Went for a walk, dropped off batteries at the park to be recycled, and folded some cute dragons on a picnic table during golden hour before heading home. (Dragons designed by Robert Neale, Sok Song, and myself.) #origami #dragon #morigami

While waiting for paperwork to be done at the bank today, I used the ticket with my number in line to make a variation of Robert Neale's dragon and a basic box-pleated person (from a rectangle). The second photo shows the dragon on a stick of gum for scale. #origami #dragon

Another foray into adding 3D geometric shapes into my modular origami mandalas. This uses the same base as the prior model. This is not in my new book, Magnificent Origami Mandalas, by Matthew Green (on Amazon), but 32 other interesting models are!

I was aiming for an 80s aesthetic for this new partly-3D modular origami mandala (8 squares of kami, no glue). I wanted to go 3D because many modular mandalas are flat.

Since it's new (conceptually designed over the weekend, folded on Monday and Tuesday), it's not in my book of "Magnificent Origami Mandalas" on Amazon... but maybe it will be in the next one! #origami #modularorigami #mandala #origamimandala

My book is almost ready!

The test print from KDP is here! It looks amazing and I’m very excited. Some tiny adjustments are needed on the cover for things to fit right before it can go on sale, but that’s not unexpected. Elina Gor did a fantastic job with the graphic design and Ilan Garibi has been invaluable as a guide throughout this process. #origami #morigami #mybook
