What seems clear is that Biden’s inauguration marks the hegemony of an American oligarchy that sees its relationship with China as a shield and sword against their own countrymen. Like Athens’ Thirty Tyrants, they are not simply contemptuous of a political system that recognizes the natural rights of all its citizens that are endowed by our creator; they despise in particular the notion that those they rule have the same rights they do. Witness their newfound respect for the idea that speech should only be free for the enlightened few who know how to use it properly. Like Critias and the pro-Sparta faction, the new American oligarchy believes that democracy’s failures are proof of their own exclusive right to power—and they are happy to rule in partnership with a foreign power that will help them destroy their own countrymen.
Not sure the case is here that what they are doing is pro China because they love there system or hate the American one. The drive for money and more to the point power is generally apolitical and amoral. What works is what works.
That said the influence of China is buried so deep into everything including the things that might root it out that it may be impossible to do so.
If your of the casual “yah China bad” crowd take the time to read this. It jumps to a few conclusions that maybe it shouldn’t, however they aren’t baseless conclusions

Similarly, in their sanctimonious fervor to boast about their role in “fortifying” the election and its aftermath, Ball’s informants actually outed themselves as the crooks, cabalists, and conspirators they really are. And poor Ms. Ball appears the useful idiot.
She quotes someone from the Democracy Defense Coalition as saying:
“There’s an impulse for some to say voters decided and democracy won. But it’s a mistake to think that this election cycle was a show of strength for democracy. It shows how vulnerable democracy is.”
While this can be read to mean democracy was in jeopardy until Democrats organized the shadow campaign to save democracy from a Trump second term, it’s really just a slick way of confessing to rigging the 2020 election and stealing it from Trump.

The biggest of the Big Lies is we live in a country where leaders are held to account, where the press “speaks truth to power.”
We’re in for four years of abuse, of demonization, of Ginger Goebbels spitting in our faces and telling us it’s raining while the press corps thanks her and asks for more.
The virus is still killing people, but the Big Lies coming from Democrats are doing more lasting damage to this country than anything a bug could do. But that bug will be the air cover Democrats in government and the press will use to impose things they’ve desperately wanted for years – never let a good crisis go to waste. That Democrats have any interest in those crises, or any plan to address them, will be the Biggest Lie of all.
“…we live in a country where leaders are held to account, where the press “speaks truth to power.” “ This is of the biggest absurdity, our leaders know what they are wise or competent. “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities .” By doing what these “leaders” tell us (including mask wearing , regardless if they work or not) we re enforcer the absurdities and make the atrocities all the more likely.
it’s the little pointless lies that you have to live by that demoralize the soul of a civilization

“[I]t’s amazing,” he added. “A month has gone by, and we still don’t know [what happened]. And yet, we have these eight-foot-tall fences with concertina wire completely surrounding the Capitol. We’ve been told they are going oh to be put in place sill March at least. Listen, the Capitol is the people’s house. It shouldn’t be barricaded unless there [are] some real threats that I’m not aware of that they are not telling us about. I think we ought to take that fencing down and return to as normal position as possible. I think the fencing is remaining in place to send a signal — a narrative that 74 million voters who voted for President Trump are dangerous to our democracy, they’re all insurrectionists, and that’s simply not the case.”

Obviously, that doesn’t mean the riot didn’t contribute in some way to his death, and that the rioters are not responsible in some way. But there’s a big difference between bludgeoning someone to death and not — and that difference is intent.
My point here is not to downplay the awfulness of this man’s death or the riot itself. My point is that all the corporate media do is lie. If you think back on it, it really was the reports of Sicknick being beaten to death that shaped people’s perception of what happened, from a mob of lawless and stupid rowdies to something much darker and more malevolent.
The idea of a police officer being beaten to death with a fire extinguisher… My God. That’s your takeaway image from an event that was awful already. But only now, after almost a month of fake news and propaganda, do we discover that…
…it didn’t happen.
you want to shut down the conspiracy talk….
you want unity….
Stop Lying
Needlessly Lying

…That silent majority is now a permanent minority. Further, the political marketplace no longer exists. You are not allowed to speak your mind to your fellow citizens, unless your opinions are approved by the managerial class. They are also making sure that your choices at the ballot box will be limited to their approved options. Even if you find a way around it, the magic of mail-in ballots will guarantee the outcome in advance.
What this means is the new age of managerial authoritarianism will require a new brand of politics that fits the age. All of the avenues of the old system have been closed off or corrupted, so they serve the ends of the regime. Mass censorship monopolizes the public space by the organs of the ruling class. Systematic ballot stuffing closes off the electoral route. Even the courts are a dead end. A court that claims the Founders wanted special rights for men in drag is no friend of the people…
….The main point of politics for dissidents in any sort of authoritarian society is to develop and maintain an atmosphere of pressure on the regime. As ugly as it looks, those troops, barricades and razor wire fencing in Washington are a great result. A ruling class living inside an armed camp is one that will eventually burn through its emotional capital and begin to make mistakes. Ideally, the ruling class stays behind those barriers, fearing that the people on the other side are ungovernable.
Another thing we must do is abandon solution-based politics. For generations, the white majority has been conditioned to think in terms of solutions. In this new politics, there are no solutions. There are tactics that advance the interest of dissidents, which are primarily the weakening of the regime. The solutions in the demographic age can only come after the collapse the liberal democratic order. All politics now are about creating conditions in which rational politics can return.
Not fond of the use of “white majority” or “ white populism” he has his reason, if i recall. points are valid regardless
really not happy we are here

Support organizations who fight for your rights in the courts, such as The Institute for Justice.
Support organizations who fight against human trafficking and slavery, such as Operation Underground.
Support organizations who work to expose the hypocrisy and criminality of the oligarchs, such as Project Veritas and Judicial Watch.
Support organizations that work to inform and to educate everyone about American history and Western liberalism, such as Prager University, The Freedom Center, Classical Conversations, The Mises Institute, The Library of America, Hillsdale College, The Atlas Society.
Support organizations that find leaders within troubled communities and help them identify and develop potential in others within those communities, such as The Woodson Center and Liberty Hill Foundation.
Above all, fight. This is a fight Americans cannot afford to lose.

“Central to Solzhenitsyn’s moral and political vision,” he explains, “is the nonnegotiable distinction between truth and falsehood. Solzhenitsyn’s target was precisely the ideological Lie that presented evildoing as a historically necessary stage in the fated ‘progress’ of the human race. He always asserted that the ideological Lie was worse than violence and physical brutality, ultimately more destructive of the integrity of the human soul.”
I can think of no better analysis of the true legacy of 2020: Not the Coronavirus itself, but the way it was used to justify the illegal power grabs of bureaucratic, progressivist elites; not the riots themselves, but the lie they were justified by (that America is riddled with systemic racism); not the attacks on Donald Trump per se, but the fact that his enemies in the government, media, and big corporations were willing to tell any lie to take him down.
“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”
our leaders know what they are doing…….absurd

A version of Critical Race Theory was implemented as the core ideology of the German State between 1933 and 1945. In the German version of Critical Race Theory, it was the Jewish race that used their power and privilege to oppress other races, and therefore needed to be legally sanctioned. One can read the scholarship of the Third Reich’s leading institute of racial science, Jena University’s Institute for Heredity and Racial Policy (Institut für menschliche Erbkunde und Rassenpolitik) from the 1930s and simply exchange the term “Whites” in place of “Jews” – and it reads awfully close to today’s official racial ideology.
The Department of Defense senior leadership has already instituted training that highlights the problem of a military in which over 50% of its members share the malign characteristics of being both male and white. One might think that an official ideology that declares an entire race to be malign and oppressive could not pass muster with the clear language of the 14th Amendment and the 1964 Civil Rights Act. However, we can be sure that any legal opposition to Critical Race Theory will be swept aside by Chief Justice Roberts.

The trouble is the system always selects for innovation over continuity. When the microprocessor came along, there could be no debate about whether this was a dangerous new innovation or how best to prevent this radical new thing from overthrowing the old rules. Democracy always comes down on the side of the new thing over the old thing. Every innovation, no matter how pointless, is celebrated as another step in human progress. Democracy is a perpetual revolution.
As a result, there could be no Tiberius moment with the microchip. There was not one to examine the new thing and contemplate its ramifications. Instead, it was quickly adopted setting off the technological age. Not only did no one think about the trade-offs before unleashing this new thing, not one thought about them afterwards. New is always good in a democratic society. The only thing better than innovation is more and faster innovation. Constant change is the ethos of liberal democracy.
The trouble, of course, is that the current ruling class is the product of the democratic system that created this mess. These are people bred to overturn the tried and true in favor of the novel. That instinct is seen in their fetish for men in dresses. They are attracted to it because it is disruptive. Our ruling class is was selected by a system that rewards pointless novelty over sober mindedness. A ruling class of such people means we are ruled by a class of powerful toddlers.
That may be the next turn of the wheel. Democratic dictatorship gives way to some form of personal rule, where stability and continuity are prized over innovation. The ruling class is symbolically and physically walling itself off from us, but what comes next is a culling inside those walls. The feckless and stupid will be pushed out as a matter of survival, by those actually capable of wielding power. That will be a trade-off that everyone can accept, because it brings stability.
