Otherwise I'm having a hard time finding specific pieces that directly match up, so Yana might have designed the coat etc, but the corset, plaid, punk aesthetic etc. are all very Vivienne Westwood. Someone also mentioned Visual Kei, and I would agree, especially with the makeup and split dye. This beret is also kind of the vibe.

HI HI!!!!!! ough your artstyle is so crunchy and nice and shaped, could I ask for a Vil in your style?/nf have a nice daaaayyyyyyy 🫶🏻

Here's what I came up with! (Zoom for details)

I won't lie....this was very difficult.

I have very specific pictures of the characters in my head..and Vil was...well he was never that clear. There's characters that come to me easily, like Jack, who I've only drawn twice to get a design I'm somewhat satisfied with

Idia and Malleus had some more work done on them that I haven't shown here, but I'm at a place where I like how they look...

Vil tho???? Absolute nightmare- here's one of the many sketches and explorations I did to try and figure out something that I'd like and that fits the character's personality

I knew I wanted him to have bold shapes, wear something high fashion runway style but also be sth easy to move in and walk around, I wanted to reference royal cloaks and the original evil queen's design, I knew I wanted to add in a flower motif (because I associate Vil with flowers a lot) , I referenced his og design and the red carpet card (forgot how it was called LMAO) a lot- generally looked at how cannon Vil presents himself, and tried to translate that through my brain filter.. (I won't even get into the journey of his hairstyle)

I'm still not 100% happy with it, a complicated and appearance focused character like Vil needs more time to get done right....but I am running out of ideas here I'm afraid...

I'll maybe revisit him again in the future! But for now, I put the pen down 😭💔
