for anyone who’s even a little curious, i still play a lot of touken ranbu!! i’m STILL only missing one sword (onimaru this time) and i just finished the new bg event. i really like the firework animation. i did accidentally miss my anniversary this year though.... :’D i typically like taking screenshots and posting them here. i’ve been playing for 4 years now!

i got hakusan today!!! now i’m only missing one sword again. the ONLY thing that sucks about that is the sword i’m missing is chatannakiri, who i already got but accidentally let him die in my inbox :’)))))

i’d say you’re doing pretty good for being level 17! i didn’t get jiji until about 4 months into playing. my best friend got him on the day she joined tho, the little shit

Just started playing touken ranbu. A little bit dissapointed that I haven't got jiji yet, but one day I will definitely get him

Special Investigation: Tenpou Edo -Complete-

I didn’t expect to get both of them back-to-back like this so I guess I’m now done with the event??

This time we’ll be playing reverse minesweeper with the enemies. Basically you explore the map to locate 4 bombs and defuse it. If you are getting close to a bomb the enemies will tell you by leaving “examination notes” behind. The notes are just asmall piece of wood with either 3, 2 or 1 written on it. The number on the note indicates how many nodes you are away from reaching a bomb. Once you’ve defused all 4 you’ll be transported inside the mansion to defeat the boss. Defeat it once to get either Kiyomaro or Suishinshi (Whoever you get first depends on who you pick to join your party at the start of the game), defeat it the 2nd time and get the other one.

This one is way less annoying compared to the Mutsu’s one where you have to chase the boss node around the entire map. Really your main objective is to collect all the dialouges and get the two new boys, don’t worry about clearing it multiple times for things like kiwame items or ofudas.

I guess that’s it?? What a short review this is.

there IS an inventory expansion, but you gotta buy it. if you use Google awards and link it to your play store account you should be able to buy stuff eventually

so i’ve been watching TONS of touken ranbu and i was wondering exactly how tall all of the characters are so i made a comprehensive chart of their heights instead of studying for midterms

the only height that i’m missing is chiyoganemaru, but since he is categorized as a tachi and based on his build, i think that he’s around the same height as mikazuki munechika

EDIT AS OF 2/7/19 still no sign of chiyoganemaru, chougi, or buzen’s heights and no word of nenekirimaru’s height but i’ve guestimated and will update again when the official heights come out!! EDIT AS OF 4/14/19 finally got around to adding hakusan to the list!! i was looking at his face size and he’s actually kinda short??? but i guess that makes sense since he’s a tsurugi LOL

EDIT AS OF 5/7/19 hizen and chouson have been added!! still no word on the official heights from chiyo onward 🤔

— TOUKEN RANBU UPDATE —

Hakusan Yoshimitsu Smithing Event: 19-26 February 2019

Currently reported successful Smithing Recipe: All-893, All-850, All-800, All-900, All-950 (with or without Ofuda)

He is a new sword type: Tsurugi (Timer = 6:00:00). As long as he is not in a “Tired” state, he can heal/restore 32% health of a heavily damaged Touken Danshi in the party mid-battle.

Other updates include several new features in battles. Now you can see which Sword in your party is in a “Sakura Fubuki” state or not.

When a Troops is lost in battle, instead of disappearing directly as usual, the said Troop’s display will be “dimmed” and the number shown will be “0”.

Also when in a Sortie, you will now be given 3 choices after clearing a battle: Continue, Go Back to Citadel, and Give Provision to Your Team (middle button).

This means you can give Dango and Bento to your “Tired” Swords in the map without having to return to the Citadel.

【新しい刀剣男士公開 剣 白山吉光(はくさんよしみつ)】 [New Sword Announcement] Tsurugi, Hakusan Yoshimitsu

鎌倉時代に活躍した刀工、粟田口吉光作の剣（つるぎ）。徳川家光の養女大姫が前田光高に嫁いだ際に持参され、その死後奉納された。剣はより神の系譜となり、白山吉光は治癒の力を持つ。お供の白い狐を連れている。瓜が好き。

A tsurugi made by Kamakura Era smith Awataguchi Yoshimitsu. It was carried by Tokugawa Iemitsu’s foster daughter Oohime when she was married to Maeda Mitsutaka, and was presented as an offering after her death. The blade developed godly qualities and Hakusan Yoshimitsu is said to now possess healing powers. Accompanying him is his companion, a white fox. Likes melon.
