Hey! So I follow your Kingdom fanfic, Thy Kingdom Come, on AO3 and LOOOOVE IT!!! Also, I had an idea while I was reading this latest chapter. It's basically Mu-Yeong bringing Prince Chang to his house due to some circumstance (maybe they need to hide from bad guys or the Prince is hurt) and his wife gets to meet the prince that she has heard so much about from her husband. I feel like a Chang and wife (does she have a name??) interaction could have some great potential! But just an idea!

Taking that as his cue, he lifted his head, shock jolting through him when he saw Mu-Yeong’s head bowed in front of him.

He kept a placid expression on his face when his guard froze, and raised a slow eyebrow when Mu-Yeong lifted his head to stare at him with growing horror.

Summary: His eyes widened when the infected suddenly jerked backwards, staring uncomprehendingly at Beom-Pal, who had leapt onto the dead man’s back, winding an arm around the person’s throat and pulling the creature backwards, away from where it’d nearly sunk it’s teeth into his neck. An arm that was dangerously close to the creature’s mouth, which had cracked its neck and twisted it far beyond what any normal human neck should be capable off – and was scant few seconds away from chomping down.

It’s dawning on me just how genuinely difficult it is to figure out if an FMA character is good or bad when they’re introduced.

And this is because literally 90% of them debut by trying to beat the shit out of Ed. Seriously. If you tally up every good/ally character at the end and divide them into “tried to beat up Ed in their introductory episode” and “did not try to beat up Ed”, I’m willing to bet the first category is larger.

Extra fun fact, the series Big Bad, Father, is introduced to Ed by healing Ed’s wounds. Ed and Al spend at least five minutes of that episode thinking “Maybe this dude isn’t so bad” which honestly I understand when you consider 2/3 of the people Ed meets typically try to kill him.
