I LOVE the aesthetic of the Ghostlight express and the Rubber Hose inspiration that the Haints have 😭 (i also have flashbacks to playing Cuphead which im still not over LOL) so i thought I’d challenge myself and draw each of my players in a different aesthetic.

Next up I’m working on our Path of the Experiment Barbarian who told me her inspiration is Sally from Nightmare Before Xmas and The Bride from Creature Commandos so i was thinking doing a Tim Burton—esque look for her 😭

If anyone has any ideas what to do with a plague doctor plague born monk for my third player please let me know LOL

We’re not running Crooked Moon until at least September but im so excited to DM cause my group has come up with some amazing PCs 😭

1. Loren - Ashborn Warlock (Great Fool Patron); formerly a tiefling and burlesque dancer in Rakto’s carnival, she’s being played by my husband.

2. Sally - Threadborn Barbarian (Path of the Experiment); a mix of Sally from Nightmare before xmas and Bride of Frankenstein, im really excited to see this character come to life. She’s being played by our Curse of Strahd Paladin.

3. Name TBD - Plagueborn Monk (Warrior of the PestilentHaze); might multiclass into gravedomain cleric, all i know is this player wants to be a plague doctor aesthetic and whats better than a giant rat LOL

Boethiah being strapped with said shield to her back (cause everyone else who has you bed it has been emotionally bullied): WHAT? What was that? I don’t speak STUPID asshole.

Cos updates:

Sterling our blood Hunter werewolf got kidnapped and brainwashed by the Barovian werewolves and has systematically traumatized the party with her new evil doings.

Our Paladin Phoebe is surprisingly cool headed for the fact that her ex situation ship just got kidnapped.

Nocturna has been forcing the party to drag around three werewolf corpses in case she gets a chance to summon some ghouls for maximum chaos.

Also a spider crawled into her ear? Lolth asked what are we?

Nocturna got caught spying (UNINTENTIONALLY I MIGHT ADD) into castle ravenloft after scrying for Zuleika’s husband.

Strahd caught her and there was some weird power play foreplay happening where he basically offered her Vasili’s job if she could off him.

Strahd admitted to liking Nocturna and that she reminded him of Kasimir’s dead sister?!

Nocturna is not well.

So we finally finished the Abbey last night and someone please tell me how your party handled the mongrel folk. Cause me and the Blood Hunter basically mercy 💀’d them (except for Otto and Ziggy), put Vasilka to rest and killed the Abbot, and I’m still reeling from it today 💀💀💀

Yesterday’s final confrontation with The Abbot consisted of Nocturna doing Steps of Noght through the air, doing some acrobatic shit as she reached for the asshole while rolling 14d6s and knocking 70 HP off him in one hit all while Abracadabra by Lady Gaga hit its climax and it was really beautiful 😂😂🤣😭😭

So a few months ago at this point we went to the wizards tower in CoS and our Blood Hunter Sterling decided to rob the wagon outside of all it’s belongings (including a chicken which she proceeded to name Mordekai) and that was that.

SOOOO in our CoS session yesterday, a very pissed off Vistani woman accusing Sterling of stealing her shit nearly took off Sterling’s head with a lightning bolt, electrocuted our Paladin Phoebe when Phoebe tried to disable her by taking her prosthetic leg and proceeded to tell Nocturna she was a blue bitch and couldn’t understand her accent 😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀 (meanwhile Godfrey sighed from a distance watching the girls fight LOL).

She proceeded to punch Phoebe in the face and stab Sterling (while arguing over the custody of the chicken) before Nocturna cast sleep on her and tied her ass up. 😭😭💀

And that was OUR introduction to ezmerelda d'avenir. 💀
