Free Palestine - ceasefire now!

There is currently a strike for Palestine taking place from February 18th, 2024, to February 25th, 2024. During this time, I will only be posting about Palestine on this account and doing what I can to spread awareness. If you are able, I highly recommend participating in the strike in whatever way you are able - something is always better than nothing. Staying home from work and/or school, not buying anything that isn't strictly necessary, using your social media platforms only to boost posts about Palestine, etc., are all ways to help the efforts!

bisan has just posted a video that israel has lit up the sky, signalling they will bomb tonight, and that she has nowhere to go. she is in khan yunis--the south, where she was told to go to.

you can hear planes overhead as she speaks.

she wants israel to finally admit the truth--they do not want palestinians to go to "safe" parts of gaza, they want people to leave entirely and recreate the 1948 nakba.

ATTENTION MARVEL FANS!!!

BDS has added a specific MARVEL BOYCOTT because the next Captain America film features “Sabra/Ruth Bat-Seraph”—a character that personified apartheid israel.

This character is known to:

work for mossad

continually talk about her hatred towards palestinians and arabs in the comics

have attacked the hulk for helping a palestinian child (hulk briefly convinced her that palestinians are humans)

have a syrian character (batal) as her antagonist

bear the name of a horrific massacre (the sabra massacre—where pregnant women were murdered and their babies were cut out of their wombs) *i am aware sabra refers to a fruit but let’s be real: it is still connected to a massacre carried out by israeli armed forces on innocent civilians. (here’s a longer statement)

Marvel is complicit in anti-Palestinian racism, israeli propaganda, and the glorification settler-colonial violence. Having this character in a movie by one of the biggest franchises in the world, especially now while there is a genocide going on, is appalling and disgusting. There is no new approach one can take when the character has always been grounded in racism and propaganda.

The motion has already passed the House and now stands before the Senate.

The 4-day-ceasefire signifies not the easing of violence but the calm before the storm. The powers that be show no intent on stopping this genocide and instead want it to go on for another two more months.

Already, the Israeli military have killed more children in under 2 months in Gaza than have been killed in all other major conflict zones in the world COMBINED over the last year.

You always have to believe in Palestinian liberation, because the colonialist world is intent on making you give up. Never ever stop fighting for a free Palestine.
