It's so weird talking to people who's view of "here's the way life is for everyone" is shattered as soon as they talk to someone with disabilities (physical, mental illness, any). Like you'll say you'll have a problem and instead of helping you they'll argue with you about how you're not actually facing that problem. Like,
Me: Hey, I'm really struggling to find a job and a part of it is my resume. I was depressed & psychotic during highschool so I didn't do anything to gain skills or achievements to put on my resume. I also don't have anyone to put as a reference. What can I do?
Them: You can add your skills, hobbies, clubs you're in, and different volunteer work you've done! You can also get your teacher as a reference.
Me: I already know what to put on a resume, my issue is that I don't have things that I can use. Also, I'm in my mid 20s so I don't know if I can put my highschool teacher as a reference.
Them: Well if you're a part of a church or an activity group, you could add that. Also, think of any projects you've worked on in the past.
Me: I already know you can put these things on a resume. I'm not looking for suggests of things I've already done, I'm looking for what I can do now if I haven't done anything.
Them: There's no way you didn't do anything during highschool?? What about some odd jobs you definitely did for extra money, like babysitting or mowing the lawn?
Me: I spent all of highschool either in modified classes or in bed doing nothing - not even hobbies, what about that do you not understand?
And then you talk to someone who's also disabled and they're like "Here's a bunch of jobs you can do from home that don't pay much but look good on a resume, here's some free online courses that also look good on a resume, here's how you can be making small amounts of money in the meantime, here's some things you can put besides a professional reference, and here are your rights if your future employer tries to take advantage of your disability - which you probably shouldn't tell them about unless you need accommodations."
And suddenly my will to continue trying returns!

Yeah, I always thought this was weird and poorly thought through for the same reasons. Especially because I’m an identical twin myself. Like, I love my twin, but I wouldn’t want to have to pretend to be her for the rest of my life. I would like to be my own person, thanks. Idk, I feel like it just weirded me out more/made me feel uncomfortable being an identical twin myself. Also I would like to say that I do play ND games with my sister(we started when we were 9), and she was also like, “WTF?” when we discovered Kim’s secret room.

Except yourselves! Which one of you is going to get the credits when you go to college?! Or the degree in college?! ARE YOU GOING TO SPLIT THE JOB TOO?!?!
This just doesn’t seem well thought through.

I have read this book and the only thing it has in common with the game is that they are both set in Scotland.
Have you read...

Peek-a-floof, pufflings!
We’re egg-cited to welcome the newest additions to our tufted puffin colony! These two fluffy puffin chicks (a.k.a. pufflings!) recently hatched here as part of a Species Survival Plan managed by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that oversees the health and breeding of nearly 200 tufted puffins across 15 zoos and aquariums.
The adorable, fuzzy voids will grow up on exhibit, assisted by our un-beak-lievable aviculture and veterinary teams. You can peek at these precious pufflings among the diving birds in the Open Sea. It might be a little hard to spot them inside their burrows and they’ll be heading behind the scenes for a little while soon.  But don’t worry! They’ll be back on exhibit once they’re fully fledged.
Chick #2’s name is… Yuzu! But we need your kelp naming Chick #1! Our animal care team has picked three options and we’re asking YOU to help us choose the perfect name by voting in the poll! ⬇️

We just want to put these on your ray-dar 😉
Bat rays call coral reefs, kelp forests, and sandy-bottom bays their home. One of these habitats is our very own local wetland, the Elkhorn Slough–home to southern sea otters, thousands of migratory birds, and an important nursery and feeding grounds for bat rays.
By raising awareness of these animals, voting, and letting our elected leaders at the local, state, and federal levels know we support legislation that protects these ecosystems, we can ensure that bat rays continue to thrive in their environment.

THE BOOKS THE GAMES ARE BASED ON In celebration of HerInteractive revealing which book SPY was loosely based off, I have compiled a list of the games and their respective books that they’re based on. Some books have multiple circulating covers so I included a few here. Hope you guys enjoy this! :)

@fobwillbethedeathofme Just wanted to say that in The Mystery of the Brass Bound Trunk(the book where Nancy is on a cruise), the bad guys literally try to kill Nancy by throwing her overboard!
Here’s the post for context.

I voted for Camp Counselor Nancy as I think that sounds fun.
Also there is a Circus Nancy book (The Ringmaster’s Secret) and a Cruise Nancy book (The Mystery of the Brass-Bound Trunk) in the original series. So in theory they could make games based off of each of those books.
Here’s the post for context.
