rambling about it here, while I told that to my closest friends only... from some time now my older cat (he's 16) has been not doing very well, he lost a bit of weight and was generally more tired, so we tried taking him to the vet but they wouldn't visit him (he's aggressive when brought outside his home) and they wanted to sedate him to make some blood exams but we didn't want to stress him more than necessary...
Last week he started having problems walking and our vets couldn't come to our home to visit him, so we called another vet who at least visited him at home two days later... and today my mom told me that he has a tumour on his leg bone. I was at work, and it's been a rough period because I have a lot of tasks to do, and the news was just... a lot. I wanted to cry, probably at some moments during the day I had my eyes on the brink of tears... Luckily I told that to my closest friends (and some colleagues) and I was able to cope a bit better... It's strange how in those moments, you just know which people you can count on... I know he's just a pet and not a human luckily but... I work with people with tumours everyday and I know that bone tumours are among the ones which hurt the most and I just hoped that my cat wasn't hurting so much. The vet told us that he isn't suffering (not a lot) for now because when you touch his leg he doesn't seem hurt... She says it will probably hurt in the future... My greatest hope is that he won't suffer but I know that if we have to end his life due to this it's gonna be so painful for me...
It's ironic (and admittedly kinda sad) that val wants to visit the lust ring so much but if he and ozzie met they would not get along at all lols (i think ozzie would ramble a lot about what lust really is for him to val and val would just... not listen lol)
Voxval evil love song in s2, except later it gets a wholesome reprise from one of the more wholesome couples. (To highlight the differences between those relationships I guess)
Orrrr the opposite, them taking a "wholesome" song and "corrupting" it with their nasty vibes. (Maybe not in a full on reprise, but just a reference (the way "You didn't know" references "Hell is forever" for example))
Alright, alright, alright. I've seen peeps saying, "Vee's verse is a joke, Alastor is still alive", but who cares? Let me break it down for you - the real deal is that Alastor got his ass handed to him in front of the whole Hell.
Alastor and Vox weren't fighting for territory, souls, or money; they were fighting for control over the narrative. Alastor's narrative is that he's the most dangerous demon in Hell, who killed every overlord that stood against him. Everyone fears him because they've heard stories and screams. But... those were only screams. It's easy to fabricate that. I'm not saying he didn't kill them, but no one saw him doing it. Yet, they saw him fleeing the battle like a coward.
Exposing Alastor's weakness to everyone in Hell is still Vox's big win.
Also, I think that's the reason for Alastor's hatred towards video - it allows less deception; you have to show, not just tell, especially when someone else is holding the camera. It's much harder to hide anything.
