With shaking claws— hands, he reglamoured, willing the sharp edges back down to rounder points— he turned off the water, dried himself off, threw on whatever clothes he had grabbed in his haste, and opened the door. Sure enough, Dew was sitting there, waiting with a leg crossed over the other and his hands at either side. “Blue moon, huh? That’s what’s got you all wound up?”

“…If you know why I’m like this then you know you shouldn’t be in here.” Aether tried his best to speak calmly, cohesively and without fucking growling this time. “Dew, leave.”

Dew scoffed and uncrossed his legs, standing, “You don’t actually want me to go, do you?” His nose twitched, and a small smirk crossed his lips, “Lucifer, you smell like you’re in heat.”

Aether’s hand gripped the frame of the door tight as the smell of oak and whiskey overwhelmed him. He was surprised the wood didn’t start to splinter. “You being a brat isn’t going to help me.”

“Who said I was going to brat?” He stopped a few short steps away from him, arms folded and hands clasped behind his back with his spine straight. Aether’s eyes flickered up and down his lithe body, he imagined each and every line and mark of definition on his torso beneath the loose-fitting shirt and shorts. “All you gotta to do is ask, and I’m yours.”

He barked out a laugh, and felt his stomach twist at the roughness in his tone, “I’m not in the mood for fucking jokes right now.”

“I’m not joking, Aether.”

If Dewdrop was at all fazed by his sudden gruffness, he refused to show it; his lips remained perked in a small smirk, though his eyes held a kind of… it wasn’t softness, but it was something akin to it. Consideration, maybe. Aether couldn’t quite make it out, his ability to stay keyed-in on his mate’s emotional states being clouded by the swirling lust and disgust brewing in his chest. Dew continued, “I remember you getting like this some years back, so I talked to Omega, asked what the fuck was going on.”

Shame began to intertwine with the emotion that curled beneath his skin, and Aether swallowed thickly, “…What did he tell you?”

“That you need a release. Badly.”

Okay but like I might actually do this. I would probably leave the sideblog up as an archive with a hey look at the new blog message so I don’t lose anything but I might just make a new main blog with same/similar name

Gonna sleep on it first tho cause work was trash today and I am far too tired to make decisions as a result

Sometimes I debate remaking this blog as a main instead of a sideblog cause I think it would make things easier but also I am lazy so there’s that
