I go by multiple names. Nightmare, Eadin, but mostly Lumi nowadays! (Honestly depends what I am gaming on at the time). My Operator is Anneliese and My Drifter is Launey.

2. My step-dad played the early version of Warframe when it first was open to play on Steam. We then both played it when getting PS4s in 2014. It is such a unique game in the sense of it's flow alone haven't personally found another 3rd person game that scratches the same itch as Warframe.

3. I have had so many favorites. My oldest is Frost. Loved his play style as it was simple, at the time essential (2014-15 T4 defense baybee), and just solid overall. Nowadays though I would say my favorite frame would have to be either Harrow, Nova, or Yareli as I keep coming back to them even in high difficulty missions.

With Frost I use to joke about having 8 forma frost and not needing the prime (This was before Primes got stat buffs.) and I had forma'd away both of the slots for freeze and ice wave (I did this back when Ability mod cards were required to case the ability)

4. I occasionally make art (on this blog) of my Operator and Drifter as seeing them as true ocs has just made me fall in love with ideas behind the characters.

5. Most definitely as Anneliese (Operator) is essentially me back when I was in middle school and Launey is basically me now vibes wise. I imagine Anneliese would be confused and Launey would be the typical "Oh, cool." kind of reaction.

6. Whispers in the Wall and 1999 are probably my favorite in recent years as I love this new era of Entrati stuff and the designs that come from it. Gameplay wise though Duviri hands down. I don't play it as much now but SP Circuit is such a great time killer.

7. I have been part of 2. Deadlock was my first one but we more or less disbanded years ago. My current one is Starshatter (Only named that because Stardust gets flagged by Warframe's name censor.) Both are/were just groups of friends.

8. Recently I have played Pokemon Xenoverse but my go-to has to be Age of Wonders (4 or Planetfall depending on what I am feeling), Helldivers 2, and Monster Train. If you like card battler Rogue-lites, play Monster Train.

9. Primary: Lanka. I am a sucker for snipers but 6 forma Lanka has been my beloved on 2 different accounts.

Secondary: Tenet Diplos. I love a good set of dual pistols and am a such for Corpus aesthetics (Especially the newer Parvos stuff.) The Diplos I tried so hard to make work but now are my go to with Pistol Acuity from '99.

Melee: I have alot of favorite melees so If I had to pick one.

10. Considering we already have a Proto-Frost I would love to see a Proto-Lavos. I have actually been writing my own Protoframe group that has a Lavos protoframe that thematically acts like a rival to Lettie. He is a practitioner of mysticism and alchemy but also an accomplished doctor.

Anneliese would because she is reserved but has a limit.

Random thought popped up in my head as I was doing the last one. I thought, hmm, I like doing the bonus questions for the players, so why not do a full set for the people who graciously do my silly questions. Feel free to answer em all.

Launey romanced Amir. Those two are perfect for each being the rambling motor mouths who feed into one another.

Makes some coffee at her little work area near the atomicycle, spends some morning time with Amir before going into the city for some miscellaneous missions. Always goes to Lettie for where to steal coffee rations from the Scaldra.

Launey has a habit of losing her stuff from leaving it scattered throughout wherever in the mall. Leading to her getting into arguments over the whereabouts.

Anneliese (My Operator) is completely different from Launey. Amir meeting her would be a mess because Anneliese spooks easily just like Amir but has a habit of unintentionally sneaking up on people due to being extremely quiet. It would be a weird back and forth of sneak, spook, repeat.

I think so. Launey would be an arcade rat. Challenging Amir to a fighting game every now and again.

Launey feeds into Amir's nicknames to the point they get more and more ridiculous only to confuse the rest of the Hex and Roundtable.

They play arcade games together. Launey also helps Amir make props and other stuff for his Fables and Frontiers campaigns.

They make sure each other stay hydrated and well fed. Launey especially shows her affection by allowing Amir to tinker with her in progress projects.

10 Headcanon Questions for your Drifter: Relationship Version!

That's right, wow I can't believe it took me this long to consider making one of these haha.

Now, I'm not gonna limit you folks on just the Hex. It can be anyone from the Sol system who is a consenting adult or the folks from the Roundtable who is a consenting adult (because this is a Headcanon/character building question and not limited to canon)

1. Who did you romance? (Also since there are people who do throuples and poly romances you can list em out here) Why did your Drifter connect with them on a deeper level?

2. What does their day to day schedule looks like for them?

3. What are the things that cause an argument, including pet peeves?

4. Have they had any serious fights? If they don't, then this doesn't apply and you can answer the alternative question (Those who answered 4 can also answer the alternative question too, it's an optional)

Refining my Proto-Mesa design.

Added Techrot covered hands and Mesa's peacemakers growing out of the arms.

This was a good way to practice drawing textured hair

Doodle of a Mesa Protoframe.

Drew over Mesa's silouhette considering the new protos in Temple and their group aren't just the warframes with different head but they work clothes into the overall design while maintaining the silhouette.

The outfit was based on the idea of "What if Mesa but 90's punk in a Zombie Movie".

Techrot is constantly creeping up her arms and legs which is why there are tourniquets made from yellow cloth on the arms.

Designed a Tenet / Parvosian style Lanka for myself because it has been my favorite weapon in Warframe since I first built it in game back in 2015.

Spent some time in Clip Studio Paint editing the original png of the Lanka to add on elements such as the extending handguard so it could fit into the briefcase transformations like the Tenet Envoy, Diplos, or Grigori.

Had a lot of fun designing this. Meant to only spend 1 or 2 hours working on it but I was enjoying the workflow of it enough that I spent nearly 6 hours on it altogether.

Including my original notebook sketch for convenience's sake. (Plus I just like to share bits from the sketching stage of my art).

Drawing of my Spider-man oc, Wasp Spider.

VERY heavily influenced by Spiderverse Prowler as I used the Making of Spiderverse artbook for help on some posing.

Sketched with Light grey marker, Inked with Dip Pen, and then colored with Crayola Colored pencils. Pleasantly surprised with the outcome as I haven't used Colored Pencil in my art actively in many years.

On top of that, finally got my scanner working so I do not have to contend with my phone or tablet camera for getting clear images of my work.

Doodling how my Operator Anneliese would have turned out if she never had her clanmates or other Tenno to brink her back from the brink when she experienced the trauma of losing the Lotus to Ballas back when the Apostasy Prologue. first occured. (A what if they never received the much needed emotional healing started by bonding with Umbra and meeting the Drifter, or even minor things like meeting the people of Fortuna.)

Anneliese would fall to Parvos Granum's influence upon his re-emergence brought on by other Tenno. This would be do to her affinity for Corpus techbology and Parvos' potential promise of granted unrestricted access to such.

Anneliese's innate transference that leads her to take on the aspects of her frames rather than fully controlling them would become unstable to the point she would only be able to manifest one remaining trait from her connection. Limbo's ability to enter and exit the Rift. This would lead to her be seen as a valuable asset for Granum's new regime within the Corpus.

Indoctrinated as a Corpus debt collector until eventually gaining enough renown to rise to the rank of Sister after the formation of the sisterhood. Upon her ascension to Sister, Anneliese was granted the position of Departmental Head of Debt Collection and Internal Auditing. (She in reality is a glorified corporate assassin).

She wields a custom built Tenet Lanka installed with the Granum Attaché system present in most unique Parvosian equipment.

For my Drifter Launey...

1. Either 90s Coffee (Instead of what would be considered a caffinated beverage in the Origin System.) OR Chocolate, specifically a high percentage Dark Chocolate considering Hollvania is in Other Earth Europe.

2. Launey has gotten one level deep into Caliber Chicks and probably would only get further if they were able to play with Amir or have him in the room when they do.

3. The Wheel of Fortune

4. I feel they are a hodgepodge of what they wear in the Origin System and 90s fashion. Rocking Syandanas and Armor on top of a cardigan and jeans with an armored neck piece from the base Drifter Hood. Launey most definately discovers Scarves and nabs as many as they can.

5. Launey would dive head first into doing it again after maybe moping for a day or to.

6. They would definately have popcorn at the ready seeing Amir and Aoi argue or mess with one another.

7. Atomicycle. Launey nicknames their bike "Kalibak II" after Kalibak, their Kaithe in Duviri.

8. The Tammpet sugatra and the Frame Friend (The Tennogen ear piece that looks like an old school Digimon v-pet).

9. Launey would absolutely gush about Ticker and the rest of Fortuna's view of Logical vs. Biological family to the Hex. They absolutely sound like a teacher lecturing people about tradition. With their partner Amir they spend time relaxing on the couch with drinks and snacks planning out Fables and Frontiers campaigns together, just talking and writing for hours.

10. The civilians see Launey as a friendly face. The same way you would look at a mechanic or local artist you see vibing in places like coffee shops or food courts when they aren't working on a project.

Quick drawing of my spidersona I made back when Across the Spiderverse came out. This was hammered out while I was chatting with some friends after our game night ended. The angle I got the photo from isn't the greatest but my process usually starts Traditional then I do digital coloring and touch-up in Clip Studio Paint.

The design in the center is a custom outfit I based on details such as an Entrati-esque jacket (Due to a love of the Entrati labs I wrote into her story.), the Loneryder gloves (I am sucker for the studded knuckles), and pants to match the jacket.

The one in the lower right was just a warm-up sketch.

My Drifter, Launey.

I designed her to be more of a sibling rather than just an older version of my Operator, Anneliese.

Lacking the traumatizing event that led to Anneliese's exhausted appearance. Launey's hair is more well-kept, lacks both the somatics and scarring.

I stylized her eyes to come off as more rounded than the jagged look I gave my operator.

The hair is intended to look as if is thick yet brushed/combed back.

My Warframe Operator, Anneliese.

Her design is pretty heavily influenced by a 5 year long break I took from the game. Working this into her backstory was a great baseline as the last thing I played before that long break was the Apostasy Prologue so Anneliese was traumatized by the loss of Lotus and nearly going catatonic, but now (after my return to the game) she is just simply an Operator who has not had a good night's sleep in years. That trauma led to design elements such as the tired idle expression & messy hair being held back by a metal latch. Working in elements such as her lightning shaped Void scar and the mechanical hair clip. Below are screenshots of Anneliese In-game that I used as initial reference as I modified her design into something a bit more unique.
