The man told her that she should’t stand still, that she wasn’t really allowed to hold onto the railing that had felt moist and rusty two hours before when she was taken on lock-down and he spit on her face before he thrust one hands between her legs, pushed her against the wall and started to lick his own saliva off the corners of her glassy eyes. She’d already felt the rise of his deep-set noir wormrings, not quite mirroring hers that were fluid if putty colored, his were drawn as F-Tone Creed Apocalypse era pyre-human veins, pumping gallons of ire across his shinny forehead, dire cluster of sinexweb connections they’d made through the years, when on many nights and many lonely Sunday mornings she called him, longing for his voice, so soothing and recognizable, because she was unable to let any one else see how fucked up her own shit tasted if left unadulterated. She was now helping him regain access to the White Plains and knew best not to beg or call for help. He thought he should definitely taste her, but had been conditioned to honor the past and he paused for a moment, his left hand locking her neck.

Reverend Joshua Sloan: Did it ever occur to you, Cable, how wise and bountiful God was to put breasts on a woman? Just the right number in just the right place. Did you ever notice that, Cable?

My parents wanted to move me into high school out of the sixth grade, but we decided to chuck the idea because I'd have trouble making friends, blah, blah, blah. Now blah, blah, blah is all I ever do. I use my grand IQ to decide what color lip gloss to wear in the morning and how to hit three keggers before curfew...

In this film, by showing certain basic aspects of a city, a way of life is put on trial […] the last gasps of a society so lost in its escapism that it sickens you and makes you sympathetic to a revolutionary solution

Pamela: Diana, sex for favors is as old as ambition. And sex is much too fragile a platform to support your ambition.
Diana: You seem to have done well for yourself.
Pamela: That's because I've controlled my ambition. You might reflect that your... lover... has sent you 65 million light-years away from him.
[beat]
Pamela: Hardly an indication that he can't bear to be apart from you.
