You have two brothers who are twins but one of them dies during the 80's and the other opens a shop somewhere in Oregon (you think that it's uncharacteristic of him, but you don't question it bc he might be grieving). Then 30 something years pass and you find out that hey, turns out, both of your brothers are alive, and the one you thought was dead had actually faked his death and took his twin's identity, while said twin you thought was here the whole time actually wasn't was apparently stuck traveling through dimensions during this whole time.
