Really, all Juuzou wanted was a family that actually got along with each other. He couldn't be blamed for trying as hard as he did, right? It was a reasonable thing to want. At least he believed so. So even though he knew he couldn't change his brother's mind, it never hurt to try.
Juuzou continued to eat his sandwich, making rather quick work of it as he felt a sudden weight pressed against his side. But he made no motion to move away. In fact, he welcomed it. Affection, no matter how subtle was greatly loved by him.
:"Probably seems that way, huh?" He couldn't really say much against it. But he knew it wasn't true. Kinzou... he has always been a bit more rambunctious than Renzou or himself. "I'd like to think he just has his own way of showing he cares." He chuckled a little, finishing off his sandwich and then quickly draping an arm around the pinkette and giving him a big side hug. "Hah! Told ya I would hug you~"
Renzo pouted and huffed when his older brother defended them, but he supposed it wasn’t surprising, Juuzo always defended them no matter what. He constantly made excuses for them to try to make Renzo not feel so bitter, it never worked though and he doubted it ever would. He sighed and continued eating, snuggling into his brothers side while he ate. Renzo always liked snuggling up to Juuzo, he was always warm and comfy.
" I don’t know about that one, Kin-nii is pretty determined to make my life as miserable as possible for his own amusement. " His father wasn’t really any different, he was always on Renzo case for something, that guy was never happy with anything he did, no matter how hard renzo tried to make him proud, it was like Renzo couldn’t do anything right in his fathers eyes.

"Did you become a miko of your own accord? Or were you pressured into doing it?" He had to wonder, cause in a way, he was pressured into the position he was in as well. He wasn't given much of a choice really with his brother's death.
"They were a gift by my dad. Blades is all that shrine is about, that’s how it got nicknamed. We actually have to carry a register of every demon blade out there." he let out a hiss "I don’t work much with blades yet. A miko’s job goes more down the road of listening to kamis and making sure they are happy."

It was just a simple sandwich, but it's all he really needed at the moment. Having grabbed it from the fridge, along with a napkin before returning to the other room and taking a seat next to his brother once more. "Ah you know Kinzou is an idiot. He can't help himself." He snickered a little, taking a bite out of the sandwich. "And the old man? Eh... yeah." He couldn't really explain him too much. The guy was usually pretty set in his ways, and never was one to apologize for things.
"And you know you could have just came here to see me. Nobody would have bothered you. I wouldn't have even told anybody that you were here if you didn't want me to..." He didn't like the idea of Renzou wanting to avoid them all to the point of just getting a hotel room instead. It wasn't exactly the nicest of feelings.
" Ahahaa~! Sorry, I’m just glad I don’t have to have anyone yelling at me or kicking me in the head for no reason, that’s why I avoided coming home for as long as I did. I didn’t want to come home so bad that I almost checked in to a hotel instead, so I’m glad they aren’t here. " Renzo was happy that it was just him and his big brother, they rarely spent time together so It’d be nice to get to hang out with him, even if it was only for a few days.
" Nah, thanks anyway. I’ve got everything I need right here~! " Renzo was still hot so he pulled off his over shirt and tossed it on the arm of the couch, he felt so much better now, that shirt was thick, Renzo regretted putting it on over his tank top. He sipped his water before returning to his fries.

"Heh well, I suppose it's better that they are sealed away rather than falling into the wrong hands, or those that are easily influenced. That wouldn't be any good for anybody." Leaning back now, he sighed a little to himself. "That so? For you to have two of them is pretty impressive!"
"Well, I don’t know the history of each one of those blades but if the one that goes 'Blood. Murder. Unsheathe me. I want to slit throats…' etc.. is of any indication, I don’t think it’s safe for anyone to wield them. That Muramasa could have been as much as great swordsmith as anyone says but he can’t have been on his right mind to make swords like that.” Sakikiku covered his head with his arms “I have two demon blades myself but I wouldn’t touch any of the ones that were ordered to be sealed not even for a million dollars.”

"Sure sure! Whatever you say~" He believed his little brother, but it couldn't be helped. The pinkette was just too much fun to tease. It was what he got for not being around as much.
"You don't need to sound so ecstatic!" His brother's smile and all too obvious cheerfulness at that information was a little disheartening, but... it was what it was. But he couldn't help the grin he had on his own face. With them gone, it gave him a bit of a break as well.
The smell of the food that Renzou had bought was definitely appealing, but... He shook his head to the offered fries, grinning a little. "I've got my own lunch made in the fridge." Reluctantly, he stood up, groaning a little in discomfort from his sore muscles. "Want anything while I'm going in there?"
" Uh…Clothes, new shoes, some cds, food and magazines. But honestly, not the kind of magazines you’re thinking about Juu-nii. " Renzo whined slightly at the tease about the magazines while he opened the take out container, his brother might be hungry too, as much as he didn’t really want to share, it was the polite thing to do, but if his older brother was really that hungry he’d probably just take what he wanted out of the container.
Renzo whined louder and rubbed his arm after his brother punched him, it didn’t hurt but he didn’t like being hit either, but immediately grinned at the mention of his dad and other brother not being here. ” I figured, I didn’t see either of their shoes when I came in~! Ahhahahaa~~! ” Renzo munched on his fries happily and offered his brother some as well.

"Sounds like a pretty important place then. Though it sounds like those demon blades need owners that know how to respect them. I'm actually aquianted with a couple demon blade owners!" He nodded, grinning at the compliment sent his way. "Well thats a first, heh thanks."
"It’s shamefully little know for a place that’s the second only to the Shrine of Ise… and it’s on the second largest city of Japan." Sakikiku growled "But not being known is kind of an advantage when you consider we have to watch over the seals of a good hundred of demon blades that have an insane murderous intent. There is one that actually freaks me out when I walk by it…" he turned around on his back again "Nice name by the way."

So, Renzou had been around for awhile then. If the bags were any indication. It did kind of suck that he didn't just stop by here first, but it was too late to linger on that now. "Hah you want a bet?" He grinned, shaking his head. "I'm just a sweaty as you are. At least you got it by doing something fun!" Seriously, he would take shopping over work any day. "the hell did ya buy anyways? A whole new wardrobe?" It sure looked like it. "I'd even bet there are some magazines in there~" A jab he couldn't resist, he knew Renzou would understand what he was talking about.
However, as his brother admitted that he didn't come just to see him, his brows furrowed. "Ya little shit!" He gave the pinkette a light punch and push to his shoulder. "you're supposed to say yes!" He wasn't actually upset though. "Yeah? You have good timing then! The old man is out on business, as is Kinzou." He explained, knowing Renzou didn't exactly get along with either of them.
" That’s okay, I’m still sweaty and gross from all the walking around I just did, you wouldn’t want to hug me anyway.. " Renzo smiled weakly, he could see his brother was tired. He himself was pretty tired too from carrying all his shopping bags around. Renzo had bought quite a lot without realizing it, he only noticed that he splurged too much when he was on his way home and it was too late to do anything about it. If he had to estimate, there was at least seven bags. Filled with clothes, cds, a pair of new shoes, a couple of magazines, his lunch and a few necklaces and bracelets he thought would look good with the outfits he bought.
At the thought of his lunch, his stomach growled loudly and he groaned. Renzo sat next to his brother, now that he had moved over and fished the take out container and water bottle out of one of his bags. ” Sorry Juu-nii, but no. I figured since I was finally done with my exams for mid term, that I’d visit on the few days I had off…. “

Assuming the boy didn't need anything due to not answering him before, Juuzou took a seat on a spare cushion next to him. "Shima. Shima Juuzou." He introduced himself as well, taking hold of the boy's hand and giving it a light shake. "Can't say I'm familiar with the place."
"You are right, that was rude. I’m not feeling very well.I should have introduced myself before pretending you to tell me anything. Particulary with all the hospitality you have been offering me." the boy opened an eye and extended his right hand to the man "Sakikiku Hoshino, heir to the Hoshino clan, from the Atsuta Shrine in Nagoya. We are sometimes referred as the ‘House of Noted Swords’."

"We aren't exactly a normal Buddhist temple either. Kind of hard to explain really. Don't take offense to this, but I can't really tell you what we do here. Seeing as I don't really know you."
"Now that I think about it, I don’t really know what kind of job you do. I don’t really understand the mechanics of Buddhist temples in general, actually."

Juuzou didn't really pay much attention to the door opening and closing, or the fact that someone was wandering around the house. He just assumed it was someone in the family that had stopped by. Or most likely someone coming to tell him that something went wrong and he needed to be there. But then... two legs were standing just in front of him. His eyes glanced up lazily to see the all too familiar pinkette. And to say it was a surprise would be a complete understatement. Really, he didn't expect to see his little brother just show up! "Renzou?! Uh... I'd get up and hug you right now if I weren't so exhausted." He chuckled at his pathetic state at the moment.
He did however slowly push himself up into a sitting position, leaning back on the couch and yawning loudly. "What are you doing here?" He asked, taking note of the bag that Renzou had sat down. "Don't tell me that you came just to see me~" He grinned, teasing the younger male. But in truth, he really was surprised. As well as delighted. He missed his brother more than he was actually say.
Renzo had been back in town for a few hours now, but he avoided going home for as long as he could by doing some shopping and getting himself take out food. Unfortunately, he ran out of money around noon so he had no choice but to go home. His bags were heavy and his stomach was growling by the time he actually got home, there was almost no shoes near the door so he assumed there was nobody really there. Renzo sighed happily at the thought of Kinzo and his father not being there, took off his shoes and went to the living room to eat the lunch he bought.
Carrying all his shopping bags into the living room, he set them next to the couch and was about to sit on it when he realized there was somebody already lying there. Renzo recognized who it was immediately. ” Juu-nii? What are you doing? I’m sure your bed would be a lot more comfortable to nap on…” Renzo shifted slightly and crossed his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow while he waited for a response.

"Ah no!" Save that for the bedroom. He snickered, shaking his head. "I meant it as a figure of speech. Like I get pretty worn out with how much work I usually have to do."
"I don’t think so." the boy closed his eyes "Please tell me the whip part isn’t literal, you seem like too much of a nice person."

"I'm primarily an Aria, though I do have some skill as a Knight as well. But my father pushed me to take the Doctor route. Healing comes in handy sometimes where I work." He then laughed a little at her comment, nodding is head. "You're right, but that doesn't mean a small demon hasn't gotten a hold of it~"
"Oh? what did he push you to do out of your Meister’s then?" she mumbles tilting her head. "No no its fine… its not moving anywhere soon unless it is possessed by a demon that specifically possesses random pouches. which I don’t think have been discovered yet…" she nodded slightly "Ooh I see."

"Did you need anything else?" He questioned, looking down at the bow. If not, he would just take a seat. "I don't know if I'd consider myself too lucky. While I don't have to deal with Kamis like that, I do get pretty whipped with as much as I work!" He chuckled a little, shrugging his shoulders. It was to be expected considering his position though.
"Cushions are good. Kamis can be a inconsiderate, as you can appreciate." the boy laid on a side "You are lucky, I sometimes get woken up at 2 am because they need someone to listen to their troubles. This one was unusual in that he showed up right before school started, ranting something about a human trying to eat him. He also set a volley ball on fire during P.E. class. I’m already not popular, imagine after that. He left around dinner time, a friend of his picked him up and left somewhere. Haven’t seen him after that.”

It was as though he couldn't catch a break. It was tough being the eldest of the siblings... So much responsibility. And the old man was always such a hard ass when it came to work. It didn't allow much time for Juuzou to spend freely. Thankfully however, he had a few days to just relax and enjoy himself. With the old man being out of town on some sort of business. Of course, his relaxation was going to have to hold off a bit, due to all his sore muscles.
Juuzou practically face planted onto his couch, groaning into the cushion. All he felt like doing at the moment was just lay there and not move. Yeah, that sounded like a wonderful idea. Though he definitely was in need of a shower or something. "Hey, Kin-" He stopped himself, remembering that the blonde sibling had went off on some sort of band concert thing. A heavy sigh then escaped him. It kind of sucks being alone like this... it made him miss everybody. And sure, he had his sisters and that, but, they all had their own stuff going on...
