Arcane's soundtracks and not only
Okay. I'm gonna yell about the best soundtracks of humanity! I once thought this was the soundtrack of the first season Arcane, but now Arcane season 2 is seriously competing with it!
The soul-breaking Sting or the Stromae and Pomme song specially written for the series???? Chart-breaking Enemy by Dragons or the climax of the show with 21 pilots????? The retro-tinged indie Our Love from a steampunk jukebox or the bardic Spin the Wheel by the most optimistic character in the most depressing animated series????? The welcoming Playground or the farewell Wasteland???? The heavy and tragic Guns for hire or I can't hear it now?…
And so on down the list. But since the first season's list ends early, the best is awarded to….. The entire Arcane soundtrack!
And not only are the songs individually good. Combined with the gorgeous visuals of epic moments and great written characters, it's just… it's just the sauce of amazingness poured on a plate of awesomeness, and the cherry is a broken heart.
I'm only writing about the soundtrack, because it's the fastest (you can't write much about it, you have to listen to; in parallel with watching it, of course). If I start about the power and beauty of the content: about the image of science, about the relationship of mother-daughter and sisters and not only, about the characters who did not have a single line, but they are in my soul, about the diversity of female characters or the fact that the main massacre classicaly happened because two guys could not talk normally…. I'm afraid I won't finish.
Anyway, successfully escaped from reality, where you really want to cry, to an utopian-antiutopian world where you can burst into tears at every turn💪 and I don't regret anything. But unfortunately it's time to go back…
