According to a 2024 interview with the creators of the Nintendo 64 platformer Glover, they have been in talks with Nintendo regarding publishing the game. Shigeru Miyamoto personally suggested that the game should be made part of the Mario franchise and be titled "Mario's Glove".
A mock-up of the logo for that scenario was made, shown above, but the developers ultimately decided to keep the game as their own original IP.

#slowly starting to think that miyamoto is a banjo-playing bumpkin who mr magoo'd his way to being credited for gaming's mickey mouse#he hasn't done game design since mario 3 and that was listed separately from the level designers so idk what he even did. the overworld?#everything else has been directing and producing credits. even zelda. even pikmin. all attributed to him for telling someone else to make i#he's a suit#anyway shoutouts to Takashi Tezuka; Yoshiaki Koizumi and Koichi Yamashida

Trip World is an obscure little Gameboy game released by Sunsoft in 1992. It's got amazing music, highly detailed graphics, and you can beat it in under an hour. But my favorite part about it is the monsters. There are tons of them to see despite the game's length - and many of them won't even hurt you!! If you want to see some of the skrunkliest bunklies to ever inhabit a platformer, please join me as we look at...
