I took this as an opportunity to rework Micheals design a little bit, giving it proper digitigrade legs and a suit top to explain the coattails that were just kinda appearing from nowhere in the original design.

an animation that isn't a bouncing ball, this is my first Animation...in awhile.

first time with it being a sonic character though, in this case my OC. I missed a step in the running cycle so I thought what if I just made her trip off the screen

tried making an aged up version for Ray...this hurt. it's more or less a redesign of an old design I did, I didn't like it, plus I missed the jacket from Archie I have no clue why. fur wise, I thought that he would probably have fluffy and somewhat messy hair due to probably doing flying based traveling. his jacket, unlike the old design and Archie, has Velcro-esc slits at the sides, that way he can switch between ordinary jacket and a jacket to fly in, how the jacket doesn't fly off, I dunno cartoon logic? though with one of the rough sketches I also thought maybe he might be able to pop off the sleeves or it could be those jacket/ponchos. as for his hood it has a built in scarf in case he has to obscure his face or to keep warm. which can come off if he feels like it. his shoes I got inspiration from his Archie varients but I wanted to keep some of the original concept from reboot Archie that got seeped into mania. the stockings: I dunno, I thought they looked neat and would help shield from thorns or keep his legs warm too. The leg pouch: I thought what if the pouch could be mighty's? because he had it during the time of looking for Matilda, and at the time Ray had thoughts that mighty would forget about him, once he reunited with his sister, but doesn't wear it in the reboot, so I thought what if when Ray gets older, mighty gives him the pouch, basically letting him know that no matter what, even if he decides to travel on his own away from mighty, he'll always see Ray as a brother? (while drawing this I thought of how funny it would be if he travels to new or revisited islands and has been making a map, that way he can see the changes of his world. basically pulling a hiccup haddock.) {lore (might change over time): } Ray, he's still cheery and energetic, wanting to go on adventures, he's still skittish, but not as much. and while he enjoyed training with mighty and learning to dodge and perry with his tail. Ray had to come to terms that despite the training, he's not a strength based fighter. so through time,consideration, and adventures, Ray comes to terms that the day was the day he had to venture on his own, to be a better him, and to find out what fighting style could suite him. which for mighty, was touch to handle because, well he watched Ray grow and that's like his little brother, and had to let him fly out the nest. During rays journeys, He meets meets either espio, his grandmother, or someone similar. there he learns stealth, how to use darts and shurikens, and how to be dangerous with and without strength. a few years later, he stopped hearing from mighty and got worried, and if that wasn't any good, news came around that restorations new associate us doing something behind closed doors, and the Chaotix have been missing aswell... hopefully, at the sweepstakes... he can find his missing friend, and hopefully, his stealth,new and old training. will help him survive the challenge and what comes his way at this mystery.

Okie....I tried on of those thingies where people draw their characters over a comic strip, and I thought.. "screw it why not try." This is my OC Nix...and the comic strip I used was from of of the IDW comic Issues (I...Think??? the artist was Thomas Bryce??? if not I'M SO SORRY IF I DO NOT KNOW YOU BUT IF THE ARTIST FOR THIS COMIC IS SEEING THIS YOU DID SOME FANTASTIC WORK WITH THE COMIC) i'm so sorry and have a nice day

"Ok, new day new camera, and the marine life is...." "oh Gaia...there's two of them...." Ray: "it's pretty and shiny and it blink I must have it" "hey,HEY! GIVE BACK THAT CAMERA YOU- oh forget it...." About Ray: Believe it or not despite what the IDW comics,small show, sonic art and mania, plus him being one of my favorite characters, I have no clue how he would be as a mermaid... though I don't think much would change. he would still be driven with the love of nature, talkative, and skittish. and during his travels, he likes gathering things, especially debris that falls into the ocean, from sea glass, to a license plate. to which mighty had to send him over to Amy to teach him how make a satchel to hold his things. however that changed when Ray discovered a strange box with an eye on it (a camera) and behind it, had pictures of different and weird things that isn't in the ocean. To, Mighty's expense and he gets rather nervous around the cameras. so when Ray first presented one...he accidently hurt his feelings. he's more lenient about cameras as long as he stays out of the picture. But don't take Ray's Innocence to seriously, his sharp teeth helps him take out chunks of flesh and eats rocks to sharpen them. and his claws are used to open clams and various shells. the paw pads on his hands work like suction cups so that he can easily climb and hold things if needed. he mainly uses these suction cups on his hands to hang on to mighty, when he chooses to take fast currents or goes as unnatural speeds. kinda like how in the sonic comics he can be seen riding on Mighty's back. Animal inspirations: Flying fish sea bunny Manta ray sucker fish/star fish. lemon shark

This Au...has been stuck on my for you page.... For 3 WEEKS! I don't even look this stuff up! It started when someone I followed made a sea creature version of Silver which was awesome...then Shadow... THEN MORE KEPT POPPING UP! And I just finished reading the Rewound comic which you should definitely check out when you have time. So I thought "screw it, lemme have a swing at it."

Personality: Mighty at least in Rewound, is kinda feral. but I have a theory that deep down, when the fighting and danger is aside and you actually meet him. he's the known Strong lovable goober everyone knows and loves. However. I also took into account that given circumstances and the fact the ocean can be harsh. Mighty has some needless to say, Killer instincts and sometimes can get carried away with the hunt if it means providing for Ray and his friends. when it comes to the average Human or Mobian. Mighty can be highly hostile to them, given how most of the humans/Mobian's either hunt him, leave nets in the ocean to get tangled or capture him for experiments. so needless to say you need to have a lot of guts to try and give this guy therapy. He Travels the ocean with Ray, and they help each other hunt. Mighty has grown affection toward Ray from hunting pack, to his little brother. though unlike Ray's High sociability, Mighty is a little more shy, and thrown off guard if any other sea monsters /mermaids hear of him. Due to Ray falling into fishing or research boats often, mighty has to cause a few shipwrecks to keep Ray and any other creatures from being found out.

Design: Mighty was inspired by a Variety of prehistoric armoured marine life. mainly the dunkleosteus so mighty can keep his shell. a cat fish, And (at least I tried to add) Caribbean Reef shark. Mainly because I looked up what shark species is fast but nice, and Caribbean shark was top of the list. and while this might not be seen in the picture, with mighty and Ray, to help with traveling, they're colors or in mighty'rs case skin tone are more vibrant the closer they are to the surface and the sun. including they're eyes. and about his Ear: He has a tag on his ear, but after a fight with a shark some of her ear along with the tag got munched off. though, his ears and antenna looking things work as a way to sense things in the ocean and to Amplify his Echo location (which mighty and Ray have to help find eachother.) which sounds like a whale sound mixed with an eery whistle. Ablilities: Mighty is a powerful swimmer and has his super strength with his tail,arms and of course jaw. Mighty's jaw is so powerful it has been known to tear into metal. The shell Armour on his back reinforces his strength kind of like a shield which is hard to nearly impossible to destroy. he also has tough skin which makes it so that it will take some hits to actually damage him.

My brother kept using that switch aroo thing in sonic mania, so I kept by a hidden one and waited for him to get near the finish line only to jump on it bringing him back near the start, he hasn't wanted to use those item boxes since.
