Who am I, really?
In the time it took for the photons from my computer screen to hit my retnas to show the reality of the tendency of bits of code to form an idea of style called times new roman to piece together who I am... I changed.
Drat. You almost had her.
How do I begin to describe myself. Verbs, nouns, pronouns, adverbs... what limitation do I choose for myself?

This was typhoon Trami heading for Japan in 2018. Photos were taken by German astronaut Alexander Gerst. He wrote: “Staring down the eye of yet another fierce storm. Category 5 Super Typhoon Trami is unstoppable and heading for Japan and Taiwan. Be safe down there!”

Read me
What kind of book am I?
A fable? It depends on my position or wave tendencies that day.
A satire? Perhaps.
A gentle read? Doubtful.
Read me with a box of tissues, someone offers. Dramatic.
Read me with a blues clues notepad to track my contradictions.
Read me with an open mind.
Read me with resilience to get through the run on sentences
Read me with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack planned.
Read me with a warm puffy jacket and a nightlight
Read me with Aretha playing in the background singing about prayers
Read me.

You. A poem for my husband.
I like to walk
Up mountains, down sidewalks, through alleys, with you
I like to run
In forests, from problems, through snow, to you
I like to play
In sandboxes, tucked away in Geckos, with modge podge and paper, by you
I like to love
like characters in romantic movies, like I'm spreading peanut butter on top of sliced apples, like I had a lobotomy and lost my mind, like tambourines beckoning a groom, like fairytales and cottages...you.

Favorite Quotes from Physics and Philosophy by Werner Heisenberg ...so far
-"The idea that energy could be emitted or absorbed only in discrete energy quanta was so new that it could not be fitted into the traditional framework of physics." pg.6
-"Bohr was well aware of the fact that the quantum conditions spoil in some way the consistency of Newtonian Mechanics. In the simple case of the hydrogen atom, one could calculate from. Bohr's theory the frequencies of the light emitted by the atom, and the agreement with the observations were perfect. Yet these frequencies were different from the orbital frequencies and their harmonics of the electrons circling around the nucleus, and this fact showed at once that the theory was still full of contradictions." Pg.8
"How could it be that the same radiation that produces interference patterns, and therefore must consist of waves, also produces the photoelectric effect, and therefore must consist of moving particles." pg 9
"The probability wave of Bohr, Kramers, Slater, however, meant more than that; it meant a tendency for something. It was a quantitative version of the old concept of "potentia" in Aristotelian philosophy. It introduced something standing in the middle between the idea of an event and the actual event, a strange kind of physical reality just in the middle between possibility and reality." Pg. 15
"Schrodinger had described the atom as a system not of a nucleus and electrons but of a nucleus and matter waves." Pg. 17
"Bohr considered the two pictures - particle picture and wave picture-as two complimentary descriptions of the same reality." Pg. 17
"The probability function represents a mixture of two things, partly a fact and partly our knowledge of a fact. It represents a fact in so far as it assigns at the initial time the probability unity (I.E complete certainty) to the initial situation: the electron moving with the observed velocity at the observed position; "observed" means observed within the accuracy of the experiment. It represents our knowledge in so far as another observer could perhaps know the position of the electron more accurately. The error in the experiment does-at least to some extent- not represent a property of the electron but a deficiency in our knowledge of the electron. Also, this deficiency of knowledge is expressed in the probability function." Pg.19
"The probability function obeys an equation of motion as the co-ordinates did in Newtonian mechanics; its change in the course of time is completely determined by the quantum mechanical equation, but it does not allow a description in space and time. The observation on the other hand, enforces the description in space and time but breaks the determined continuity of the probability function by changing our knowledge of the system." Pg 23
"These uncertainties may be called objective in so far as they are simply a consequence of the description in the terms of classical physics and do not depend on any observer. This may be called subjective in so far as they refer to our incomplete knowledge of the world" Pg 27
"Plato constructs the regular solids from two basic triangles, the equilateral and the isosceles triangles, which are put together to form the surface of the solids. Therefore, the elements can (at least partly) be transformed into each other. The regular solids can be taken apart into their triangles and new regular solids can be formed of them. For instance, one tetrahedron and two octahedra can be taken apart into twenty equilateral triangles, which can be recombined to give one icosahedron.... but the fundamental triangles cannot be considered matter, since they have no extension in space. It is only when triangles are put together to form a regular solid that a unit of matter is created." pg. 42----->Reminds me of S Matrix Theory
"The doctrine of Anaxagoras allows for the first time a geometrical interpretation of the term "mixture" Pg. 39
" He says, 'All things will be in everything; nor is it possible for them to be apart, but all things have a portion of everything.' The universe of Anaxagoras is set in motion not by Love and Strife, like that of Empedocles, but by "Nous," which we may translate as "Mind." Pg. 39

Counting
On Thursday, There were two crows sitting in the middle of the baseball field
On Friday, there were 11 arches in the backdrop of the opera
On that day, I bought two drinks; a glass of cab and a small hot coco
On Saturday, I covered one white fridge in art
Today, there are two lovers sitting on a green couch making a life for themselves.

Lily Pads - (a poem written for the memory of Virginia Woolf)
I float on my back in this oily grave
hear my own faint giggle through the mouthwash of malaise
Breathe out carbon dioxide mixed with fatigue
One deep breath of oxygen, and I’m below the mental blitzkrieg
Alien saucers, dervish dancing above
creating dark hiding spots for the diversely unloved
A thin blade of grass served as a guidepost to the ground
and then it occurred to me, it was a swell time to drown
I felt suction cupped to the idea, like lily pads to the water
Mouth open to howl my story’s final ending, of which I am the author.

Where poetry is made
Find me where poetry is made
In the spit of tongue kisses
in spoonfuls of orange marmalade
in the spaces of crossword
and bouquets of bearded iris
In the tickle of sitting on straw
and in the soft purr of the gyrus
in the cake-stand of cheesecake with tart scarlet cherries
in brown sunny chestnuts
and birdsongs of blue canaries
in the silence of watercolors melting on cotton paper
in the spreading of dutch cheese on thin savory wafers
in school bells and wind chimes
in folklore and myth
In lockets and sapphires
and tall monoliths

Bouquets of Sharpened Pencils
In the 1st grade I was given the job of class pencil sharpener
Each week I would take home a large ziplock bag full of 20 worn pencils to sharpen
I'd squeeze shut the top of the bag like it contained fish that were trying to swim out and farmer carry it with me everywhere I went
It sat on my lap like a small pet while I sat in the parking lot of Victor's waiting for my mom to return a rental
It caught the droppings of a black forest ham sub I once had for dinner
and on a few occasions it was sandwiched between pairs of cleats and used tissues in my backpack
I loved smelling the ziplock like it was a bag of marshmallows.
The smell of graphite transported me to the world of addition and alphabet tracing
It stayed on my fingers like essential oils.
and I held my own hands to keep it safe.
I made it a point.

Valentine Dogma
My essence is dynamic
I prefer to live life ecstatically than planned
Do no harm is how I view my interactions with other life forms
Leaving this planet better than when I first found it is what I strive for
I am happier when I am in a state of movement
I am a solitary creature that has occasional outgoing tendencies
I have no more room in my schedule for any more friends that want to see me more than once a year
I have no room in my heart for any lover other than my husband and I will not allow that to change
I am fulfilled when I am outside (esp. in mountains)
I see all around me as part of me and I it. So, above all, I hope to navigate the different parts of myself...my hair, the sidewalk, space-time, Walgreen cashiers ... with love.
I desire a pure mind with pure thoughts and will proactively cleanse it of filth.
I desire to never gossip
I will not kill myself
I will continually seek to be a better mother while simultaneously being proud of the parenting I am giving and loving ezra with my whole heart
I will never stop trying to fall deeper in love with my husband and continually strive to impress him and take care of every aspect of his being. I will die by his side.
I will grow in curiosity as I interact more with the dimension of time
I desire a low stress life and need it for my sanity
I desire to continually create art.
I must learn more than I drink water and I must drink water more.

The Tao of Physics key quotes from my last reading
"The closer we look at it, the more alive it appears. All of the material objects in our environment are made of atoms which link up with each other in various ways to form an enormous variety of molecular structures which are not rigid and motionless, but oscillate according to their temperature and in harmony with the thermal vibrations of their environment. In the vibrating atoms, the electrons are bound to the atomic nuclei by electric forces which try to keep them as close as possible, and they respond to this confinement by whirling around extremely fast. In the nuclei, finally, the protons and neutrons are pressed into a minute volume by the strong nuclear forces, and consequently race about with unimaginable velocities." Pg. 194
"The universe has to be grasped dynamically" pg.194
"In the collision processes of high-energy physics mass is no longer conserved." pg. 202
"The existence of matter and its activity cannot be separated. They are but different aspects of the same space-time reality."Pg, 203

The Balconies on Lagrima De Oro
A tiny pink toddler bike leans against the adobe wall balanced over a thick canary yellow blanket
Next door, a lone wooden chair sits by itself and contemplates trees
Beneath that are hanging spider plants that spend their days crawling on the balcony railing while the orange mat beneath the dainty patio furniture peers out condescendingly
To the right of that, a real human with cumulus clouds for hair reading on a small dark purple couch that I avoid making eye contact with
A modern day peanut butter and jelly sandwich sits on the bottom balcony - a few books squeezed between the back door and a yoga mat... full proof security system
