Romance. On a reality show? Yeah, good luck with that. But when two past rivals once again meet their feirce feelings for each other struck up something new. -CHAPTER 1-

Y/N wasn't planning on this. Not at all. After last seasons public embarrassment of getting tricked by the blonde haired bitch herself into getting voted off the island after a misunderstanding with the other campers orchestrated by Julia, the H/C swore to herself she would never put herself into a new and slightly traumatic experience ever again, preferring to stay in her well established comfort zone. But, college was around the corner and she could really use some money to assist with the move, considering she only lives with her aunt who has a less than satisfactory pay and she is no contact with the rest of her family. And it's not like it could end up too bad, she did make some friends the last time she was here, one of whom she had grown rather close with due to living in the same city. And this time she knew better than to cross Julia, just steer clear of her path and she would be fine...maybe. 

But of course, her esteemed and painfully gay friend Bowie had other plans, his lanky frame slots himself into the seat on the aircraft next to her. They were both the first to be picked up, being the furthest from their eventual destination. Bowie smooths down his blonde curls from the hectic wind outside. He crosses one leg over the other and allows an easy going grin to grace his perfectly balmed lips. "Well, didn't think we would be doing this again in a hurry."

Y/N huffed out a laugh, nerves settling slightly in the presence of her best friend. "Tell me about it, the only good thing to come from this is getting out of that stuffy town. And we get to hang out with the hockey bros and Axel without having to take an ungodly amount of busses." It was true, when they all wanted to hang out together, Bowie and the H/C would have to spend hours on busses just for a couple hours spent together. 

Suddenly the chopper lurches, Y/N catches herself on the slightly torn leather seats before she goes tumbling onto the tough filthy floor of the aircraft. Bowie grimaced and tightened his posture, leaning back in his seat to feel more stable. "For a show with such a good budget, the transport vehicle could use some work" Bowie mumbles as he brushes crumbs off of the seat next to him. Y/N wrinkles her nose in lazily concealed displeasure. "Knowing Chris he probably blew all the money on a new wig, that guy is in his fifties, he's trying to hang on to his good hair, but we all know that under the wig glue he is balding and grey." 

Bowie barks out a laugh, as they hear almost a scoff from the steering pit, the face of the pilot concealed by a slightly oversized helmet and almost ironic aviators jacket. Eventually the laughter soon died out as Bowie adjusts his posture to be more laid back, now that the aircraft has settled into a smooth gliding. "So, do you think anyone has changed much since last season?" 

Y/N stared off out the window in thought. "Well, we know Raj, Wayne and Axel haven't, and i didn't notice anything really different when we bumped into Damien at the Castle and Caterpillars event that Wayne just about dragged us too only because he wanted to dress up. But maybe Priya? She did win all that money, maybe she has undergone some changes." 

Bowie snorted out a laugh and rested his head on his fist, gazing out of half lidded eyes. "Priya? What, all boosted up with cosmetic surgery or something? I know she despised me for the....stunt..I pulled last season, but even I know that she wouldn't even consider that. But to think about all that money, what someone could do with all that..."

Y/N's eyes darken as she now looks at the floor, an almost frustrated expression painting her features as she narrows her eyebrows. "More like it's crazy what people would do for all that.." Bowie purses his lips, both of them picture the same person in their minds. 

"You think she is gonna be as much as a nightmare this season, or maybe she went through some epithany since last season that made her self aware of how much of a self centered heartless cold bitch she is?" Y/N bursts out laughing at Bowie's well chosen words, nearly falling out of her seat. "Now that is by far the funniest thing you have said all day." 

Bowie rolls his eyes, but a smile pulls at his lips, betraying the slight amusement his own thought gave him. "Well you can't blame me for wishing for easy competition. As much as i hate to compliment her, she knows how to play, if it weren't for the pure luck and my genius skill last season, she would have been in the finals, and maybe even won." 

Y/N grimaced at the thought. she was more than happy for Priya, probably one of the more friendly faces of the bunch of teenagers that had spent all of last summer together. She was sweet until the end, well actually, more like until Bowie had revealed Millie's diary criticising Priya's parents and upbringing, sneakily ripping out the last pages where Millie takes back her previous words and writes about how Priya has shown her what friendship is really like, destroying their friendship until after the finals, where Priya barely snatched a win by making it to the bottom of the mountain in her vomit filled oversized hamster ball first. An evil plan by any means, but also a very smart one. 

Eager to change the subject, Y/N shifted to a more comfortable position and faces Bowie more directly. "So, if you win, what you gonna do with the money?

Y/N and Bowie spend the remainder of the journey from Arizona over to Kentucky chatting and laughing about what they would do if they won the money and what they think the rest of the cast would do. 

The aircraft eventually slows and comes to a bumpy and rocky stop on the tarmac, the doors clang open and two white blurrs leap in, almost like something out of a action movie, which is so ironically them.

"Not the most stylish ay?" Mumbles a high-pitched voice with an almost foreign accent deeply engraved in it. "Well like my ma always said Rajjy, sick things come in ugly packages!" Loudly gloats another, this time more deep but heavily laden with a thick canadian accent. 

Y/N smiles fondly and shakes her head. "I believe you mean, big things come in small packages, Wayne." Wayne smiles and flashes a thumbs up as they (attempt) to strap themselves in. Raj plonking himself down next to Bowie as Wayne follows suite. "This is totally cool guys I'm so pumped for another season!" Raj exclaims as he kicks his feet and pumps his fist over excitedly, Bowie watches with a small smile, making a curve stretch across Y/N's lips. 

In the previous season, Raj had his very own gay awakening, he had fallen for the loveable yet malicious Bowie, Soon enough, confessing to Bowie in the middle of a challenge resulted in them starting a relationship, their dynamic fitting perfectly together, while Raj's best friend Wayne was just happy to be there. 

Y/N opened her mouth to respond to Raj's contagious enthusiasm when a crackly voice blared over the built in speaker. "Heading now from Kentucky to sunny Florida! Make sure your strapped in, or don't It's all the same to me.." The familiar yet also distant voice let out a short laugh as a high pitched beep emitted from the speakers signalled they were about to yet again take off. Getting flashbacks from an hour ago, both Bowie and Y/N hold onto the seats as the aircraft jerks back to life. 

"Florida huh? Sunny, privilaged, attractive. Infuencer mania, three guesses who lives there." Y/N forces a smile but an uneasy feeling settles in her stomach. Even with the comfort of her friends surrounding her, she couldn't help but have a nagging feeling that maybe opting for an easy route to money wasn't the best idea. Y/N gazes out the window, watching dust cloud the air as they rise back into the sky. Maybe she's changed?

it had been a few weeks since the incident, and honestly, things have been great. Y/N felt a lot more confident in practice without the guilt of bailing on her friends and not providing a sufficient reason why. Y/n was about to enter the stage, she inhaled deeply and let the breath out through her nose as the podium rose onto the stage.

As the top of y/n's head became visible Aiden let out a noise that sounded similar to a train whistle. Tyler glared at Aiden with an irritated look "Do you mind? I came here to listen to something pleasant, not ear piercing." Aiden smiles and pokes Tyler's shoulder. "Well im just supporting out friend." And supporting her he was, dressed head to toe in merch.

Taylor smiled, she was sat on Ben's shoulders to get a better view. "This is such an experience guys, i am so happy to be here to support y/n. this is something we-" Ashlyn cut Taylor off "If i have to put up with Taylor yapping the entire time i swear to god i will-" Ashlyn was cut off as rauccous applause errupted around them, y/n and her group had finally emerged onto the stage. Ashlyn cupped her headphones more snug against her ears to hopefully lessen the deafening noise, Ben patted Taylors leg in his own sort of apology.

Logan smiled as he held up a sign that said "y/n step on us" (IT WAS AIDEN'S IDEA AND POOR LOGAN GOT LUMPED WITH HOLDING IT OK-) Aiden was going beserk, screaming "I KNOW HER!!" as the steady rythm to the song started y/n walked closer to the edge of the stage where the group was located. she spots the sign, and, with a rather confused face, leans forward to read it. She covers her mouth to stiffle threatening laughter as she makes out what it says and walks to the opposite side of the stage, greeting fans.

As the show proceeded, the group got more and more invested in the performance, Taylor was singing along to the lyrics, she had learnt every line to every song, preparing herself so she can support y/n as best she could. Aiden was also belting out the lyrics, but screaming them at defeaning volumes, multiple people stood around them giving them dirty looks. Tyler was muttering compliments on the choreography to himself, but he was smiling faintly, too was Ben and Ashlyn, who were nodding their head/ tapping their foot to the beat of the music.

Logan was filming and trying not to get trampled by rampaging fans, poor guy. as the show finished up and the fans dissipated from the arena, y/n flopped down onto the sofa backstage. wiping her sweaty forehead with a cloth. the group bursts through the door, Aiden and Tyler throw themselves down on the sofa next to y/n while the others gathered around her. they all had something nice or other to say, even if they were worded in...strange ways.

"You were so good y/n! I keep replaying it in my head i enjoyed every second."

"You did pretty good or whatever. sick dances."

" I really loved the effort you put into the lighting and the strategic placement of the back up dancers."

"You're quite talented."

"Im going to get your solo in "a hearts wish" tattoed on my-"

Ben coughs and smiles, cuttng off the most likely traumatic thing Aiden was going to pitch. a notification pings from y/n's phone, y/n picks up her phone and looks at the notification which had come from a news app, "feral fan flashes unsuspecting supporters during show of popular band.." y/n clicked on the notification, confused, to be greeted with a video of Aiden pulling down his trousers slightly, traumatising the poor people behind them who got a full view of his...behind. Y/n slams her phone down, trying to erase the image from her mind.

She smiles awkwardly and looks around the group. "Aiden i reccomend not showing your face in school for the next 5 years."

y/n quickly speed walked through the allyway, crossing the intersection, she had five minutes till vocal practice and she was already running late as it is as Aiden decided to pull some dumb stunt right before she left. she did want to be honest with them, but after recently transferring schools she didn't want the news to get out again, last time all it did was hinder her school life, but she couldn't be mad, she adores her fans and does her best to excuse their sometimes out of line behavior.

y/n breathes out in relief as she arrives to the recording studio. as she walks through the carpented halls she had a thought were the group on to her? it did seem kinda weird she had to keep cutting hang outs or leaving so abruptly. well, they probably didn't even know her group, the weren't as popular as other bands, if they did, they would of bought it up by now. also, if they did discover her group, its not like they would know its her from the glamour of the makeup and costume design. with that reassuring thought, she pushed open the doors to the main studio. nahh, they have no idea.

"There is something going on with y/n" Ashlyn said, crouched in the bus seat, taking the entire seat to herself. Taylor turned and raised an eyebrow. "Do you think? i mean, i did think its kinda weird she always left really early when we hang out, but i just thought she had strict parents or something." Aiden laughed ."No, iv'e spoken to Marhshall and Christy, they are actually really laid back"

Tyler gave Aiden a confused look "When did you get the chance to meet her parents?" Aiden sat down next to Tyler, who immediatley shoved him off the seat onto the floor.

"Well i was bored so i was gonna ask y/n if she wanted to come and convince old people its 3000 and that the nursing home was a secret time machine" (Aiden would totally do that you cannot tell me otherwise.) "But she wasnt answering er texts so naturally i went to her house and climbed through the kitchen window."

Logan gave him a horrified look and looked back at Ashlyn. "We should give y/n her own privacy, if she wants to tell us where she is going then that is up to her, we should drop it for now, maybe."

Ashlyn nodded in response and kicked Aiden off the chair next to her that he was trying to sit on.

the group (minus y/n since she scurried off to another rehersal) were leaving school, it had been a long day full of work and Aiden, so everyone was tired and pissy. they were turning the corner when they heard the voice of Barron. Ashlyn grabbed the back of Taylor and Aiden's shirts so they wouldn't walk into their line of view and pulled them back behind the corner.

"Doesn't that new girl y/n look familiar, i just thought she was some washed up bitch who iv'e probably seen sleeping around, but then i noticed this." he pulls out his phone and shows one of his skanky friends a picture, it was of y/n in their most recent school photo, Ashlyn can barely discern the picture as it was from a distance but could still recognise the face.

Barron zoomed in on a mark on y/n's neck. Ashlyn had noticed the mark several times, but never chose to bring it up. Barron loaded up a new picture, this time it was a picture of someone in an over eccentri outit, their face covered in makeup and their hair done fancy, Barron zoomed in once again to reveal that this mystery girl had the same marking on her neck that y/n did.

"I think y/n is a member of the girl group ONCE" the group all turned to look at each other. Ashlyn pulled out her phone and researched the group, clicking on a video of a recent performance, Ben smiled and pointed to a girl near the left, now that they saw it close up, there was no mistaking it was their friend y/n. "I recognise this music, my dad always plays it in the car, says its cheery, doesn't stop me from wanting to jump out the window." Ashlyn says as she clicks off the video.

"But why wouldn't y/n tell us?" Taylor says looking around. Tyler just rolled his eyes. "Well i would be embarassed too if i had to wear ugly frilly dresses like that." Logan smiled weakly. "That's not the point-" Ashlyn cut Logan off, finishing his sentence for him, "She probably doesn't trust us enough, that's why, this is kinda a big secret idiot, so lets just pretend we haven't seen this and never bring it up to her"

Too late. Aiden had already sent y/n a picture of the video they had been watching with the text: "nice dress LOL"

A few weeks later, things began to work out better for y/n, after seeing Aiden's text, she came clean and explained everything about her vocal practice, and that she did indeed trust them, she just didn't want the knowledge being leaked. the others all accepted her and her career. infact, her band and the group even all hang out together, but Aiden was more so interested in farting in the mic and hearing it reverberate through the sound system.

Gyaru: A carefree and rebellious spirit

Y/N twisted a pencil between her fingers as she contemplated how she had gotten to this point. she didn't want to be shovelled in the corner stuck doing school work while others get free reign of the arcade. but she knew if she even moved the slightest than Barron would be pissed.

you see, Y/N was always seen as a black sheep, among her family, and mostly among her school peers. but she wanted somewhere she could fit in, so when she started her new school, she searched for exactly that. she quickly found it with Barron's rambunctious gang. they smoked, they skipped, they did things that Y/N considered cool as shit. that's where she wanted to be, they were her type of people, loose cannons per say.

so when Y/N approached Barron as asked to hang out, Barron greeted them with a smile but said there were some favours she would have to do first. she has been doing said favours for the last week, which was just doing their school work while watching them hang out. Barron considered it as hanging out as Y/N was in the arcade with them, but was not participating in any of the games.

this was not at all what she wanted. Barron stood up fully from his crouched position at the air hockey table, stretching his arms. "anyone wanna go out for a smoke?" murmmers of agreement responded and everyone slouched towards the fire escape. Y/N started gathering the books and paper to join when Barron looked over his shoulder and said "Oh Y/N, can ya stay in here and keep at the work, your doing great, and i really don't wanna like mess up your mojo, i really need this pass." Y/N huffed and slouched back down in her seat. "ah thanks, your a great friend." he shut the fire escape door behind him.

as Y/N sat and contemplated, she felt a bubbling pool of irritation flood her mind. so far she had not done any hanging out at all, and she has not been treated like a friend whatsoever. rising from the table, she grabbed Barron's books and slammed open the fire escape door, having an epithany.

she threw the books on the floor so they landed at Barron's feet in a scattered pile. he looked up with an annoyed look. "look Barron, you are a cool guy, atleast from what i have seen anyways. but i don't wanna do this anymore, i wouldn't mind helping you out with a paper the odd week or so but this is just dumb. you said if i do this then i could hang out with you guys but i have just been crammed in the corner the last week. so I'm done."

Barron glared, his greasy hair hanging in his eyes. he grabbed Y/N forcefully by the upper arm and roughly pulled her ear close to his mouth. "look, just because your at a new school, doesn't mean you can act like king of the fucking hill...your just some weird loser.. and when you came up to me so willingly then obviously i was gonna take the chance. your never gonna fit in here. but i suppose your used to getting used by the looks of you. fucking pathetic."

Y/N squirmed out of his grip and stepped back, she felt the familiar burn of tears and raised a hand to her eye, trying to disguise it as itching it. but of course knowing her luck Barron noticed. "Ahah! now that's just sad. aw you gonna cry because you have no real friends?"

thats when you heard the fire escape door behind you open, out came a ginger girl, a guy with green hair, a tall dude, a guy with glasses and a set of what Y/N would assume, twins.

"ugh, does this dick ever learn?" said the male twin. the group approached Barron slightly as the tall guy put a hand on your shoulder and smiled. he scribbled on a notebook for a second before showing you " hello im ben :)".

Barron had a slight look of fear cross his face, but it was gone as soon as it was there. he spat on the ground at the ginger girls feet and walked off, followed by his group. the female twin turned around and smiled apollogetically at Y/n. "you okay?" Y/N nods. "I'm Taylor, that's my brother Tyler, that's Aiden and Ashyln." she points in order of the twin, to the green haired boy and then the ginger. "and i can see your already aquainted with Ben."

"next time you should throw the books onto his feet, not the ground, that would hurt alot more." said Aiden, with that slightly eerie smile. the ginger girl lazily gestured to Y/N. "Airhockey, lets go."

it wasn't the exact group Y/N was looking for, but she was happy none the less. maybe that Aiden kid could be interesting...

jake comforting anxious! Dan

disventure camp, s1. anxiety, age regression, fluff

Dan chewed his nails, his mind was a whirring blur of thoughts, he knew he was on the chopping block, at the end of the day, he knew that Gabby would pick Ellie and he would end up eliminated. He takes off his shattered glasses with shaky hands, examining the cracked lense. he had no idea how he had gotten himself so worked up it was one small occurrance that just spirraled out of control into a mass of worry. sure, it wasn't the end of the world if he was eliminated, but there was still the nagging thought in the back of his head that he was letting everyone down.

he slipped his glasses back onto the bridge of his nose and and gripped his palms tightly. his nails making indents in his skin, he slips into camp and rummaged through his bag, breathing out a small sigh of relief as he felt the soft felt of his old blanket, it was severley tattered now, only a small square remaining, but he just could'nt bring himself to let go of it, he pulled out an old colouring book and some crayons. he crosses his legs and rests the book on his lap, scribbling accross the page in different colours, it was mostly out the lines. Dan was smiling to himself, the one hand that was not clutching a crayon was filled with his little blanket scrap.

Dan heard footsteps behind him, and then he felt the presence of someone next to him, he looked to his left and saw Jake squatted next to him.

"Dan, hey, i just wanted to check in after today...i know it has been kinda rough for you.." Jake tilts his head as he looks down at what Dan is doing. "oh, your colouring? its a bit..messy." Dan shrugs his shoulders, not pausing his movements. "i like it like that..." he mumbled.

Jakes eyes widen slightly, he has seen similar behavior before, his ex boyfriend had dealt with the same thing. he smiled at Dan and crosses his legs too, trying to make Dan more comfortable. "so, whatcha colouring?" Dan smiles, his mood lightening up considerably as he shows Jake the generic house with a sun picture, Jake soon started colouring with Dan, although his turns out alot neater.

Altho she isn't the most affectionate person, she will grab your hand and squeeze it tightly when she is nervous

she begrudgingly...after ALOT of begging, allowed you to play with her hair, when it is undone it is super wavy from being in those plaits all day

if you every get seriously hurt/die in the demon dimension, she will act calm and collected at first, but then totally lose it

she wont cry until she is alone of course

refuses to leave you alone until she knows you are better

after that she doesn't let you leave her sight

if you die then he will go silent, not as energetic or bouncy until he knows you are okay again, he constantly brings you things to entertain you with while in the hospital

he will buy you flowers out of nowhere just to see you smile

sometimes he feels bad that he cannot say how much he loves you verbally

constantly has hand cramps from writing huge paragraphs about his love for you

the type of boyfriend to just pick you up and hug you when you are mad

you help him calm down when his temper starts to flare up

he really enjoys doing soothing activities with you such as pottery, painting, and baking

he is AMAZING at baking

in the phantom dimension he likes to have you on his back

to reassure him that you are still there and safe, and also as a way to have quick access to you when you are in danger

if you die in the phantom dimension he will have this deeply disturbed look on his face

he honestly looked after you better than the doctor did

he brought you home cooked meals, your clothes, some things to cheer you up

he wants you to feel loved and to know that he will always be there for you even though you cannot hear him say it

so, there was no intention for a relationship at first
