Also I find it truly disturbing how so many wealthy couples specifically target underprivileged women for surrogacy. Like these women are often driven by financial desperation and are subjected to immense physical and emotional pain throughout the pregnancy and all while the intended parents view it as a mere transaction, just so deeply exploitative and once the baby is born, they simply take the child and hand over money as if that compensates for the trauma and risk involved. What’s even more heartbreaking is that there have been cases where the intended parents back out at the last moment, abandoning the woman with no legal protection, no financial support, and a baby she never intended to raise.

“Not every person has the right to be a parent” is a sentiment I feel is widely accepted in leftist circles, referring largely to abusive households. But this doesn’t get taken to condemn surrogacy and egg-donating industries. Like Jesus Christ why do most leftists not care about this flavor of stuff when it financially exploits women, and subjects them to unnecessary harm? All just because it means infertile women and homosexual couples can have a different way to have children to raise? What happened to “having children isn’t a guaranteed right” Of course I know it’s because of misogyny, but good grief.

Another day of why I hate being mentored by male biology teachers. Has anyone noticed how in the education system, female teachers pedagogical skills are often doubted and disrespected? Meanwhile, male teachers are consistently held on a pedestal, their words taken as absolute truth simply because they come from a man. It's as if authority and intelligence are automatically assumed in men, while women have to prove themselves over and over again. It's frustrating to see a woman's proficiency constantly questioned, it’s a direct insult to the dedication and qualifications of hardworking female educators. And unsurprisingly much of this bias often comes from male students themselves🤷🏻‍♀️

Nothing is as deleterious to modern society as religion. It blinds individuals with hatred and callousness, often driving them to commit acts of violence in its name. Religion instills a false sense of superiority in its followers, leading them to treat others with disdain or inferiority simply because they adhere to different belief or none at all. Feminists certainly don't support male led armies that have historically been responsible for mass rape of women. Feminists don't support any group of men, naively pretending that they'll only go after “bad men” to save them without harming women and children. This isn’t a Bollywood movie. Women have the most freedom now more than ever, and therefore the beauty standards have been lifted to the point of skyrocketing makeup and plastic surgery sales in order to “keep them in their place”. It’s normalized to make fun of women for not performing makeup or femininity correctly, if you criticize this industry you’re “not a girls girl” and called ugly, gross, and unhygienic for not shaving or wearing makeup. It’s enforced by women as well as our capitalistic system and patriarchy.

I truly cannot see how anyone can argue that makeup is “just for fun” with comments like this being so common by women. Makeup and beauty isn’t for “fun”, it’s driven by patriarchy in an effort to keep woman in a self-created panopticon where they constantly criticize themselves.
