im emotional thinking about nathan surviving the storm and leaving his shitty home and working on rebuilding the diner and becoming The Next Joyce and working there and taking care of people because hes terrified of going back to photography but he does finally go to therapy and he makes friends with everyone and he tries so damn hard to work through his anger issues and trauma and GODS, FUCK, i want redemption and healing for nathan so goddamned bad why do game devs gotta treat us mentally ill/traumatized biches like this

Warren tried to be a good boyfriend. He did everything he knew boyfriends were supposed to do; he arranged surprise romantic picnics, he always kept an eye out for new movie premiers and old movie showings (especially couples’ deals!), he picked up little trinkets and treats as gifts so his partner would know that, even when apart, their relationship was never far from his mind. Warren Graham was a good boyfriend, which any gentleman such as himself could tell you, meant picking up flowers for your special guy.

1 for Nathan

The best way to sooth Nathan is to give him words of encouragement.  Even if he knows what he’s being told are lies or he thinks the person is full of shit, he still eats the words up.  He feels better when he knows someone is actually listening to him and validating or at least acknowledging his feelings.  He also finds physical affection comforting, but only if he completely trusts the person or has no reason to view them as a threat or something.
