be spoiled]

They're trapped in a virtual simulation world, and its setting make them can't use their visions. Since it's only their consciousness in the world after all, and they can't summon their weapons. However, they can rely on their pure physical strength they have.

Since the gang are pretty smart, especially with having Heizou in the group, they'll survive the class trial no problem. And here comes my question. I personally think they're also powerful physically, but they're not invincible. They'll definitely will get hurt at some point, and I think there is a small chance that someone can kill one of them. Because I personally believe there will always be someone who can outsmart them. Who do you think who is most likely to get killed and least likely to get killed? Or do you think they can all survive together? And how do you think they'll grief if one of them dies?

I personally kind of leaning to Heizou being the main target since he's a detective and making him as the more threat to the killer in the class trial, but it won't be an easy task to take him down. Yanfei is also a good target, but she knows on how to be cautious and make herself save from potentially getting killed if the killer underestimated her.

Anyway, I just think it's really funny how I'm not a Danganronpa person yet it sound how found me. But to get to your question.

If anyone is gonna get hurt, it's gonna be Diluc. Because he's one of the strongest, so he's prefer to take character then and either cut a path or trip anything, so the other can pass safely. Generally, I think they could all survive. But TBH if someone is going down Diluc will force himself to go first like NOPE you all got to live Because you're my friends and I care about you.

I don't really know enough to say if more would die then that, but I feel that just it would be a last hurdle thing if one was to die.

But they would grieve a lot. Honestly... Probably look into resurrection. Well, at Least Yanfei. Cyno I think would be worried about the rules. And Heizou would be on the fence.

What do you think of Kaeya's new skin, the Sailwind Shadow outfit?

I don't know why, but I don't like it as much as diluc's. It feels like there's something missing about the outfit or maybe I just don't like the outfit on kaeya? It's not ugly but I prefer Kaeya's default outfit.

If you were to rank all the skins, which ones would be high up?

So here is my ranking.

Diluc is the best because it suits him really well, It definitely feels like a younger, more upset Diluc. The bird motif is strong here, and I like the feather like coattails. I was actually pretty terrified that the outfit was going to be white for a bit because of some fan far. I am Diluc biased, but it's still a good skin.

Klee is my second favorite because like Diluc's skin it does something with her character, making her and cute little witch! The only issue is not here, backpack animation doesn't really work anymore. But I don't really care.

Next Is, I really like Ayaka's because I think a sort of cute traveling look suits her more than her original outfit.

Lisa I also like for reason similar to Diluc and Klee. But I don't think it's as good.

Shenhe is an A probably because I am totally biased and Love Shenhe because while pretty here skin isn't too much to talk about. Her hair is where it is at though.

Fischl often feels more like a redesign than a separate skin, tbh. Like this feels more like she is a princess here and definitely more like she belongs in Mondstadt and not 3rd impact. But ya know it's a good skin, still above the average.

So pretty much the whole of the B tier for me is like Nice looking outfits. But nothing really much to say about them.

Not to the meat. Kaeya's skin. It's not bad imo none of the outfits are bad. Some are definitely not worth real fucking money. But Kaeya's skin feels like a costume, heavy and impractical in ways I'm not sure if I can explain. The only thing I like about it is his hair at least makes sense now.

I forgot to add him, but Xingqiu's outfit would go in C too. Because, well, I generally don't think Xingqiu isn't well-designed to start with imo.

Finally Keqing. Again I don't think her skin is bad. It's pretty actually. It's just I have a lot of biased toward Keqing. And the story for the outfit isn't nearly as interesting as the one for Shenhe and Ganyu's

Why do people write diluc to be this stupid character that has no common sense? They write him as this person that doesn't know what he's doing...

I Read this one fic where the fic goes like this, 'diluc realised his vigilante ruse was wrong, and that he should've trusted the knights. He decides to use his money to fortify mondstadt's walls.'

Why would diluc do that?! Canon diluc would never. Fortifying the walls isn't going to make the city safer.

It's going to make it more claustrophobic. I don't think Mondstadt's citizens would like it. I mean, remember Decarabian?

Let's be real, Jean is the 'stupid' character. Well, more like hasty? She's the one that suggests we summon Dvalin at DAWN WINERY!

So I think honestly if Vigilantism would ever work, it would be in Mondstadt. And I gotta be real, that's some J Jonah Jameson sounding shit. Like most things, there is nothing inherently wrong with Vigilantism, and particularly with Diluc's version of it. It's really an issue of law/chaotic good. And like I think vigilantism would work in Mondstadt because there are gonna be times when the knights fail. But there are gonna be times when Diluc fails. And I think together they could pick up slack for each others.

And also Mondstadt's walls are not an issue like… Mondstadt is a pretty well fortified city because you only really have very few methods of access, So it's not like the walls could be attack on all sides. Mondstadt is pretty sturdy defense wise.

Like the Dawn Winery is in a little more trouble but Diluc's there so ya.

As for Jean I don't think she's necessarily Stupid. Hasty, yeah I'd agree. But she's too eager to please and doesn't seem to know the word 'delegate.' Which when you are a leader you have to delegate work, and you can't micromanage stuff. Which is seems like Jean might do. I don't think any of this makes her a bad character by the way I think it makes her flawed and more interesting and gives her room to grow but Genshin isn't really set up where we can see that story.

What if: when Kaeya confessed his secrets to Diluc, he not only confessed he was a spy. But that he was glad crepus died, because he wouldn't have to kill him.

(what if Kaeya was so consumed by his feelings, he ended up saying some pretty awful things? )

I genuinely think Diluc would not return to Mondstadt he might still run the winery but at a distance. I don't think he'd ever have the heart to tell anyone Kaeya's secrets, but also I don't think he could handle being in Mondstadt.

I think current Canon Diluc is one who's burnt out from burning the candle at both ends, and it is now learning balance and that he can trust other people. But If Kaeya said all that and Diluc still have his time traveling, I think he'd be more prone to just shutting himself away.

I could tolerate and like Jean x Diluc. If their fans could stop butchering diluc's personality, and quit making Jean into this perfect being that can "cure" Diluc.

I've seen Jean fans say that diluc should be grateful someone perfect like Jean would want to date him.

They write Jean fixing diluc's relationship with kaeya. They write Jean fixing his personality. They write Jean as this competent person that could fix everything.

And I don't know why.. But to me, it feels wrong.

Honestly, I never read Jeanluc because it honestly just feels like a ship made out of white bread. So I had no idea what people are writing in there.

But to hear that is devastating because let's get one thing straight. A relationship will never fix a person. It can help a person. But it will never fix you. And there is nothing that needs to be fixed about Diluc to be fixed, He is hurt and needs support. He needs to be show that he can trust people again. That he can be kind and people won't turn that kindness against him again.

He needs a fucking apology from Kaeya. And Kaeya need to put in work to show.

I swear, some people don't know was chemistry is. Because Diluc and Jean is like pour a glass of water into another glass of water.

Diluc's thoughts on Chongyun and the Fontaine siblings trio? (Sorry, chongyun is my fav and I like the sibling trio lol)

So I have briefly thought about Diluc and Chongyun before, mostly around an idea of Chongyun hearing about the Darknight hero and thinking he's a spirit of some kind. I might go back to that idea I feel my humor writing had gotten stronger, and that idea was leaning towards funny, but I didn't go far enough into it. And there are few things worse than a joke that doesn't fully commit.

But Diluc would love Chongyun. He'd admire him greatly for his dedication and desire to follow his family traditions, despite the condition he was born with. I think he'd definitely take Chongyun under his wing and add him to his collection of children.

As for Lyney Lynette and Freminet. I think he'd be in a lot of conflict internally. He'd relate too much to Lyney as being the elder and feeling pressure to protect the younger siblings and live up to “father's” expectation. Lynette, I think he'd just be able to have good conversations with, and he'd genuinely like her a person. Freminet is a child someone Diluc would want to protect with all he had, regardless of his status as a child of the Hearth.

Honestly, I think despite how much he'd like Lyney and Lynette on a personal level, he'd be weary of them. And they would be of him. Until he helps out Freminet. And I do like thinking they know of Diluc's status, but I also like the idea that Diluc is a good legend among the common people of Snezynaya. And after seeing him help, Freminet Lyney would be more incline to believe those stories.

I actually really love Nichijou. I rewatch it every few months. But honestly I can see him being Mai but the important question is who is his Yuko? I do think Mai and Diluc totally share a sense of humor that totally throws people (specially people like Yuko)

Genuinely disgusted by how people keep victim blaming Diluc, saying Diluc is the source of all of kaeya's problems. And some of the people slandering Diluc are Diluc fans themselves!

Don't get me started on the "jokes" this fandom writes about him. I personally don't think physical violence or 'characters getting blamed for something they didn't do' are funny jokes.

Wish people would realise how shitty of a person kaeya is. It doesn't help that Genshin rewrote kaeya to make him likeable.

Sorry for rambling. I'm sick of how terribly Diluc is getting treated. And I am avoiding most of the fandom, but I still end up running into these people.

Honestly, like Diluc low-key has been getting shafted for a while. In the fandom and in canon.

And the only reason I think that he's been kept in Mihoyo's basement is because his lore is just so end game heavy. So that's why he hasn't popped up again. I think Mihoyo realized that the traveler could just ask Diluc shit, and he'd be able to solve like 70% of their problems.

As for the fandom. I personally am both fascinated by fandom as a method of looking at people's social interaction and as a method of studying their interruptions of media in a creative way. But also holy cow does it suck to be in here sometimes. And I feel I am desensitized to people's shitty takes on Kaeya and Diluc. Partly because well. I'm a Jason Todd fan, so I've been having the shit beating out of me since like 2014 (when I got into superhero comics). And I do see a lot of parallels between fan interruptions, Bruce's relationship with Jason and Kaeya and Diluc. Like Bruce has deeply wronged Jason. And I'm not talking Under the Red Hood, I'm like talking RHatO #25 and whatever the hell was happening in Gotham War (I'm honestly trying to forget that). And so has Kaeya. Like Man is not that stupid, his decision to tell Diluc that was entirely selfish. You have to have like no emotional intelligence to do what Kaeya did. And Kaeya had consistently proven he does have that. He had a great moment of weakness and now continues to be too weak to actually apologize. He's also dense in a way I'm not a fan of. Because if you really think he's gonna be a spy and betray Mondstadt I would ask you to take a literature course to expand your critical thinking and analytical skills. Because it would make no sense. Like he might for like half a second, but then he's gonna turn around.

Anyway. If you want a piece of advice, the only advice I can give you is to not engage and let it roll off your back. You're welcome to come here and bitch if you want. As I am the Hate Crepus corner. And I'd say I'd warmed up the Kaeya but honesty I think I've just warm up to how *I* write him which is different.

On a positive note, I'm working on a theory that Jason Todd and Diluc Ragnvindr are Lesbian Wraith characters. No, I will not explain at this time.
