#this article about drafting up a comic pitch was basically just like ‘lol don’t’#😑#but reading yeah I neeed to do a well formatted script#copy and pasting the dialogue has proved to be a bitch that I can either finish today or tomorrow#*or rather . tomorrow/the day after whatever#and then it’s filling in the blanks . so basically doing my outline over again 😓#but when I have all of That I can submit to the editor#idk man... I know you don’t have to have an artist when submitting a pitch but it feels like I’m at a disadvantage without one#my only potentional leg up is my CEO’s wife being an established author but idk what she can do for me#I’ll only find out with a finished pitch in hand though so. even if I feel discouraged I’ll force myself to get to that point#whew..

#i can logically divide the chapters into 4 separate books and the page average for them is still a good amount#which means then technically i have an entire script written out for the first book -- it's a matter of writing it in script form#and i have easy full summaries of book one -- though i know that needs to be completed in full#but now this is looking doable. made good progress tonight#im just happy i can change how some of the characters look and give them distinct races#changing zelda and link now luke and zoe to be desi and then samus and cloud now sarah and cameron to chinese#just trying to reflect the demographics of my own high school where 3/4s of my friendgroup was indian#and made the robin twins now#damini and riaan both indian too so i can have a full spectrum of characters#whew!!#enough word barf happy to have this cozy space back to organize my thoughts

#i think im giving too much information for this summary ugh#idk#it's like. beat for beat me explaining but without dialogue#ive had issue writing summaries in the past and not making it concise at all#This is easier than writing a script though#so it's useful to do. but i think once it's done i'll then have to take This and condense it again#and then i should really have a script typed up for all 292 pages ive drawn so far#not quite sure how to elaborate on camera angles at all or whether that's even necessary#idk... IDK! i might be able to get away with using that as a 'full' script if i divide everything into three novels. i think 2#would be better#ugh. i need to take a shower
