the 3d is your friend, not your enemy

In some of my posts i usually talk about 'ignoring the 3D' but i recently found a discovery which changed that perspective.
The 3d (the physical realm) is a reflection of our current state. If you want to shift realities you want the confirmation that you have shifted:
- opening your eyes in your dr bedroom
- smelling your dr pillow
- getting woken up by your partner etc etc.
so the idea of having to ignore' your 3d can contradict what we want which is having physical access to your desired reality. so, instead of making the 3d your enemy, be its friend.
shifting is deciding that you are already in your desired reality and not letting circumstances in the physical realm influence that decision.
an analogy: when you rewatch a movie you already know what the ending is. no matter what happens in this movie, the ending will NEVER change.
when you decided that you have shifted and something happens in the 3D, allow yourself to react to this thing but keep in mind that you have already shifted and this circumstance will not influence this decision.
credit to @imeowandbark their comment helped me a lot 💕

time ratios aren’t needed, because time doesn’t exist :

"the natural view confines reality to the moment called now. to the natural view, the past and future are purely imaginary.” - neville goddard
an explanation of why time ratios don’t matter, why time itself doesn’t really exist + what it means to focus on the present moment, aka “the now.”
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
most of us tend to have some kind of wake-up scenario for our dr. it might be detailed, with you knowing what day it is, what you smell and feel, who you’re with, etc. or it could be more vague, with just a location in mind and the assumption that you will become aware of your presence in it. either way, there is a singular moment that you are to some degree visualizing and affirming what it is like to be present there. when you shift to your dr, you are shifting your consciousness to the present moment of that particular reality.
and if / when you decide to shift back to the reality you’d been in prior, you are also shifting to the present moment. and what’s crazy is that you were never out of the present moment to begin with. this is why you don’t need a time ratio.
it’s not necessary to overcomplicate the process by trying to equate the time you’re not present in your original reality with how long you plan to be in your dr for. you’re able to get rid of all of that hassle by just choosing the particular moment that you want to “go back to,” and then you’ll be there. this way, there’s no need to worry about “what your clone’s done” (even though that version of you would act how you normally do), because you are able to shift to a moment where you’re waking up in your cr without having done anything other than sleep (or back to doing whatever you were right before shifting).
what you experience in “the now” is a result of the reality you create in the 4d. the past and future do not exist, as true reality is what is affirmed in the 4d, and then reflected in the 3d. it’s a case of the mind shifting first, and then our senses adapting. so yes, in a way we are experiencing our past assumptions on a physical level, but our minds are always what dictate “the now,” which according to loa is always eventually experienced in the 3d. so what you are only ever experiencing is the present moment you affirmed to be true in the 4d. and this reflection becomes more seamless (the manifestation arrives quicker) when one’s assumption is more stronger and sustained.
the idea of time not existing can be difficult to understand because of things that serve to “prove” the passage of time, like how the sun rises and sets every 24 hours, how we celebrate birthdays every 365 days, etc. and it would be silly to say that those things do not occur. but it’s important to circle back to the fact that time was not discovered but rather created by humans to add a level of practicality to life. birthdays only exist because humans decided that they do when the earth makes a full orbit around the sun. days and minutes and seconds were created to add a kind of structure for day to day life, and just happen to be marked by dusk and dawn. and yet, these aspects do not define how one manifests things into their life.
this brings us back to the concept of “i am.” it’s never “i was” or “i will be” for a reason. because the present, “the now,” is all that needs to be focused on. and the slight subtly in affirming that you will have something vs. that you do have something is that there is a level of uncertainty to the “will” that the “do” cancels out. you are fully certain that you do shift when you plan to, because it has already happened in your mind.
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
i’m not gonna lie, understanding this took me a *minute* lol- but a particular post on the neville goddard subreddit (linked below) is what really helped me grasp this concept. it’s tricky to explain because the idea of time has been so ingrained into our minds that the possibility of it not existing is hard to comprehend, but i tried my best to explain it. the shift in perspective after getting it really helps with the ease of trusting in your mind’s abilities.
one quote from the post that i love is, when referencing the invention of time, “. . .it's not like this 'time' doesn't exist. . .but you don't operate in your mind based on these confines anymore. the very nature of your Being is timeless.” in other words, time is just another limit that should be disregarded. only the rules you make are what matter.
as always, if you have any questions my “ask me anything” is always open!

things i’ve learned as a shifter who has shifted both awake and asleep
(if you know you know)
everything is up to you, therefore you determine if you shift or not
a lot of people back out if they’re scared. use your fear as an affirmation of you actually being there, use it to ground yourself. you are perfectly capable of shifting, despite the feeling of fear. you will shift and it may be scary, use it as a tool to keep you there
in my experience, i’ve felt things when i shift. i also have not felt anything change and still shifted. it can be both. yes you don’t need “symptoms”, but you can still feel things.
that being said, you don’t need to feel anything or everything to shift.
if you believe something, it will happen. if you think something won’t work, it won’t work!
shifting is instant, you can be in any reality at any moment! time is fake!!
using methods is not completely useless, they may not work for you and you should do things that feel right for you but being completely against tools that can help is like going backwards instead of forward.
at the end of the day, shifting is up to you.
nobody can make you shift but yourself, and there are a bunch of tools out there for you to use. the best and the biggest tool is you.
divider can be found here.
i was also told it would be funny if i shared that i shifted in the shower butt ass naked and wide awake before so take that as u will

perfection can keep you from persisting :

“once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” -ralph waldo emerson
some motivation for any perfectionists / over-thinkers!
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
this kind of ties into one of my other posts about embracing the parts of shifting that we don’t understand. we can’t really grasp the “how” of it all- and by that i mean how exactly our thoughts reflect from the 4d and manifest in the physical plane.
and what’s really nice is that we don’t have to worry about how it all works. in fact, not worrying about how it happens is what allows the manifestation to occur.
before i learned about loa, i had a blockage regarding the logistics of my dr. i was stressed out about my backstory making sense, or about accidentally creating a butterfly effect that would make things end up not going the way i wanted them to. i thought that i had to script everything to be “perfect.” i thought i had to have it all planned out and control every little aspect in order to make sure nothing occurred that i didn’t want to in my dr. and in doing that, i was holding myself back.
there’s an element of trust one must place in the universe in order to let things happen. when one is constantly obsessing over how it’ll all work out, it doesn’t, because that questioning and distrust is breaking the persistence part of loa.
the “how” is doing all of the heavy lifting. the “how” is adjusting the logic of your dr to make it make sense and have it be natural. the “how” does it all for you. you don’t need to stress yourself out by trying to do all of this yourself.
this is why that one woman on shifttok frustrated me when she talked about how if you script that you have no body hair and don’t sweat, that means you’ll have some sort of disease that causes those things. when that video came out, i was just staring to study loa, and i knew immediately that she didn’t understand what she was talking about.
the universe isn’t plotting against you like that. there’s no “careful what you wish for” moment when it comes to scripting different aspects about your dr and dr self. if you script something like that out of conveniency’s sake, your subconscious understands that and the logic of your dr is going to change to make the fact that you don’t have body hair or sweat perfectly normal for you. how? we don’t have to know, and it literally does not matter. a hogwarts dr is a great example of this. that reality contains magic that goes against our cr's biology and the law of gravity (mythical creatures, potions, levitation, etc.) and yet the reality doesn’t descend into chaos with all of these crazy consequences, because the logic of that reality is set in a way where the creatures and potions and floating objects make sense.
anyways, that woman’s take is what i’m talking about with the over-thinker, butterfly effect, distrusting mindset. you do not need to consider the consequences for things you script that are like that. if you believe that you will be fine and safe and healthy with new characteristics, then you will be fine and safe and healthy.
i’ll always say this (and i don’t care if people get annoyed because repetition is important for the subconscious!!) as long as you stay truly grounded and persistent in your assumption, it will always manifest. and in order to do that, you have to trust that what you want to receive will work out in your favor, and trust that you don’t have to worry about controlling every little aspect to make changes seem understandable. that is the “how” / universe’s job.
give up some control to the universe, and that’s when it’ll happen. maybe it’ll make sense how it happened after the fact, and maybe it won’t. but either way, you got what you wanted!
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
as a control freak, i’ve found a lot of relief in giving up some control to the universe lol- in my experience it’s really quickened my manifestations and just made the process much easier. since the universe is a part of you, it is always working in your favor. 𝜗𝜚

loa is not a method, it is the structure :

“if you assume success and persist in that assumption, you cannot fail. that is the law.” -neville goddard
i haven’t seen any posts on here that label loa as a method (it’s more of a shifttok thing), but i think it’s important to make this clear for people who are learning about what loa is because i also misunderstood this at first.
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
the law of assumption is not a method. it is a law that provides the structure for all methods.
this is why we say that you don’t need a method to shift, you just have to follow the law. methods are basically strategies that organize different aspects of the law of assumption and place emphasis on specific parts of it. essentially, the law of assumption is the cake and methods are the frosting and sprinkles.
and methods are great! they’re able to add onto the basic assumption and persistence of “i am shifting,” “i have shifted,” etc. with something that caters to a specific struggle one might have.
for example, if one has trouble with grounding themselves in their dr, the five senses method is worth trying because it focuses especially on grounding through senses. if one has issues with wandering thoughts, the adhd method could help to keep them focused and on track with affirmations. and there’s the julia method, which in my opinion is a method that is as close to just following the law itself as you can get, because all you’re doing is repeating “i am,” and affirmations about your dr self, which really helps with getting in touch with the 4d, as well as grounding in your dr.
the list goes on and on, but at the center of each method is the use of your imagination and beliefs to keep that strength in your assumption. even the good old raven method comes down to that internal repetition and how it translates from the 4d to 3d.
so that’s just something to keep in mind, is that methods are a specific application of loa, which is why you don’t need one to shift. but they also are helpful tools that you shouldn’t keep yourself from trying if you think they’ll work for you. i’m sure you’ve heard this a thousand times, but shifting is all about what you gravitate towards most as an individual. and if what you feel pulled to do is with or without a method, that’s great! whatever you think will connect you most to your dr self / headspace in particular is best.
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
by the way, if you truly persist in the fact that a particular method will help you shift, it will. once again, it's not necessary to do so, buttt...
*cough, cough* remember you can apply loa to literally anything, like how you view methods. and the law will never fail you. *cough, cough* 𝜗𝜚

wishing vs. believing :

“you must assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled until your assumption has all the sensory vividness of reality.” - neville goddard
explaining "the state of the wish fulfilled."
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — — when discussing loa, the phrase “the state of the wish fulfilled” is often brought up. it is important to understand the meaning of this piece of the law, because i think the wording of it can get misinterpreted.
remember that when regarding this state, you are not in a state of “wishing” for something to happen, but rather persisting in the fact that your wish has already been granted. the “fulfilled” part of “wish fulfilled” is crucial. there is no wishing or hoping or longing to be had, because you already have what you were wishing for. you are fulfilled and satisfied because you got what you wanted.
for instance, it wouldn’t make sense for one who wanted an apple to continue to wish for an apple when one is already in their hands. instead, one would accept the fact that an apple is sitting in their hands. they would reflect on how happy they are that they have the apple they wished for. they would bask in the feeling of being grateful for the apple and the fact that it was so easy to procure. i’ve seen people use this kind of analogy before, and it’s important to tie back to this concept specifically. the apple is your dr; it is something you do not need to wish for anymore because it is already in your hands. your wish has been granted, even if you haven’t experienced it in the 3d yet.
realizing that fact is honestly worth celebrating- after making the assumption, you already have it. how cool is that?! everything has already been set up for you. all you have to do is persist in that acceptance and decide when to become aware of your dr (going to sleep tonight, doing meditation, taking a nap, etc.)
it’s also worth noting that you don’t have to gaslight or trick your mind into believing an assumption. that way of going about it can work for some, but it is adding another layer of complexity that isn’t necessary. because shifting is real, there’s no trick involved when it comes to believing in it. for example, if you’re hearing noises while becoming aware of your dr, don’t worry about needing to trick yourself into believing that it’s a noise from your dr, because it already is a noise from your dr.
in my opinion, having the belief alone is both simpler and more effective because you don’t have to deal with the extra step of even questioning if the sound is from your cr. there’s nothing you need to translate from one reality to the other because you’re already in your dr. by doing this, you are replacing any kind of confusion or doubt with calm yet complete certainty.
ultimately, just remember that “the state of the wish fulfilled” means that you are basking in the feeling of what it is like now that your wish has come true. you feel gratitude, happiness, satisfaction, acceptance, and completion in this state. and you persist in this feeling even if the 3d shows you otherwise, knowing that it doesn’t matter because you already have exactly what you want.
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
an important side note that i might expand on in another post is to remember that persisting in an assumption doesn’t necessarily mean repeating it over and over again. while repetition can help to strengthen the subconscious, you shouldn’t be doing it while trying to focus on doing tasks in your cr. (that’s why people tell you not to listen to subliminals while driving lol- you don’t want to be disconnecting from your cr unintentionally.)
persistence is all about consistently replacing a doubt with your new assumption. so if you have thoughts like “i’ll never shift,” that is when it's important to reaffirm your correct assumption, which might be, “i have always been shifting,” or “i will shift tonight,” etc. when you’re not having doubts and are confident that your new mindset is strong, you can but do not need to reaffirm, especially if you’re trying to stay grounded in your cr.
as always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask! i’m seeing more people coming over here from tiktok haha- if you’re one of those people, welcome to shiftblr! i’m here to serve you with virtual soup and blankets <33 𝜗𝜚

HEY PLEASE ANSS THIS ..how do I manifest my school dress getting changed ? I don't like our current school dress at all, i wanna change it to a specific one 😭 ASAP 😭 how do I go about that, need help😭 ASAP 😭!!!
weirdly enough, i have a success story related to this specific topic haha- so i'll explain what happened and then how you can recreate it on an intentional level. my high school used to have a very strict dress code at the end of my freshman year when everyone was starting in-person learning again. and i believe that through a kind of accidental, collective manifestation with my classmates, we were able to change the rule to make it basically non-existent. a ton of students at my school were fed up with how restrictive the dress code was, and one girl in particular made a petition to change the rule that so many people signed. it eventually went to the school board, and they ended up basically getting rid of the rule entirely. i remember my mindset at the time was that there was no way the school board wasn't going to listen to us, and i think a lot of my classmates felt the same way. we were so convinced that the rule would change that it did, because we truly believed in our assumption and persisted in it. and i think because so many people were thinking this way at the same time, it manifested ten fold from us having a strict dress code to none at all. this was all before how i knew manifesting worked, but it still happened because the law of assumption works even when people don't know about it. that's why i say it was "accidental," because i doubt any of the people in my school were super big on manifestation, but us collectively holding the mindset that the dress code would be changed led to it getting changed. our collective, persistent assumption manifested into the 3d. and you can do the same! whether it be on your own or with classmates that feel similarly:
affirm that the changes you want made to the dress code will be implemented. there is no way that it will not happen. - you can manifest a possible solution (like someone making an effective petition) or not worry about how it will be solved but just affirm that it will be solved, because that's really all you need to do.
think about how happy you'll be once it's been changed, allow yourself to sit in that feeling of happiness and gratitude! this is what we call the "wish fulfilled" state in the loa. - you can say affirmations like, "i'm so glad the dress code got changed!" or "i'm so grateful that i get to wear what i want to school now!"
remember to not let the 3d discourage you. even if the rule isn't changed immediately, that does not mean that it hasn't manifested. there's just a delay in the reflection from the 4d to 3d. - you must remember that the change is already yours; it has already happened and will reflect in the 3d. - that also means you shouldn't dress to break the rule if it's still set in place tho lol- just don't let the fact that it might not have changed yet interfere with your ability to keep persisting in the fact that it will. because it will change, as long as you truly do believe in that fact.

embracing the unknown :

“jump head on, into the abyss. let the universe catch you and take you where you’re meant to go.” -esther t.
possible blockage identification + motivation!
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
shifting is a concept that you shouldn’t blame yourself for not understanding at first. i mean, it goes against everything that most people have been taught when it comes to how we perceive things and generally how our minds work. it literally unlocks a whole other part of yourself that seems too good to be true. it’s like this element of magic that has been added into your life.
obviously, now you know that shifting is very much a real thing, that you have participated in it during every second of every day before you even became aware of it. your inner thoughts and feelings form the physical plane that your body experiences. you are constantly shifting, constantly assuming things about your reality (on a conscious and subconscious level) that make it manifest into exactly what you physically perceive. you are fully aware that you have the power to change how you experience things, just by changing your assumptions and persisting in them without doubting yourself. it really is that simple!
i’ve seen a few posts on here about how some may have a fear of shifting- it totally makes sense for one to be afraid that they won’t make it, or afraid that they will make it. but there’s also another fear that one might come across, one that might have slipped into their subconscious without realizing it.
humans often fear what they do not understand.
it’s a trait that ultimately has to do with our survival instincts. things that are not familiar to us can be viewed by our animal brains as dangerous and something we need to avoid. that behavior can present itself in a range of different ways, from screaming and running away from a person dressed as a zombie in a haunted house, to avoiding a person who says things you disagree with, to fearing a concept subconsciously because it lacks “important” information.
and that’s not to say that we always immediately reject something that is unusual to us. in fact, we can also often be allured by the novel, becoming curious about it and wanting to learn more because of the fact that it is different.
i think that many of us can / have experienced a combination of these feelings with shifting. i know i have. we are so drawn in by this concept, willing to put time and effort into it to study the laws and practices and philosophy of it all. and yet, there will always be parts of shifting that we cannot fully grasp.
you have to learn that it is okay to not know everything. you have to learn to place trust into the unknown.
and that can be hard! because why would you trust in something you don’t fully understand? but what i’ve realized is that those who are willing to dive into it headfirst, placing trust in the shift without any knowledge about it, are often the ones who succeed fastest. that’s why all of those people back in 2020 shifted within two weeks of learning about it- they didn’t give themselves time to question how it all works, they just did it. they didn't have to know about loa or inducing pure consciousness or the 3d or 4d or any of that. they weren’t afraid to literally just go for it, with likely some vague (if any) visualization and no other expectation than, “i’ll wake up at hogwarts tomorrow, why not?” they spent time doing instead of thinking about doing. that is how real progress is made.
and once again, that’s not to say that you shouldn’t keep yourself from learning if you want to learn. you can and probably should take some time to find out what works for you as an individual because shifting is so incredibly personal. i took the time to learn about loa, to gain some basic knowledge about it (+ a little more because i find it interesting haha) and it completely changed my mindset. but you also have to remember that you’ll never learn how to ride a bike if you only read books about riding a bike. some pre-existing knowledge about bike riding doesn't hurt to have, but in order to actually ride the bike, you have to grasp the handlebars, place your feet on the pedals, and go for it- even if you’re a little scared, even if you might have some unanswered questions.
i promise you that even though there are parts of shifting that we can’t explain, it doesn’t matter. you are able to shift without understanding it all. you are able to shift because of the fact that you trust both in the strategy that you do know (loa) and the “how” of it all that we aren’t able to fully grasp.
anyways, all of this is to say- channel your inner elsa. let yourself use a combination of your own ice power (loa, 4d) and that mysterious voice (the “how”) to guide you to your desired reality.
some affirmations you can use to strengthen your relationship with the unknown :
i shift despite not knowing exactly how it works
i shift without knowing all of the answers
i am happy to place trust in the unknown
i understand that the unknown is here to help me
the unknown and i work together
i am grateful to the unknown
i shift even if i don’t fully understand the “how”
i shift as a result of fully believing in my assumptions and trusting the process
if you think this might be a blockage for you, you know the drill. repeat these (or just keep a mindset related to the affs.) and you’ll reprogram your subconscious to understand that there is nothing to be afraid of or confused by. you have everything you need to do this, and it’s all working in your favor, even the parts that you don’t understand!
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
i’ve typed the word “unknown” so much that i can’t help but think of the original character from that cursed willy wonka experience-
“what is that…it's the unknown! :,0” (pls tell me you get the reference lmao)
except in this instance, we are not going to be the kid that cries right after. we’re gonna be the child that runs up to the unknown and gives it a hug and sees that it’s not a bad guy after all!
if you have any questions, feel free to submit them in the “ask me anything” section. i’m always happy to answer and give advice! :))

goddard - law of assumption lecture notes :

“tonight will be on the law. i think you will find it a very practical evening.”
some notes i took on a lecture straight from the source himself! this is lengthy but worth reading if you want to learn more about loa directly from Neville Goddard, the man who widely taught and coined the term.
✦ a brief prelude :
please keep in mind that you do not have to read this entire post to shift. in the end, it all boils down to one point -
*what you believe wholeheartedly, without question, is what your reality becomes.*
that is all you need to know in order to shift.
this lecture is just an expansion on the idea for those who want to learn more about the details of the Law of Assumption. i’m posting this because i find the study of the loa fascinating, and i think these quotes and takes from Goddard are worth sharing with the community and shifters like me who appreciate an academic breakdown of these concepts.
i’ve tried my best to simplify the language i use to make this easier to digest. it’s a lot of info that i think is all important, but i’ve highlighted the key takeaways if you’re in a tldr mood :))
this lecture directly challenges Christianity. if you are a Christian, these ideas may seem like they go against your belief system. however, it is important to understand that by the nature of the Law of Assumption, if you believe in God, God exists.
the point is that you have the God-like ability to decide and therefore create objective reality through your beliefs, and if that is in Christianity, that is your decision (the same is true for those who practice Buddhism, Hinduism, atheism, agnosticism, general spirituality, etc.)
it is also important to remember that shifting does not go against any religion, and that the ideas surrounding reality shifting are prominent within certain religions.
— — — — — — — — ✿ — — — — — — — —
✦ you have the power of a god :
answering the question of “the cause of the phenomenon of life.”
uses Christianity as a reference / comparison point - likely due to the fact that the audience he was speaking to was predominantly Christian, as the lecture took place in America around the 1950’s in which Protestant Christianity was the most prominent religion at the time, practiced by nearly half of all Americans - provides various lines of scripture from the Bible and breaks down religious language as evidence to his claims (i’m not going to type out every quote, it’s all spoken in the linked video)
asks who is the "one God" that scripture speaks of? - when a Christian is posed with this question, the answer from them would have to do with someone/thing that is external to themself
when posed with the question of who imagination is tied to, the answer has to do with the internal self - “. . .if i spoke of your imagination, i am certain you will think of no one but yourself. could it be that your imagination is the God of scripture?” - cites a particular scripture from the Bible as proof, “‘. . .That I, even I, am He. . .I kill, I make alive. I wound, I heal. And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.’”
references accessing the mental plane (4d) to manifest desires - “Shut your eyes, close your senses completely, and you can reproduce it [your desires] in fancy.”
so, through these points, Goddard is basically stating that you are God. i recognize the magnitude of that statement, it’s lot to take in haha- - but it makes sense! especially in regard to the Law of Assumption. we are the creators of our reality, the “gods” that decide how things go through what we assume about ourselves and the world. - Goddard is very adamant on the idea that you are God, but for those who believe in a higher power, it would make more sense to believe that you are God-like; the concept can change slightly depending on religious beliefs - ultimately, Goddard is making us realize just how much power we wield as shifters / followers of the loa, it is akin to that of a god’s.
✦ your imagination is your reality :
the (mental, 4d) image proceeds the objective fact (the physical, 3d) - “. . .objective reality is purely produced through imagining. . .It is all within us. Our own wonderful human imaginations. . .”
the individual is the cause of the phenomenon of their own life, and possibly the lives of others around them - “You could be, if you are vivid in your imagination, the influence in the imaginations of unnumbered people. . .If they are passive, they fall under your influence. . .those who are not in control of their imagination. . .simply sway from side to side as you in control move them.”
this take reminds me of how anything, from how false narratives created by the media to cult leaders, can literally construct new realities for people who trust in their words. people who are not willing to question the sources they get their information from live in a distorted reality created by a person who tells them what to perceive and believe in. - Goddard goes on to reference dictators as an example of this, “If you can’t do it, and some dictators have tried to do it, they’ll bring in their propaganda machines, and then they try to force Man into a certain shell, into a certain state. And quite often they succeed, up to a point. But you, without the aid of any machine in this world, you can change the structure of your world by the control of your own wonderful human imagination.”
once again, this is a loaded and frankly frightening realization, but it all leads back to the fact that we have access to a power that is incredibly far-reaching and influential. our ability is limitless.
✦ how to use this ability :
Goddard explains how “reason” (the 3d) can initially interfere with one’s assumptions and becoming aware of a desired reality. but as long as one is persistent in their belief, the 3d will change into objective reality. - “You can sit down in this very moment and begin to dream the most glorious dream in the world, concerning yourself. At the moment of the dream, reason denies it, your senses deny it. But if you dare to assume that assumption. . .and persist in that assumption, it will harden into fact.”
defines the Law of Assumption as: If I dare to believe that what I have said will come to pass, and not question it. . .it will come to pass. - “. . .if you really believe it, you can start now—this night—and change the world in which you live. . .What would it be like if it were true? If I am now the man I would like to be, or the woman I’d like to be?”
brings up the importance of once again ignoring the 3d until you have reached your desired reality. - “‘I resolve to be…’ and you name it. Not based upon the evidence of your senses, or what reason dictates, but a wish on your part.” - references Shakespeare quote: “. . .he which is one who wished, until he were. . .I am the man I wanted to be, it began as a wish." - “Your imaginal activity is actually producing objective reality.”
Goddard literally explains that shifting to a different locational desired reality is possible with the following quote: - “Man must be wherever he is in imagination. . .so I will simply imagine myself to be elsewhere, if that’s where I want to be.”
persistence in the belief of the new assumption is key to making it manifest in reality
“It is entirely up to us, what are we going to do with this creative power of the world, when we ourselves are that power?”
✦ conclusion (my additions) :
honestly, it feels a bit egotistical at first when realizing the fact that you have always had a god-like ability, and you’ve never had to work to access it, because the power literally is *you* (well, technically your mind, but ykwim). - the Law of Assumption literally places yourself on the same level as a divine being- it’s insane to try to comprehend that.
but it is true, because you have the power to create- you’ve always had the power to create, and now that you’ve become aware of that, the options on what to create are limitless. - i think that humility is an extremely important trait to maintain regarding the use of loa. it is an honor to be able to know about this ability and the endless possibilities that come with it, and it should be used in a responsible manner.
as long as you are persistent in your assumptions, believing in them no matter what your physical surroundings show, you will find yourself in your desired reality. it really is that simple. again, there are no limits to what you can create.
i feel like this lecture has a “with great power comes great responsibility” vibe to it lol- like especially at the end Goddard is really trusting that we will do good with this information. - i think if he knew that the majority of those on shiftblr are using this knowledge to pursue their passions, experience magic, cuddle with their s/o, and engage in generally positive and fulfilling activities, he’d be proud.

this lecture was great to listen to! the loa is something that i’ve only recently become aware of, and it’s already helped me so much in terms of how i look at and go about the process of shifting. it’s made me realize that it really is that easy.
if you have any questions about these notes / the actual lecture (which i've linked as a content source- lmk if you have trouble accessing it), feel free to ask via the comments or "ask me anything!"

intro / shifting journey backstory :

omgomg shiftblr?! i’m so excited to be here!!
i wanted to write down a brief backstory of what my journey has been like so far both to lay out for myself and anyone else that would like to know!
i first discovered shifting during sept. 2020 shiftok, specifically hp shiftok (the good?? old days haha), and since then i’ve been off and on with my dedication to it throughout the entirety of my high school years. when i first got into the community, i never posted on social media about it but was involved in the community in terms of following and interacting with shifting creators, joining shifting discord servers, etc. from 2020 to ~summer 2022.
from summer 2023 to early fall 2024, i’d honestly lost interest in shifting, as i was quite focused on life in my cr. i was in my senior year, finally finding a sense of self and building healthy friendships, traveling and going to concerts, transitioning to college life, and experiencing a kind of happiness / contentment with my cr that i hadn’t in years.
now, i’m a college freshman (already a semester through too?? crazyy) and i rekindled a passion for shifting in nov. 2024 that is quite reminiscent of how it was when i first got into it all those years ago. except now, i feel more ready than ever to pursue it. i feel that the things i’ve experienced in my cr’s have shaped me into a soul that is more sure of herself, one that is truly motivated to put in the effort to reprogram my mindset and really immerse myself in this practice (while still maintaining a healthy relationship to my cr!)
going into 2025, i’m focused on the process of reprogramming my subconscious, studying the law of assumption (which in less than a month has already helped a ton, i cannot even express) and rebuilding a healthier relationship with shifting that maintains a balance between my cr and dr(s). i want to apply what i’m learning to achieve the goals i have for my cr, and of course become aware of desired realities where i can experience adventure on an entirely different level.
i’m feeling really good about this era of my journey- it feels refreshing and exciting and fun and most importantly, i feel prepared. i think this platform will be a good place to document my progress and to meet new members of the community, so please reach out if you’d like to be mutuals or whatever the tumblr slang is for friends haha!
aaa i feel so giddy right now, it’s great. this is great :,)
okay, that’s all for now!
