I can’t properly express how important the difference between possums and opossums is. Whenever I hear someone say “I like possums” (like my ex) I think there’s no possible way they can mean that. Opossums are North America’s only marsupial, the little guys with the white faces.

Possums live in marsupial central, Australia, where they belong—with the rest of the creatures created by neither god nor man, only the deeply disturbing number of coincidences called evolution.
