every time i start to feel cringe for being too deep in the hyperfixation i remember the intense depression i have waded through and have to remind myself that enjoyment is fleeting (so grab it with both hands), and life is for loving (so hold that love close), and if anyone thinks i’m cringe they must not be having a very good time (and i hope they can find a good time soon).

"don't go grocery shopping when hungry" doesn't work for me because Not Hungry Me cannot conceive of a universe in which food is needed so she buys like a cup of pomegranate seeds and some fancy cheese and thinks that'll get us through the week.

akashi is a legend. he appears for the first time and tries to commit murder over high school basketball. he manipulates his way to victory. he threatens with taking off his eyes if his team doesn't play right with all seriousness

the easiest way to get akashi to take his nap was for masaomi to hold him, so masaomis talking on the phone about serious business things with a 2 yr old akashi passed tf out on his shoulder

masaomi never encouraged akashi to hold his hand like his mother did, so akashi grabs the back of his suit jacket with his little hands instead. akashi never remembers holding his fathers hand but he remembers the security he felt gripping onto his jacket

masaomi would sometimes sit akashi on his lap as he worked, the intended effect was that akashi would learn about business earlier on, but he was only 3 so all he cared about was playing with his dads pens. It probably shouldn't be but its still a good memory for akashi, he liked playing with the pens and listening to his dad talk

i feel like the daddy issues are even worse if he had good memories before his mom died : )

takao would trick midorima with a "spell icup" kinda joke and midorima would get IRRATIONALLY angry about it

he wouldn't talk to takao for a week
