How He Reacts to Other Men Hitting on You

 Seijoh

 Oikawa

  He’s stepped away for a second. He hasn’t even been away for a full minute yet. But in the same fashion that you get no peace when his fans are around, he gets no peace in any other setting with you. He looks over to where he left you at the bar to find his seat occupied by another man, who by the looks of it was laying in on pretty thick. It wasn’t hard to see you leaning away the closer this man got to you. Oikawa quickly ends the conversation, and heads back to you. The closer he gets the more he can hear the shitty pickup lines coming from this man. 

 “So are you here with someone?”

 Just as you’re about to answer you feel an arm around your shoulder. You look up to see your handsome boyfriend giving this stranger his best smile. 

 “Hello darling, who is this?” There is venom in his words. “My girlfriend has the habit of making friends wherever she goes.” 

 The stranger looks taken aback, and excuses himself shortly after. Oikawa doesn’t leave your side again that night. 

Iwazumi

He’s convinced you to come to the gym with him to keep him company. He’s now fully regretting asking you as he watches a man approach you at the water fountain. He talks to you just a little too long for Iwa’s tastes. He likes to lie to himself and say he’s not the jealous type, but you know better. Especially now that you see him coming up behind the man who has been taking up your time. 

 “Oh! This is my boyfriend!” You tell the other man as Iwa approaches. “Maybe you could talk to him about a good place to start on your weightlifting!”

 Iwa glares down at the new man, very obviously scaring him. The man lets out an awkward laugh and suddenly remembers he had to be anywhere else. Iwa decides that's enough of the gym for the day and takes you home. He wont answer you when you ask what's wrong but you don’t complain since he hasn’t stopped cuddling you.

Hanamaki

  Man is panicking. He saw the guy approach you while you were shopping. He had stopped to look at something a few feet away, and now someone had swooped in on you. He stands there just staring at the two of you for a moment. Wondering if that was a real laugh or a fake one you had just given the stranger. It's not until you look at him making a face and rolling your eyes that he approaches. 

 “Hey baby, are you ready to go?” He approaches. 

 He throws a casual arm over your shoulder like he wasn’t just picturing you dumping him for this guy after a 5 minute conversation. He looks this guy up and down before greeting him like a friend all while holding your hand. 

Matsukawa

 You’re at a house party with him grabbing a drink when this random man approaches you. You make polite conversation trying to cut it short once you grab the drinks and head back to your boyfriend who is just lazing about on the couch. The man that was talking doesn’t seem to know how to read social cues or is just blatantly ignoring them follows you. He's still talking and you try to stay polite answering with a tight smile. You hand a drink to your friend and boyfriend before trying to take a seat still aware of the guy behind you. Before you can walk to your seat you feel a hand on your shoulder. You look back at the man in horror.

 “Hey man don’t touch my girlfriend,” You look over at your boyfriend who is still lounging with a chill expression. 

 “This is your girlfriend?”

 “Yeah man and I don’t want to repeat myself so take your hand off her yeah?” His expression doesn’t change. “Come here baby.”

 You walk over to where he is and he pulls you down to sit in his lap. He doesn’t let you leave his side again that night.

“Come with me.”

Noya had never been one to really think things through, and this was one of those times. You opened your mought but nothing came out. The both of you had just graduated high school. You knew of his plans to leave, but neither of you had discuss you joining him. You felt panic rise up in your chest. You love hime but you weren’t sure if this was the future you saw for yourself.

 “I can’t.”

 That was the day you both went your separate ways. You went on to college and he went to travel the world. You stayed in touch with your mutual friends if only to keep up with Noya’s newest adventure. You were happy for him, but every smiling picture made your heart ache. 

 Most of your friends failed to notice the slight saddness in your eyes, except for Kiyoko and Tanaka. You saw the both of them the most since Kiyoko was your room mate, and Tanaka was constantly visiting her after they reconnected and started dating. They tried to set you up on a few dates, but you just weren’t interested. They weren’t Noya. So they gave up hoping you would move on. 

 A few years later you still weren’t really dating. You blamed your job, but your closer friend’s knew better. You had changed a lot since high school, but you still felt a deep twinge of regret for the way things ended a few years ago. For a long time you pushed the thought back into the deep recesses of your mind. You even went out more at the insistence of your friends. There were still time where you found yourself scrolling through his social media looking at pictures he had posted. If you scrolled far enough you’d see the pictures of the two of you in school together. Babyfaced and full of puppy love. The fact he had kept them here after all that time apart made your heart skip a beat. 

 You sat on your couch staring at the old pictures probably for too long. Definetly too long since you hadn’t even noticed your friends enter your shared apartment. Kiyoko and Tanaka came up behind you ready to share news with you. Their faces dropped in shock when they saw the picture on your phone. Two third years frozen in time the boy kissing a timid blushing girl’s cheek. Kiyoko was the first to make you aware of her presence by clearing her throat. 

 “Oh! Hey guys!” You turned quickly hiding your phone.

 “Whatcha lookin at y/n?” Tanaka asked teasingly.

 “Nothing,” you reply nervously. “Oh so you’re not oogling my best friend’s pictures on instagram?” 

 “What? No absolutely not! I’m so over that,” You argue trying to convince yourself more than them. 

 “Then let me see your phone,” he smirks holding his hand out.

 “Thats a invasion of privacy,” you protest standing up to pre prepare for what comes next.

 Tanaka lurches for your phone, and you quickly run in the opposite direction. This has happened more times than you’d like to admit. He catches up quickly to you and grabs your arm reaching for your phone. Damn his slight height advantage over you. Kiyoko watches on in amusement you two have always acted more like siblings than friends. Probably from the years in high school where you had become used to eachother. She lets the two of you continue for a moment before clearing her throat again.

 “Y/N we have some news to share with you,” Kiyoko starts.

 You turn to look at her and notice something that hadn’t caught your eye before. A small diamond ring on her finger. Your eyes widen as a smile spreads across your face. Without anymore information about their news you congratulate them. The three of you celebrate their engagement by ordering in and watching movies the rest of the night. You’re happy for them you really are but there a nagging feeling in your chest. 

 The next few months you helped Kiyoko plan the wedding as best you could. Between work and planning you had no time to think about the boy you let leave. It took you by surprise when your friend asked you to be the maid of honor. You accepted quickly. You became increasingly excited to plan small parties and get togethers for them. While you planned the wedding shower your friends hatched a secret plan for you.

 The day before the wedding shower you missed all the sly smirks and looks your friend’s gave each other. You were all setting up the venue for the next day. A few of Tanaka’s old team mates and their partners came to help. They were all in on something that you clearly weren’t. 

 “Hey Y/n~” Tanaka called you over in a singsong voice.

 “Yes?” You turned toward him keeping your balance on the step ladder where you stood.

 “Could you run to the airport tonight and pick up a guest?”

 “Tonight? They aren’t coming in the morning?”

 “No they took a late flight so they could be here in the morning,” He smirked.

 “Who is it?”

 “My uncle.”

 You stare at him suspiciously for a moment longer. “Fine.”

 At that they rush you to the door handing you your bag and keys along the way. You make your way to your car taking an extra moment to look at your friends who were, not so subtly, peeking out the windows at you. You start your car mumbling under your breath that this uncle better not be creepy. You make your way to the airport and head inside to the gate Tanaka told you his uncle would be arriving from. There aren’t many other people standing around waiting like you are. Its only a few minutes of standing there before people start coming through the gate. Most of them are business men getting home from trips. You’re looking for this uncle you know nothing about when you see a familiar tuft of blonde hair wading through the crowd. Its in this moment you realise you’ve been duped.

 You consider running away before he sees you, but you know it will raise some questions if you show back up without him. So instead you stand there in defeat face heating up more by the second. Before you know it you’re standing face to face with the man your high school sweet heart grew to be. The shock on your face is mirrored by his own shocked expression. His face then shifts to excitement yours stays the same. 

 “Y/n? I hardly recongnized you! You cut your hair it looks good,” He begins as if it hasn’t been years. “Did you get taller since the last time I saw you?”

 “No,” You snort. “You’re just short remember?”

 “Hey!” He laughs. 

 It feels like old times now that the two of you are together. You have to refrain from reaching for his hand when you start toward baggage claims. This isn’t high school you remind yourself. He happily chats while you walk next to him the heat never leaving your face. You help him collect his bags and head back out to the car. You manage to croak out a weak ‘I’m sure everyone will be happy to see you.’ between his nonstop talking. Same Noya.

Ushijima, Tendo, Goshiki, Semi

 Ushijima

 You definitely catch him off guard and he just stands there staring back at you. Your courage deflates as he stays silent for just a minute too long. Just as you’re about to run the other way due to embarrassment you watch a rare smile cross his face. He envelopes you in his arms and whispers it back to you. Because he does love you so much. More than anything in this entire world. 

 Tendo

 When the words leave your lips he watches your face to make sure you’re not joking. He still has so many insecurities from high school. When your face doesn’t change, and you don't yell out a ‘gotcha’ his heart melts. He holds your face and asks you to repeat over and over again until he's sick of hearing it. He’ll never be sick of hearing it though.

 Goshiki

 Turns bright red when you blurt out the ‘I love you.’ He tries to play it off and puffs out his chest. He holds your hands to his chest because he honestly doesn’t know what else to do with them. He whispers it back softly. Once he regains his composure he's taking you out on an impromptu date. While you’re getting ready he sends a boastful text in the group chat his team made after leaving high school. ‘Y/N LOVES ME.’ He sends before whisking you off to dinner.

 Semi

 It was very much an accidental confession of love. You were leaving his house after a night in with him. You kissed him goodbye promising to text him when you got home. You stop at the door shouting out ‘I’m leaving now! Love you!’ It took you both a moment to realize what was said. You make it all the way home before your phone rings. You pick it up just to hear your boyfriend’s frantic voice ‘I love you too! Can I come over?’

How he kisses you

Oikawa, Iwazumi, Hanamaki, Mattsukawa, Kyotani

 Oikawa

 He kisses you everytime like its the last time. He can’t help himself he loves the way you feel so close to him. He loves the way you give him butterflies no matter how many times he’s kissed you before. His favorite thing to do is catching you off guard. You could be standing in line at a coffee shop or he could be swarmed by fans. It doesn’t matter he doesn’t hold back his feelings for you. If he wants a kiss he’s not waiting. 

 Iwazumi

 His kisses are rough. Not because he means for them to be he just can’t help himself around you. Though they’re rough he never gets aggressive when he’s kissing you. You’re the most important person in his life and he makes sure thats convade through kisses. His affection definitely speaks where his words fail. You’ll never have to doubt his love for you because he will make sure to prove his love to you daily. His favorite time to kiss you is after a morning run when the weather is cold. He likes hearing you whine when he presses a cold kiss to your face before sliding his equally icy hands up your shirt.

 Hanamaki

 He’s definitely taking pictures of the two of you kissing. Its even his lockscreen on his phone. If theres ever a reason you can’t see each other for a short period of time he will edit one of the pictures and send it to you. You’ll have so many pictures from him of the two of you small drawn hearts surrounding your faces.  He’ll pair it with a dumb message like ‘this could be us right now but you have to work :(‘. Your coworkers think its the cutest thing ever. His kisses however convey a neediness that you only know. Hes had bad luck with relationships due to his undecided future. So when he kisses you they say please stay don’t go. 

 Matsukawa

 Lazy kisses. On the days you have nothing to do you can find yourself curled up on the couch with no signs of him letting you leave the nest anytime soon. He’ll intentionally put something on the t.v. that neither of you will watch just so he can kiss you all day. His kisses are slow and sweet. He could spend all day just kissing you no matter how impractical you tell him that it.

  Kyotani

 Soft kisses. He kisses you like he has something to prove to you. Hes always afraid that one day you’ll listen to the people who call him cold and mean. Theres a desperation in his kiss that would break your heart if you understood it. You’re the one person he feels he can let his guard down around. So when its just the two of you he becomes the softest person you’ve ever met. He just holds you while pressing deep kisses to your lips.

How he kisses you

 Ushijima

 He gives you soft kisses. Mostly behind closed doors because public displays of affection are uncomfortable. You tend to roll with what hes comfortable though every once in a while you sneak a tender peck when no one else is looking. His kisses are so gentle but they hold so much love for you. He will pepper your face with small kisses just because that how he shows his affection for you. If its a lazy day at home expect to not leave his arms all day. He just wants to hold you and smother you in those kisses.

 Tendo

 Teasing kisses. You’ll be kissing him sweetly then all of the sudden he pokes his tongue into your mouth. He laughs when you groan and pull away from him. Be on alert because at any point in time he will go from kissing you to just licking your entire face. He loves kissing you at inconvenient moments too. Where Ushijima hates public displays of affection Tendo loves them.  His kisses become more serious when you’ve been away, or hes just had a rough day at work. All he wants to do is come home have you hold him and kiss all his frustrations away. 

 Goshiki

 Nervous at first. As he’s fairly new to dating and romance he’s always nervous hes doing something wrong. A lot of the kisses have to be initiated by you. He feels more confident when you two have been home all day together and you’ve spent it reassuring his with affection. He will slowly start to initiate once he pushes his nerves down. No matter how long you’ve been together his face always turns red when you give him a more passionate kiss. 

 Semi

 He loves to show you any type of affection when hes home from being on the road. His kisses are long and sweet because he never wants to forget the feeling. No matter how long hes home a couple of days, a week, a month he makes sure you feel loved. He will kiss you anywhere he can reach your neck, cheek, nose you will be drowning in kisses by the end of the day. He can’t help it though he loves kissing you almost as much as he just outright loves you.

How he feels waking up next to you

Daichi, Sugawara, Asahi, Nishinoya

 Daichi

 Every morning he wakes up to you is a good morning. And since you both decided to live together he’s had a lot of good mornings. Seeing you deep asleep next to him brings a small smile to his face. It doesn’t matter that your hair is tangled and everywhere or that you’re snoring slightly. Though he’ll definitely tease you about it when you wake. The mornings are his favorite time of day. That's when he gets to just take you in without you questioning his stares. He’ll try to no avail to brush the hair in your face away. It always finds its way right back to where it was before. When you wake up you’ll both get ready for the day together and he’ll get to experience his second favorite time of day with you.

 Sugawara

 He wakes up to you sprawled you and the covers kicked off of yourself. His mother instinct takes over for just a moment as he wraps the comforter around you mumbling about you catching a cold. It falls upon deaf ears as you’re still fast asleep. He cuddles closer to you determined to sleep a bit longer. When you wake up you’ll drag him to the local cafe for breakfast. He’ll complain you could both just make breakfast at home, but he doesn’t resist for too long. You’ll tell him it's a Saturday tradition as it was what you did when you started dating in college. He’ll roll his eyes but smile. He just can’t say no to you not that it bothers him in the slightest. 

 Asahi

 He’s always nervous you’ll wake up one day and realize you don’t want this anymore. That anxiety subsides every morning he wakes and you meet his eyes with a happy smile. He’s always been somewhat of a coward, but seeing that smile fills him with confidence. Confidence enough to lean toward you for a kiss. And when you mirror the motion his heart skips a beat. It's strange how you make him feel so brave, yet so nervous. It’s a feeling though he wouldn’t give up.

 Nishinoya

 He spent a lot of his high school years chasing girls that never gave him the time of day. So when he threw a cheesy pickup line and you didn’t run the other way he knew you were the one. Now when he wakes up in the morning to your face he has to contain the sheer joy welling up in his chest. He’s absolutely giddy so you don’t get to sleep in for long. He’s incapable of staying quiet so you usually wake up a few minutes after he does. You might whine that hes moving around too much, but he makes up for that by cuddling up with you. At some point you’ll both get up. If you even attempt to get out of bed before hes ready though expect to be pulled right back. Its cuddle time babe he’ll laugh.

How he feels waking up next to you

Kuroo, Kenma, Yaku, Lev, Yamoto

Kuroo

He wakes up before you every morning without fail. It also never fails that he can’t sit for very long while you sleep before he starts pestering you. This man will absolutely just bug the ever-loving shit out of you until you wake up. He blows air into your face, tickles your nose, and is just in general a nuisance. It doesn’t matter how many times you smack his hand away, or tell him in that grumpy voice he loves so much to leave you alone and let you sleep. He is not deterred. Usually, his antics end up in the two of you pillow fighting. He says he lets you win these fights, but there's no way he can fight tired and grumpy you off successfully.

Kenma

Kenma is a true night owl up all hours of the night and sleeping through the morning and a good portion of the afternoon. So when he wakes up and you’re in bed next to him in the afternoon it brings a rare smile to his face. He knows you’ve been up and already run into town for errands. That you’ve already ticked every box on your to-do list, and decided to join him for a nap. It's not often this happens you’re usually busy during the day. Sometimes he can’t help but feel envious of how easily you glide through life. You never seem to worry, but you never seem to slow down either. So when you’re lying next to him breathing softly he sees you in a whole other light. He can’t choose between the two which is his favorite. To him, you’re perfect no matter what.

Yaku

He's usually a stickler for the one rule in your house. On the weekends you both get up early and clean. He hardly ever lets you sleep in late unless it's a rare circumstance. Today it seems is that rare day. He can’t help but let you sleep in when you’re bundled up so cutely in the blanket. Every morning he wakes up next to you he's like a child on Christmas. His face absolutely lights up every time he sees your sleeping form next to you. He never gave much thought to sharing a home with someone. Now that he was living with you though it’s like he's seeing through new eyes. He never realized how nice it would be to have someone greet him every evening after a long day of work. He especially didn’t realize how nice the morning of his day off could be. Until you. He thought his life was pretty great before you he lived in ignorant bliss according to Yaku. When you entered his life though somehow life doubled in its greatness. He wouldn’t give up waking up to you for anything.

Yamamoto

Man is thrilled every morning he sees you on the pillow next to his. He waited a long time to find someone as wonderful as you. He spent so long in high school chasing girls that had no interest in him. By the time he was done with school, he had given up on having a sort of love life at all. You gave him no choice in the matter when you entered into his life. Before he knew it he was head over heels for you. Willing and ready to meet your every request no matter how insane it might be. You never requested anything more than his love, and some snacks from time to time. He knows when you wake up you’ll give him an amused smile and say it's simp behavior to stare at someone while they sleep. He’ll laugh through the blush forming on his face. He’s your simp and he has no problem admitting it.

How he feels waking up next to you

 Oikawa

 He loves waking up next to you in the morning. It reminds him he really is more human than his fans make him out to be. While most people raise him up on a godlike pedestal you humble him, bring him back down to earth. You’re both usually too busy to enjoy mornings together so times like this are far and few between. He’s on a pretty tight sleep schedule so he wakes up before you most of the time. When he doesn’t have anything to do in the morning he just lays next to you holding your sleeping form tight to himself. He knows on your days off you like to sleep in so he sneaks down to a local cafe to get you a coffee and pastry. He loves seeing that sleepy smile you give him when he slides back into bed with you. You’ll both stay in bed drinking your coffee and having your breakfast. It's the moments like this he cherishes.

 Iwazumi

 He gets up fairly early to go for a run each morning. He’s tried to get you to join him but you tell him 5 am is not an acceptable time to be up. He just chuckled before sliding on his running shoes and watching you settle back into bed. You’re still asleep when he gets back home so he showers. He plans on staying up maybe making breakfast but as he goes back through your shared room his resolve cracks. You look so comfortable and he feels himself being lured back to bed. He slips back into bed pulling you close to his chest. He won’t go back to sleep, but he’ll wait for you to wake up. Or he’ll wait until he’s tired of waiting and get back up whichever comes first. Most of the time it's the latter, but it's not your fault he gets up so damn early. When you do finally wake he’ll most likely be in the kitchen making breakfast. He’ll lightly berate you for sleeping so late ‘you’ll never get anything done sleeping in so late.’ He knows you’ll just laugh, but that's okay as long as he gets to spend the rest of his mornings with you.

 Hanamaki

 Maki sleeps in late. So by the time he wakes up in the morning you’re already sitting up in bed scrolling on your phone. He’ll offer you a goofy smile when you greet him with a ‘good morning lazybones!’ He loves your smile when you’ve noticed he’s awake for the day. In high school, he was used to never getting attention from the opposite gender. Most of the girls around him wanted Oikawa. After high school, most of them wanted a guy with a job and a life plan. You came along and told him to take his time. You never minded that he was unsure of what he wanted in life. Now the one thing he was sure of was he wanted you in his life forever.

 Matsukawa

 He wakes up every morning holding you without fail. He loves the way you feel in his arms. He’ll just lay there holding you trying to get just a little bit more sleep. He knows once you’re awake you’ll want to get started on the day. You’ll probably drag him to the grocery store, have him help rearrange the living room. He’ll groan about how it's both of your days off so you should just chill on the couch. In the end, though he’ll comply with all your demands for the day. He acts like he doesn’t want to, but he’ll never pass up the chance to spend the day with you. Besides he knows tomorrow is another day off, and that's his day to choose what you both do. And he thinks he’ll settle for you just laying in his arms.

 Kyotani

 He never in a million years would have pictured waking up next to someone every day. Girls tended to keep their distance due to his reputation. He couldn’t deny that he was definitely rough around the edges especially in high school. You however make him soft though he’ll never admit to it out loud. When he wakes up to you laying on his chest in the morning theres a small part of himself saying ‘go to practice you’ll be late.’ There is a bigger part drowning that voice out completely screaming ‘stay in bed.’ So he compromises by staying in bed for just a little while longer before heading out. He’ll be late and he will definitely get grief from his teammates. But it makes that all worth it when you move in closer to him in your sleep.

How he feels waking up next to you

Ushijima, Tendo, Goshiki, Semi

Ushijima

 He had spent his entire high school experience not being able to read people’s social cues. When he met you years after graduating there was a feeling of relief. You don’t badger him or get upset when he takes what you say a bit too literally. You don’t talk down to him when he misunderstands your cues. He had all but sworn off dating due to negative responses he got for his personality alone. You however made your way into his heart with no intention of leaving. So when he wakes up next to you his eyes are trained on your peaceful face. This is the only time of the day you’re peaceful and quiet. He admires you while he still can. He knows when you get up you’ll head to the kitchen to cook breakfast playing music that suits your mood for the day. And while he does love how soft you look in your sleep he can’t wait to spend the day with you awake. 

Tendo

 He loves waking up before you. He is a little shit taking unflattering pictures of you sprawled out on your pillow, mouth agape, and drool on your chin. He keeps them all in a special folder that no one else sees. A lot of them are a selfie of himself with you in the background. He jokingly tells you it's blackmail for when you refuse to try his new chocolate creations. He would never actually do that though. Growing up he didn’t have many friends and never really expected to find someone who wanted to date him. He was a monster after all. Yet here you are sharing a bed with him sleeping peacefully. He feels inexplicable joy every morning he gets to wake up with you. The quiet mornings never last long because he cannot help himself from waking you up to start the day. He knows when he attempts to wake you up he’ll be met with a pillow to the face. But that's a risk he’s willing to take.

Goshiki

 He doesn’t usually get to stay long enough in the morning to admire you sleeping. So on rare days when he doesn’t have an early practice, he is content to lay next to you. It took him a long time to feel comfortable when you had started dating. He was fairly awkward, and his head was stuck on volleyball. You however brought him out of his shell little by little. He wasn’t aware he could feel so strongly about someone before you. When you wake up you’ll probably be startled since you’re used to him being gone in the morning. You’ll whine that he's being creepy just staring like that and that normal people sleep in on their days off. He’ll just chuckle, but for now, you’re still asleep. 

Semi

 As someone who’s gone for long periods of time with his band he rarely wakes up with you. When he’s home he can’t help but just watch you sleeping or not. He's so used to you just being a voice through the phone. So when he wakes up in the morning there you are, and he falls in love with you all over again. He just stares at you while his hand caresses your face. When you wake up you’ll both try to spend as much time as possible with each other. There are only a few days left of his week off. He never gets enough time with you. One day though he’ll never have to leave you again.
