Pathanamthtta

In Kerala, India's Central Travancore region, there is a municipality with the name of Pathanamthitta. Additionally, it functions as the district's administrative hub. The population of the town is 37,538. The main hub for transportation to Sabarimala is the town of Pathanamthitta. Consequently, it is known as the "Pilgrim Capital of Kerala." Sabarimala, a Hindu pilgrimage site, is also located there. On November 1, 1982, the Pathanamthitta District was established. The District's whole land area is covered by forest to a greater than 50% extent. Additionally, the district has boundaries with the Tamil Nadu and Kerala districts of Allepey, Kottayam, Kollam, and Idukki.
