Seeing an increasing number of people here talk about how actually, Israel and Zionists are the *real* antisemites and I dislike this trend. We have a Jewish ethnostate settler colony that is committing genocide in part to clear land for Jewish settlers to get free stolen land and wealth, and any Jewish person across the globe will be subsidized by Israel at the drop of a hat to come partake in that settler colonialism.

While antisemitism has been a vicious force historically, Jewish people are the privileged class and beneficiaries of Israel’s apartheid state, Israel is not antisemitic. To claim otherwise is to claim that patriarchy is actually misandrist, or that US presidents doing terrible things are actually unamerican and going against American values.

Israel and its Zionist supporters are killing at the rate of Nazi Germany’s Generalplan Ost, to ignore the unspeakable evil done to Palestinians and instead focus on how Israel is demeaning Judaism by doing it in their name or whatever is ridiculous beyond words.

Positing antisemitism as a serious concern in this conflict, but saying Israel are the real antisemites is carrying water for Israel because you’re still making this about something it is not and distracting from the root issue, and it will always be more useful to confront, dismantle and dismiss the crocodile tears over antisemitism around Israel than to take it as face value.
