Aka Claire and her infinite ammo rocket launcher is how I achieved this:

(For my non-Resident Evil gaming friends, Hardcore is, as you'd probably expect, equivalent to Halo's Legendary and Mass Effect's Insanity.)

I followed a speedrun guide (hence the hour and 42 minute time, wooo!) that I legit wrote out, printed and stood right where I could see it at all times and then also brought the infinite ammo rocket launcher with me, lol. So yes, Claire just basically entered a room, rocket launchered everything and then continued on her way, lol!

Still died at least half a dozen times on the second Birkin fight because he wouldn't get in the right position for the crane to hit him so it would either hit Claire or he'd hit Claire and not even repeated rocket launchering could save her. 😬

(No wonder Mr. X doesn't like William Birkin, he disrespected his Rocket Launcher Queen! [Note: the following video immediately starts with a zombie bite, just to warn you if you're not familiar with the Resident Evil games] *cue "X Gon Give It To Ya William Birkin GRRRR"* 😂😂😂)

Anyway, I'm more than happy with getting an S rank on Hardcore (along with some cheevos!)

and will need to write out a speedrun guide for Leon so I can hopefully get his two similar achievements as well. Definitely don't need to get an S+ rank which prevents you from using the infinite ammo weapons, restricts you to 3 saves maximum AND must be done in under 2 hours (or was it 2 1/2? Not sure 'cause I don't need to subject myself to that stress, thank you very much, lol).

I loved this alternative outfit for Claire, especially given that, at the point in the story where she usually gives Sherry her red jacket, she instead somehow gives her a copy, in miniature, of her "Made In Heaven" vest! Fashion twinsies!🤗💖

As you can probably tell, I'm still having a great deal of fun with RE2R! I'm not going to 100% it but I still want to get all the achievements that seem like a fun challenge!
