You ever open up a fic and barely a paragraph in your whole body starts trembling with giddy excitement?

The plot is exactly right and the atmosphere and the voice are all soul-singingly good, right at the very beginning, and you have to stop yourself from hooting like a crazy old wizard because Oh HOo HOOOOOO this one’s gonna be GOOD

Since I already scribbled this weirdness, I might as well put it here.

Ok we all know that this:

Is Peter and Tony, in any shape, in any universe.

That lyric is literally Peter talking to Tony after his death buuuuut what about this??

Just imagine them after a Lord of the Rings marathon and Peter saying something like:

"Oh man, it would be cool to have a secret language. Ned and I tried to make one after we first saw the movies, but we didn't do much more than make an alphabet, it's actually very difficult to make a whole new language. :(“

And Tony simply saying:

"What the hell????? Let's make one right now kiddo, a language just for us."

And then they both spent HOURS reading about languages, lexicon and pronunciations of ancient Latin (And a lot of other Idioms) to finally create their secret language.

After Tony died, the book they made was covered in dust and Peter never heard anyone read it again, no one else knew how.

I know Snape was the only death eater that was able to produce a patrons and I’d just like to beg your pardon.

Snape conjured a patrons based on an obsession. What he had for Lily might have been love once but let be real, we’ve surpassed that phase. Now it’s just an obsession over her.

Other than Lily, his life was fucking miserable. His father was a prat and his mother was weird. He got bullied at school and he doesn’t really seem to enjoy his teaching life very much.

It’s also portrayed that his patronus is conjured from love and not happiness.

So excuse me if I feel like any other death eater has happier memories than Severus Snape.

Lucius Malfoy, he’s respected at the ministry and has a wife, a son that he at least cares about, a nice ass mansion. He’s wealthy and grew up in a famous, rich family, why can’t he conjure a patronus?

Bellatrix Lestrange, like the only death eater who really enjoys what she’s doing with Voldemort. She straight up laughs when killing Sirius. Why can’t she conjure a patronus?

Regulus Black, whose love for his god damn house elf got himself killed. Why can’t he conjure a patronus?

Narcissa Malfoy, who loves her son more than anything, so much that she straight up lied to Voldemort who can read minds just because there’s a chance her son is still alive. Why can’t she conjure a patronus?

Why can’t any of the death eaters conjure a patronus especially since Harry, at 13 years old, could do it based on a made up memory.

It’s a shit excuse to get people to like Snape more.

Y’all I swear every February for the past three years I have a really intense dream and I wake up and start typing it on my phone and write a fic about it and they’re always like my favorite and most emotional works and I think they’re always written in present tense which I rarely do.

Writers block has been intense but the annual February whump wip is coming along well. I think it’ll be the best one yet 😊

I realized that Snape was kind. Not nice, but kind. Nice isn’t kind. It’s about saying and acting. Other people prefer nice people. Because being kind doesn’t mean you will act nice. Smile, saying things other likes and want to hear. Snape saved people, Snape sacrificed himself for others. Snape cared. Snape worked and tried. He buried his own life. And that’s kind. Snape wasn’t nice. He didn’t smile to others. He didn’t say nice things. He didn’t pretend to be lovely. And Snape is mostly hated.

It’s a good example of humanity. They prefer nice over good and kind.
