first of all, how did you make it green wth (it blinded my eyes ouchies)

I don't mind ppl using my design for them at all, I love seeing ppl do creative stuff or just have fun

just don't try to claim it as yours, no need to always credit me on your post but I'd love to see it

anyways, I like the idea of Oni Joel, I've seen artists design him as one and I really like it (you guys are so talented)

I keep drawing him as a Tanuki just because I like my design and sometimes Mister Smallishbeans himself keeps unintentionally feeding my headcanon lmao (you'll see how when I have time and energy to draw him)

Zamurai clothes ref

Joel didn't wear a kimono but still has Zenimarusode sleeve, I'm not an expert but I think the Edo period kind of fits

I also added pocket in Shimo bc it's nice

He wears Geta (Japanese clogs/flipflop) instead of Warajo

IT HAS TANUKI BEANS UNDER (can leave footprints)

I'd love to make a full reference sheet of him but I currently have too much work on my plate U-U;

I already have the front ref sheet posted on this blog you can screenshot some other angles and I recommend you search for the word samurai clothes for his clothes reference

If you're not in a hurry I might be able to spare some hours to make a quick ref to see which color goes where but no promise, these two weeks are pretty tight for me T_T
