Reasons why I love winter

I love the winter, I wish I could take the winter season and mash into one store and just be able to buy things that I need in order to keep it winter during the summer too.  There are good reasons to love the winter and these are my reasons to love the winter.

1.Cuddles

Sweet mother of Mercy, cuddles.  I LOVE CUDDLES!  THEY ARE WARM AND DELICIOUS FOR YOUR BODY!  Plus on top of that you can feel another person’s warmth, it’s like hot cocoa, but a whole person.

2. Hot Cocoa

If any person is allergic to chocolate, I am sorry for this post.  Winter means hot cocoa and hot cocoa means marshmallows in my household.  Marshmallows and hot cocoa to me are like DBZ and Goku, they need each other to work and to work well.

3. work

Since I am still in college, and most of my jobs revolve around school settings I get to have long days to myself and not work.  The sweet sweet bliss of doing absolutely nothing (other than Ridgez INC) is a blessing and I will cherish it, until I graduate or get a career job.

4. snowflakes

I am in a love-hate relationship with snowflakes (hate = con and love = pro).  One hate is that, snowflakes means it is so cold that water has been re-frozen and there are people outside living on the streets.  (Bless them) One love is that it’s so pretty and it’s fun to watch.  One hate is that I will have to shovel all of them later on and when the large trucks pushes them back on my sidewalk… My thoughts while shoveling: NO!!!  Another love is that snowflakes personally make me feel l can fly somewhere else or just enjoy the warmth I have inside. A final love is SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!!!!!!

5. Family

During the school year, I am busy between jobs, writing scripts for RidgezINC, editing videos, going to college and trying to have a somewhat social life. It’s nice to see my family again. I enjoy being around time to time and sometimes I think we all need to take a break from our “busy schedules” and tell our families, “hey. I was forced to have to you as my family, but I tolerate you enough for just this day.”

TOP 5 CITIES

TOP 5 MODERN CITIES

         I have been very fortunate with my life and I have been able to travel to a few countries and see many people, cities and towns. This lists consists of the top 5 modern cities that I have visited in my lifetime so far. If I visit more cities and I enjoy them more than the cities that I have on this list, they will be added. Note: Modern meaing a direct product of the industrial revolution and its effects. So for example while Marrakech maybe the most modern city in Morroco, it’s not “modern” enough in comparisson to Paris or Dublin. 1. New York City (Manhattan), New York

       First of all New York is broken into 5 boroughs, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx and Staten Island (it should not count). So when lots of people outside of New York City say, “I am going to the city,” they mostly mean they are going to Manhattan.         Why Manhattan? Because it’s Manhattan, no it is not perfect. No city is perfect, but sweet mother of nectar of sweetness, this city in particular does not care about who you are or what you do. You do have an opportunity to do something amazing big or small. This city either makes you or breaks you, it is a pretty straightforward place and if you can not keep up than you get lost in pack of forgotten. Does this city sleep? Yes it does obviously, but compared to many other cities, this city is very wide awake with 24-hour bodegas, taxis bustling around and people still being up working on projects, playing with kids, selling shirts partnering with partners or playing some hardcore monopoly by themselves. Plus where else can you find 70-plus year old women using a cane yelling at, “Move faster you f***face!” 2) Paris, France Note: I spent about five months in Paris and I loved almost everything about it and what it showed me. Paris… I miss you.​​

       Now is Paris truly the city of lights? NO. Sorry for the spoiler, it is actually very dark, most of Paris is actually very dark. Away from “La Seine,” the lights in Paris are not like Manhattan. Paris has street lamps that light up small portions of the street, with a lot of dark corners and hiding places. Can I say that people had sex in them? No, they didn’t. Hardcore make-out sessions? OHHH YEAH! Paris is the romantic city that you see in the movies and it has all of the tourist attractions, like Moulin Rouge, but in order to see the beauty of Paris, you have to go outside the tourist-y areas and unlike most places in America, you can stay up in Paris at 3A.M. walking around, you will be fine. I am glad to say that Paris has made me a product of their ideals, traditions, food, way of life and that will stay with me until I guess I die. 3) Rome, Italy

       I got to see Rome for a weekend (Friday through Sunday) and Rome is one of the places to see. Rome has beautiful people, buildings, markets areas, shopping centers and their food does live up to their standard (I am not hard to please). Unfortunately, my time there was not spent on a boat, but it’s okay. I got to see all of the great buildings built during some different time periods (I am a History nerd), it was like modern and ancient living side by side and people were just nice to me, maybe it was because I was a tourist, but still nice people. Rome, one day I will come back call you home, just for little while. 4) Dublin, Ireland

         So no lie here, I did not want to go to Ireland, it’s also a very green country, but a friend of mine convinced me to go and I am glad that I did. While I was in Dublin, I stayed in a guesthouse. I literally lived in someone else’s house for about four days. There is this little area call the “Temple Bar,” please avoid this place at all cost, it’s a tourist trap with overpriced food and alcohol, but at the same time it looks nice. So the main reason for choosing Dublin is that the people were the nicest among all of the cities. Once my friend and I were lost with a map in our hands looking like tourists and we were trying to get to the Temple Bar just to see it and a couple while ON THEIR DATE, got out of their car and gave us directions. On top of that they were willing to give us a car ride to the closest spot possible via car because the Temple Bar is mostly a walking area. The stereotypes of Irish drinking a lot is kind of true (based on Dublin only) and I went during Easter weekend of 2014 and a man told my friend and I the only time the bars get to repaint their walls are on Saturday of Easter weekend. The reason for that is buying alcohol on that Saturday is illegal. When I saw all of the bars on Temple Bar repaint their walls on Saturday night, I had no words, I just showed my friend and we laughed. Final story, on Easter Sunday, my friend and I were broke, I mean 19 dollars in our bank accounts, which wasn’t enough to take money out from the ATM. We had no food to eat and the owner of the guesthouse offered us sausages and eggs for breakfast. I do not know where he is, but he is the real MVP. 5) Seville, Spain

         Seville is on this list not because of the fancy buildings it has like Manhattan or Paris. The people are nice, but not as nice as Dublin. But it’s hot like Miami and it’s VERY VERY cheap, I mean literally. I went during May 2014 and it was hot. Women, men, food, clothes all of it was hot. To me it was like Miami with a river in it and everyone spoke Spaniard Spanish. People stared at me a lot and I don’t blame them, I stood out like a sore thumb, I wore a shirt that basically screamed, “AMERICA!” Back to it being hot, listen it was so hot in Seville that one time a waiter of mine at a restaurant told everyone at the table, “I am sorry. I can’t serve you. It’s too hot and I need to sleep.” Then they got into their car and drove away. It was also siesta time, it’s the time basically from like 12PM to 4PM that essentially no work is done and people just sleep. Now to the cheap part of Seville, there are still major name brand stores that sell name brand shirts, but they were still cheap compared to Paris and Italy. I could buy a full meal for about four euros (six U.S dollar at the time). They also had a bar that sold beer for eighty Euro cents, EIGHTY EURO CENTS! I thought they tasted horrible, but after a while you get used to the taste and enjoy it, even for a little bit. Is my list the same as yours? Do we have the same reasons? TOP 3 SUPPORT CHAMPIONS

With all of the new changes made to league for season 5 and the meta being changed yet again, League will see new trends from causal gamers all the way to the pros. But as the player that has been playing since season 2 and somewhat refusing to try new roles after being situated in one for so long, I have stuck with three champions for the role of support. Some have got buffed and nerfed over the years, but they have stayed relatively the same.

1) Taric​​

          Taric is so simple, he’s so resourceful, he’s so fashionable with only two skins and he’s functional and his name is Taric. Being functional, that’s what matters to me the most for a support champion, it’s the function of the champion that makes them worth it. Some champions like “support lulu,” can heal you and that’s cool, but Taric gives you a boost in defense, the man can heal you and when he heals you he heals himself. Plus, his ultimate  gives him and everyone on his team bonus damage. What’s that you need a little bit of Champion control? Would you look at that! He has a stun for you too. He’s a walking healer tank and while he doesn’t make “pro plays,” he can get the job done as a support and that’s what matters.

2) Leona​​    

Q. W. E. R. or maybe it’s W.Q.E.R or maybe it’s R.W.E.Q. Either way her abilities are stun, stun, stun and poop the sun. Just like Taric, she is a walking tank minus the heal and she can BRIGHTEN your day. Pick the classic heal and Flash combo and you have a mini-Taric walking with you. She also has wonderful lushes hair that flows in the wind, that has nothing to with her as a champion and her abilities, but she still looks good.

3) Morgana​​

          Morgana has been changed a lot especially in my eyes since season 2. For one, she has new clothes for her classic skin, her Q is about three miles long and lasts for about three years in League measurement. Is she reliable? Yes she is reliable. She does not have a normal stun outside of her ultimate, she has snares and those snares can either really help your team or hurt you. Helping is when she snares the squishy ADC. Hurting is when she snares either a minion or nothing at all and at this point everyone quits league or maybe goes to check out something useful online like RidgezInc. Her E, is a shield against spells and while it may not seem like a lot for people, for many scenarios it is life or death. Her W to me is like a pool of pee, where she makes it look like someone on the enemy team has just peed on themselves and I laugh every time I do it. Finally, her ultimate is good when she can stun all or most of the enemy champions allowing for her team to pick them off one by one. She is a little harder than Taric and easier than Leona and she’s only number three because she has a love-hate relationship with her sister and refuses to seek help for it.

Top 5 Disney Princesses

ridgezinc-sevboyo from RidgezInc suggested to me to make a top 5 Disney Princess list, so I did and this time I added gifs.

1) Mulan

Reason: In the movie, she fought in place of her sick father, she fought for all of China and SAVED all of China.

2) Tiana

Reason: She worked hard and did not need a man to “support” her. Plus the girl was singing New Orleans style of music, always an added bonus.

3) Rapunzel

Reason: In the movie, she kicked butt with only a frying pan and did not need Flynn to save her most of the time

4) Belle

Reason: She read books, did not fall for the “macho” man Gaston, she loved an ugly thing like the beast giving ugly guys a chance at having a relationship with beautiful women because of their personality AND she everything in her power to protect the beast.

5) Merida

Reason: Self-protecting, self-sufficient, does not want to be forcefully married and can use the bow better than a pro.

Oreo music of April

I did not get to make a list of songs for March because I forgot about to do that and I got a little bit lazy on Tumblr, but more productive for other stuff in my life, which is good… I guess. 1) Seratones - “Necromancer” I have recently found a new band to my ears and I enjoy the lead singers voice and the garage band/grunge/gospel type of vibe that they give me. I instantly get a few ideas for videos when I listen to this song for movies. 2) Jay-Z + Rihanna + Kayne West - “Run this Town” Recently I have been making a lot of business moves for @ridgezink and everything is moving closer to my dream and I know that if I work hard enough with the right team, we can makes changes hopefully for the better of this. But back to this song, this song is basically 7 years old and when I hear this song I like to think I am actually “running this Town” or least I will one day even if I do run it, I won’t run it forever. 3) Black Moon - “Who Got Da Props” “old-school” hip-hop, this is just me chilling out to a nice beat and some old bars. Sometimes you have to go reminisce in history in order to enjoy the present and future. 4) Lupe Fiasco - “Kick, Push” I love to longboard, I am not very good, but I enjoy to do it anyways, for me this song is a song to listen to while boarding in general. I might be wrong, but I think I feel the “kick” and “push” of the song. 5) Childish Gambino ft. Jhene Aiko - “Pink Toes” This song is dope, I don’t need any other reason to put this on my list. Sidenote: I plan to post some of my list stuff on @ridgezink so watch out for that too!

Dear league... 3

Dear League players,

           This letter is for the person that takes league too seriously in the wrong way. This is for the person that will say, “gg surr at 20” because they did not get a certain role or even worse, they do not have enough ganks even after the jungler ganked your lane seven times before 10 minutes. This is for the person that types in all chat about how bad his teammates are even though he has done nearly nothing to help out. I dislike you with a burning passion.

         Why? That is my first question. Why do you think that the team will lose because you did not get what you wanted? You are not the best player on League, even the best players realize they are on a TEAM, and TEAMwork is what is needed in order to win the game. There are essentially five roles to play on our team and if you can only play one single role, that is your fault. You need to learn to adapt and play the other roles in order to be an effective player. you make specialize in one role, but you still need to learn how to do the other roles too.

          Who? That my second question. Who do you think you are? We are both in bronze, I do not want to hear about that you are “plat-4-on-your-main-account,” you are in bronze with me, so let’s work together for this one game and move on from this and most likely never speak to each other ever again. We can’t do that, you have to say that I suck as this game when I gank for you at mid lane at minute 2, but you decided to recall with nearly full health and half mana even though I typed, “coming mid,” and pinged at least six times. Then later on, you say in all chat at your base, “never got a gank. jungler so bad.” You make me want to hurt you so badly at that moment.

          What? That is my third and final question. What are you doing?! Are you playing with your hoodie over your face? Are you playing with an inverted mouse? Are you watching YouTube videos? Are you fighting with yourself over a dumb play that happened three years ago? Just what?! What made you think that joining the team fight after your tank support is dead and your adc is dead would a good idea? What made you think that not warding  a single time would help the team? I don’t know what to tell you at this point, just what are you doing on league still?

          I love league and all, but these types of players made me not want to play league sometimes. I say sometimes because when they are on the enemy team, they make my life so much easier to kill them. Some members here at Ridgez I.n.c hate this and I am not going to lie, I fall down too and say “gg surr at 20,” but many times those are usually on bad days or a purposely feeding mid Jax. Mid Jax… That’s for another time.

TL;DR - Some league players think they are the best when they are actually bronze, play only one role and don’t help the team.

DAY 90 to 95

I am starting to fall extremely behind on my daily productive updates, which isn’t being productive. I need to get my act together and start fresh again… Maybe tomorrow, next week sounds good too. Anyways, these are the productive things I did over the past few days: DAY 90 (March 31): - Went to my Asian history class - Went to see a movie called “True Cost” for work (imagine going to see movies as your job? I know it’s called being a movie critic) Day 91 (April 1): - Got a new job and started working there (enjoying it… for the most part) Day 92 (April 2): - Wrote some graphic novels for @ridgezink Day 93 (April 3): - I went to see my little sister’s piano recital, it’s technically isn’t being productive, but I was outside the house, so that counts for something Day 94 (April 4): - I prepared lots of materials for my job - I went to work Day 95 (April 5):  - Went to work - Worked on some projects for @ridgezink

Shows I’ve been watching 2015-2016

The Flash(CWS Season 3)- Pretty Entertaining Show. After last season with time travel,MetaHumans and the Reverse Flash. For this season, they brought in the terrifying Zoom, an alternating reality and other family issues.  Love seeing all the doppelgangers in the Flash and see whats different or similar about them in their alternate reality. Zoom is trying his best to weaken the Flash and Barry now wants to go after Zoom.

Supergirl- Alright show. Melissa Benoist does a good job as Supergirl, but the show obviously has some problems. Also,the graphics are good,  compared to other shows. Some of the villains aren’t my favorite because they all remind me  of the superman cartoon or they make a villain similar to another  superman villain. But I understand why its done because they’re superman villains. I personally think that Agent Carter is a better feminist character than Supergirl and Cat Grant. Comparing to both times when females where stuck at home in the 1940s-50s. I hope they have kyrpto the super dog in one of these episodes. And can’t wait to see the crossover with the Flash.

Gotham(Fox)-I’ve been enjoying this show recently. There were one to three episodes that stood out in the first season. But how they played with the Courts of Owls was pretty good and how they tried to capture Young Bruce Wayne for their rituals was pretty good. I also like James Gorden relationship with all the supervillians or heroes such as Penguin, Enigma(The Riddler), and Catgirl plus Bruce Wayne.

The rest of the season Bruce will find out who killed Bruce’s parents. He will also train some more and learn more about his company. The addition to Hugo Strange and Dr. Freeze is a huge plus. Considering how Arnold Schwarzenegger played him in the nineties. And see how Dr. Freeze goes mad by freezing people for his wife’s cure of a deadly illness.

An American Crime Story(FX)-    Wow This Show is Amazing.The cast and acting is Amazing. And we get to see how it played out on television, like never before with minor changes.Although, I think that OJ killed Anna Nicole and Goldman. I understand why he was found not guilty. Especially not having a murder weapon for the crime and how the police had a huge race problem in the 90s LA. The next episode will have the actual trial and see what Marcia Clark can do to prove OJs guilt.

The Walking Dead(AMC)- Zombies are not the only problem in this apocalypse as well known in the walking dead. The Governor isn’t as bad as what will happen with  Negan and the comic readers will definitely agree. I was really surprised how  they did the first half of the season espeically with what they did with Glenn and the Wolves(a group of hostiles) and the raid of Zombies into Alexandria. I have no idea what happened to Morgan. I hope they talked about what happened to his character cause it seems like he disappeared.

Shannara Chronicles(MTV)- I was hoping it was going to be good, but it wasn’t for guys. I like Wil, Amberly and Eretria as characters and the whole fantasy elements, but it just didn’t go well.

Shows I’m looking forward to see again.

Quantico(ABC Season 1)- Similar to How to Get away to Murder. They are trying to figure out who bombed Grand Central Station. The writers are trying to make everyone seem suspicious. From the start my mind hasn’t changed from thinkings its Caleb or Shelby. But who knows it could be the woman fbi member with a child to the obvious muslim women.

They are going to reveal who the Villian is at the end. And have a different story for season 2!

Agents of Shield(ABC Season 3)- They are forming a secret warriors of Inhumans with Skyle/Daisy as their leader. Hydra is still strong and they now have Ward who was taken over by an Inhuman who lived another planet for how long. I might not watch this season, depending on the next episode.

Game of Thrones(HBO Season 6)- Should be interesting. Especially since we are past the books with Winds of Winters coming in who knows long. We will see Sam Tarly’s Family and see what happens with Daenarys and her dragons. We’ll also see how strong the Boltons are against the Starks. We also get to see Bran with his new abilities.  And see which side of White Walkers or Humans will win in the blistering cold

Daredevil(NetFlix)-Definitely a must watch after their first season was so good. With even more characters!

Bates Motel(A&E Season 4) Will see how troubled Norman Bates is and see what changes will happen with him and his family members and friends. Freddie Highmore as Norman and Vera Farmiga as Norma won’t disappoint with their performance of people with psychological issues. And how Norman must hide it away from everyone else.

5 Oreo music of February 2016

Growing up I was called an “Oreo,” I never understood what it meant until I went to high school, even then I thought it was stupid. So I wanted to create a monthly list of songs of 5 that I was listening to on repeat for that month call it “oreo” music.

1) Logic - “Never Been” I have been stressing a little bit over the month becuase @ridgezink​ is starting to grow and I am trying to keep a composure about all of the new opportunities that keep popping up randomly in my face. The lines where Logic says, “if I knew back then what I know right now I’d be better than I’ve ever been,” gets me almost every time. This month was hard, but I still have to progress forward no matter what and just be better than I Never Been.

2) Awreeoh - “Can’t Bring Me Down” Sure, February was hard on me, but it was also black history month (which should be, along with many others, celebrated year round) and so many things were happening and I was feeling proud to have some melanin in my skin. This song was made before the stuff that happened this month, but it was perfect timing for my ears, I kind of felt invincible with this song

3) Nas - “The World is Yours” Nas, I won’t lie the first time I heard this was on 2k13, but when I heard it I knew this much from now, “The world is mine.” I maybe a key member of @ridgezink​ and I am trying to help it become something legit and people to be proud to rep and wear and talk about, and when that happens… “The world is mine,” just try to stop us, you are going to fail.

4) J. Cole - “Rich Niggaz” I was feeling jealous of people that had more money than me during this month, I reached all kinds of financial low in my life and I thought maybe having money would make me better, that’s not true. I know someone that had more money than me and they are miserable currently and I am out here making moves that people would never believe. I wonder why I am who I am and they are who they are, there is literally no difference between us except how much our parents make. I guess maybe I am this way because I have reached those kinds of lows, but I still have love and I still wonder, “How much for your soul?”

5) Fall Out Boy -  “Thanks for the Memories” This songs came out during my middle school days and I loved it back then so I gave it a listen this month and I remember why I loved this song so much. It’s a really weird way of saying, “F##K You.” I guess now that I am trying to be an adult, it’s a song that I can relate to a lot more especially with how many people that used to be in my life… I guess “Thanks for the Memories”

Once I heard the Danish band’s song 7 years on the radio which tells a nice story with a nice melody. I wanted to know more about the band(not just one person). Their style is very similar to twenty one pilots,but with a little more soul.

Tinashe and CtR both sound great individually and together.CtR verses talks about the use of drugs and to stay off of it. Also, Snapehips electronic musical instruments make the song personally especially with many songs on the radio similar. Their style are definitely my favorite so far. The chorus of the song is also nice

Soccer Prediction

For this week and Next Week Matches

Man United- Arsenal

Even though Arsenal lost with their pride against Barcelona, I predict a 0-2 Win against Man U. Since United are still struggling with Injuries and  will definitely have goals against them.

Tottenham-Swansea

Swansea have gotten definitely better, but how will they face a title contender. I’m predicting a 2-2 draw.

Arsenal-Swansea Arsenal win comfortably

.Stoke-Newcastle.

Although Newcastle are my team and some players are becoming fit again. I predict a 1-0 defeat for Newcastle.

West Ham-Tottenham

This should be an interesting match. Since I have no idea whats going to happen. I’m going to say a 0-0 match so I won’t build to much excitement for this match.

Man United-Watford The score could go for either side. It will decided on who scores first..Old Trafford is a hard place to go to anyways.
