A "friend" of mine, who turned out to be homophobic, asked me if my whole life is ONLY about lgbtq, gay, trans and all that "junk".

I answered with No. Not my whole life, but most of it. Simply because there are still people like this "friend" who make unnecessary comments about being gay or lesbian, who see trans people as a sin, who don't respect and accept our community. I will not stop talking about it just because someone calls it "unnecessary" or not "worth talking about". Because it IS! There are still people outside who have to fear for their lives because they love the same gender, who are trans, who feel different. People who get killed, tortured and abused. People who live in non supportive households.

I will continue to talk about my life as a trans person, I will continue to go to pride parades, I will NOT stop because someone tell me to!

i am trans. i sometimes have dysphoria but mostly not. i sometimes like my chest or i dont have a problem with having it (i still want TS). i like to wear baggy but I also like to wear a skirt. i love my feminine curves and I am still trans. i may look sometimes like a femboy with wearing a skirt but I am still trans. OF COURSE you can be a femboy or like feminine stuff as a trans boy :D just a little reminder

Binding

Binders

I found that Spectrum Outfitters worked best for me (prices range from $50-$39). I also have binders that are older and stretched out or that don’t work as well (like gc2b) that I use when I don’t need as flat of a chest because they are easier on my rib cage lol. If you do that, do NOT count that as a break!

Practice safe binding!

Don't bind for more than 8 hours

Don't sleep in a binder

Don't exercise in a binder

Get the right size

Try to only wear a binder for 5 or 6 days a week (this one is hard, I know)

If it hurts, take it off!

If you notice bruising, something is wrong! Your binder might be too small or you may be wearing it for too long.

TransTape

Wearing binders all the time is not too good for you so I recommend using a variety of different binding techniques. One is TransTape!

The reason Ace bandages are unsafe is because as you breathe it gets tighter and tighter and can really hurt you. But TransTape doesn't do that, it's like the tape athletes use when they sprain their ankle or something. It's safe as long as it is used properly. Plus, you can wear it for up to 5 days, exercise and sleep while wearing it, and it's water proof!

TransTape isn't the only brand of course, but they do have a lot of great resources.

KT tape is another option if you cant afford/arent allowed to order TransTape. You can find it at most drugstores and box stores for relatively cheap. The adhesive isnt as strong as TransTape, keep that in mind when applying.

Men's Compression Shirts *I have not used these myself (yet) but I hear they work pretty well*

Made for cis men with gynecomastia but hey we can use em. Obviously will work much better for smaller chests, but could still do something for bigger chests, maybe for under a hoodie?

They won't flatten you as well as binders but the goal is more to masculinize the shape of your chest than to completely flatten it. They are also safer than binders.

The Urge; but someday

The urge to just run away from home to escape the fights with my parents, to go somewhere where people don't know me as a trans boy but as a "normal" boy and to fall into the arms of the boy I love without fear of prejudice.

But that's not possible.

I have to wait until I am old enough to escape the fights. Until then, I have to fight my way through these arguments.

I have to hope that one day I can proudly say that I am trans. Until then, I have to hide it.

I have to wait until I see him again because of the distance Adults created. Until then, I have to call and text with him, getting prejudiced for dating a boy as one and having a distance in our relationship.

But someday, everything will be possible =)

Maybe God created Trans People for the same reason he made wheat and not bread or grapes and not wine; so that we too can take a part in divine creation.
