I always forget that Missy set the Doctor up with Clara. In terms of the master’s plans, I think it’s up there with one of the best. She was really just like “I’m going to set my ex up with this babysitter, and create a relationship so toxic it threatens reality” and that’s exactly what happened. Flawless execution. No notes.

The Doctor, while investigating a shadowy Time Lord Adjecent Agency, discovers a Universe Ending Plot, which they throw themself infront of to stop. This causes The Doctor to have a Massive crisis of self that their former idol/mentor uses to attempt to manipulate them for their own ends, this backfires So Horribly for their idol/mentor. Meanwhile, The Doctor's companion(who is Totally normal about the Doctor, and super Doesn't need therapy) is on a dangerous quest they do not understand, like at all, to help them. Now, did I just discribe The Flux or Zagreus?

they should have let her be angry (anger was practically her secondary response to any situation)

now that rtd is back we can have working class rep on doctor who (all of thirteen's companions were explicitly working class; graham was a bus driver, the khans live in a single park hill flat, dan lewis is unemployed/explicitly below the poverty line)

thirteen is never wrong because she's chibnall's special mary sue (1. sexist but 2. literally a plotline throughout her run was how she withheld information from her companions and s12-13 especially focused on how this negatively impacted both her and the fam)
