Guys I'm so stressed rn I can't sleep for the 3rd night in a row because I'm moving back home and I need to give back my flat keys and have the "is the flat as good as it was when I came in" visit tomorrow morning and it's giving me so much anxiety and then it can't take too long because I have to run to catch my train and they cancelled my second train to get home so I had to book another one and honestly I think I'm sad to leave my flat which is weird because I had a really bad mental health during my stay here (tough it was also the most creative I've been lol)

Anyway aaaagh I can't sleep I'm stressed and I hate everything and I can't wait for tomorrow to be done but also it's terrifying which is probably why I can't sleep because my stupid brain thinks that if I don't sleep it's never tomorrow

And the worst is all the ideas for drawings/fics that I had while not having my computer are gonna be useless because by the time I'm home I'll have 0 spoons left, like negative spoons even, so I won't do anything jskaaiskaoaons

And I can't even go read a fic from my comfort fandom to calm down like I used to, because netflix decided to ruin it and ruin my comfort character and people are writing about that and not tagging it correctly and now it's giving me anxiety instead of comfort and I'll never forgive them for that

Guys I can't sleep and people on Pinterest are giving me even more anxiety than I already had (which was already way too much) so for my own peace of mind I need anyone reading this to know that no, birds do not descend from dinosaurs, they are dinosaurs, thank you

And also no, sadly, not every dinosaur had feathers, there are some we know for sure didn't, which I understand is very upsetting but true nonetheless

And not every animal from that time period were dinosaurs, and also they were animals, not bloodthirsty monsters

And I'm convinced that people that say that the carnotaurus had arms like a chicken have never seen a chicken in real life, because it does not, the chicken has much longer arms

Nah, in fiction it's fine but as a real disease that would be awful, I still have panic attacks from being unable to breathe because of covid every time I catch a tiny cold, imagine a whole flower in your lungs 😭 but then again I'm probably aromantic so I'd probably be fine lol (but that wouldn't be a nice way to find out i'm actually demiromantic lmaoooo)

Don't worry, I'd tell you! 😊 If you want an idea, hanahaki is still fine (tho I prefer the versions where it's just petals and not full flowers)

Completely unrelated and oversharingly, this made me remember a recurring dream I had when I was like 7 to 10, where I was coughing up one of my lungs and my parents were annoyed and the doctor too, and he told me I had to put it in my nostril and sniff it back to where it was supposed to be or I wouldn't be allowed to draw =( it was fun..... (not) it was a huge white floppy thing shaped like a bean covered with slime with foam around and it did not fit in my nostril! 🙄

It's so weird because at that age I had like 5 recurring dreams that were alternating that I still remember to this day, but I haven't had any recurring one since, it's all one shots that I forget in a few hours now...

Okay headcannon that Simon, Joseph, and Tommy are all left-handed.

This makes it so the 141 get really mad if you talk about how writing with you left hand is bad (also red heads are evil because I can imagine Roach as a red head (and mute but not the point of this post))

Anyways I just headcannon a lot of stuff and then forget it’s not canon XD (also this idea came from a random post on tiktok)

Lmao I'm just imagining Ghost being extra pissed all day because he had to write stuff on the white board and he kept accidentally erasing what he just wrote

Or on a less funny note, what if Simon and Tommy were beaten by their dad and school until they learnt to write with the right hand (my grandfather was, but thankfully the only left-handed genZ I know that also was beaten for that learnt to write in a private (so catholic) school, public schools don't do that anymore) so now he writes with his right hand but he has a terrible handwriting because he's not supposed to be right-handed or even ambidextrous and his friends were playfully making fun of that until he casually talked about his past like nothing was wrong with it. Now that they explained how wrong and bad that was, he's trying to relearn how to be left-handed.

And if it's an AU where Ghost's family (except his father, fuck him, he gets to stay dead) is alive, I just know Tommy is making sure Joseph never has to go through what they did

For Roach, honestly, I see him being the one spreading the rumors about his lack of soul and him being evil, he's just chaotic like that

And he likes it when he sees Simon go all "you said wot mate?" when he overhears someone repeating the rumors, like he hates jealousy so he never uses it to make Simon riled up, but protective Simon? That's nice.

Ghost knows everything, but it's a win win, he gets to scare the shit out of people and he gets to posture and be super protective over one of his chaotic gremlin boyfriends

I like it! I don't really ship it so I don't have any motivation to write or draw it, unfortunately, but I like reading and seeing stuff about them! ^^

But to be very honest, I kind of like Gaz with almost everyone (except Nikprice or bad people), but like everyone else is fine lmao actually I thought some people were gonna call me out in the comments of the cat!Soap fic bc when I edited the chapters I was like "damn that sounds like Gaz and Soap are in love whoops" 😂

But anyway, yeah I like them, they give the "this is my boyfriend Alex and his boyfriend Kyle" vibe, it's cute. I still prefer just Alex and Farah though, bc I have a soft spot for princess bride and the "yes ma'am" is definitely his "as you wish"

OMG WAIT SO IN A WAY SOAP WOULD THINK HE IS DEATH AND HIS SISTER AND MOM ARE LIFE BUT TRUELY THEY ALL ARE THE IN BETWEEN. I mean you can see Soap as Death and his family as Life in a way with Soap being a guide or helper of the dead and his family the helper to keep people alive but also his family could be death by if they don’t use their gift, but that could be mercy depending on the situation and Soap could be life because he can bring the dead back to life and bring life to the dead by talking to them and seeing them! So truly it feels like they are the balance that Soap’s grandma talked about but in less of a good and and why you know? I don’t know I just love these tropes XD hoped you enjoyed this rant!

Yes!!! And he thought death was bad because it took his dad, so that must mean that he's bad...

Definitely! They're all here to help, his sister and Ma people who are still alive, and him people who have died. He wouldn't see the ghosts if it was just necromancy, so he's probably mainly meant to help people, "heal" their sorrows so they can move on and not decay on earth until they're just raging shells of themselves...

Also something that he hasn't let himself think about too much is that he can't really be Death, because he can't kill people (not more than any other human beings, I mean 😅) the only thing he can do is see and hear ghosts, passively (at least for now) bring them back to life, and not die (which he doesn't really know in the start, just has suspicions)

So since they mostly so the same kind of work (help people), there's not really much balance going on, not between them at least. The balance is within himself, basically he can resurrect people, but he can't die himself but his body will eventually decompose with age, which means he'll always stay here, even after he's dust, as a ghost forever. He pays his own price basically.

I really liked your rant lol it was so great it even gave me an idea that I unfortunately can't talk about because it's the resolution of the whole fic lmaooo I hope I can finish the fic quickly so I can talk about it, it made me gasp outloud!

But for the necromancer au do you think Soap ever thought he was hallucinating instead of seeing the dead? Or was it something past down in the family? Cause honestly I can imagine the grandma (same on as the werewolf and cat Soap au cause why not?) had passed it down to Soap, like a recessive trait thing? Or maybe is it a religion thing? Or was it some accident that caused it? I don’t know I just think it is interesting :)

He didn't initially think he was hallucinating because he was born with it so it was normal for him, but it wasn't long before he found out that it was not normal and he was the only one who could see ghosts.

It does come from his family but not from his grandma, it's wayyy older than that! But this is venturing a little too far into the spoilers zone lmao I am however willing to spoil the first chapter, basically in this au his family is him, his mother and his sister, and both women can heal the people they touch, his Ma is the village's wise woman, people pay her to massage them and it takes their pain away, and his sister is an old people's nurse (I forgot what they're called lmao), and they don't know about Soap's gift, they think he's like their dad, normal (their dad died when Soap was 4, he was in the army, which is why Soap enrolled as well, to try and have a connection with his dad (he wasn't a ghost))

They don't know because Soap thinks it's bad that he can see ghosts and that it will disappoint them (it wouldn't), because when he was young, when his grandma was still alive, she told him that too much good would upset the balance of the world and so it needs some bad, and he took it as "my Ma and sister are too much good, I'm the bad that balances them" (it wasn't what his grandma meant, they were talking about a fantasy book)

Though one could say that necromancy is slightly delayed healing, so it's kind of the same gift as his family! (he doesn't know that it's necromancy yet though, so far all he knows is that he can see ghosts)
