Got in on short notice last week to be part of @chocolateandartshow at @somarts. I was grateful to be part of it. Hello and good evening everyone I hope all is well. Been busy lately the last couple of weeks until this past Sunday finishing the graphic design movie poster I made for a client. The movie poster came better than I expected. Even my client was shocked and extracted. The film is called “The Trip” and I will have more information also later on to keep you informed of when, and where it will take place at. I will be showing a video of it at a later date. Keep believing in you, your dreams, and your purpose. It can be hard at time to believe in you when times get tough. But like I been saying all long if you don’t stay positive and keep believing in you who will. Sometimes we got to bring the monster out of us to get overcome our negative thoughts, fears, and doubts to persevere ourselves into not only the best version of ourselves, but to be sucessful in whatever we do. Hello and good evening, everyone. I hope all is well with you and your close ones. This past week I hike Mount Diablo with a Professor from Norway. We started at 8am and didn’t get done till about 7pm. We reached eagles peak, some other peak I can’t remember the name, and the top of Mount Diablo. In all it was a 17-mile hike. After the reaching the first 2 mountain tops, I didn’t think I was going to reach the top of Mount Diablo. But as we were sitting at the summit. I took some time to focus and calm my mind down to tell myself I can do this, and I will finish this. In order to not only prove myself what I am capable of doing, but what I am willing to do to push myself beyond my self-limited beliefs, and overcome them. So, when you face adversity in your face, you have to preserver yourself through it. Because sometimes our mind tricks into believing in what we can or can not do, and what we fear when we don’t even know sometimes why we fear it. I challenge you to push yourself because in order to grow, or accomplish your goals, sometimes you have to walk through some fire to understand how to reach them. An that is ok. Because without failing, making mistakes, growing through pain, it’s going to make it harder to grow as a person. But will be well worth it because when there is consistent growth, you will find consistent happiness. Keep growing and keep being the best you. When I created this painting, I had walking Pneumonia without even knowing it. Boy It was hard to compel myself to go to the studio at that time. Because my body was sick, but also my mind. Lost my marbles for a minute lol because I never experience that type of sickness before. So that night with the emotions of feeling sick, I took the colors of red, gold, black, blue, white silver and poured it onto the canvas. Then used a popsicle stick to create the circle pattern in the middle that I was feeling inside my mind. So, when times get tough and really hard. Remember what hell you walked through to get to where you’re at now, and also giving the mind and body a break when you feel content to do it. Because working on yourself, your life, and your dreams every day is a great thing have, but you don’ want to burn the candles at both ends. So be wise in actions you take for yourself.
