LEGAL NAME: Tetsu Arima, however he rarely responds to it. ALIAS / WILL RESPOND TO: Gruumsh or Kazaht (he will not respond to any diminutive) AGE: 24 physically, otherwise he is immortal SPECIES: Half Orc / Orc Deity OCCUPATION: Head of Orc Pantheon

I would suggest reading this post first, to get a general idea of who Gruumsh is and what he does.

                                                                 QUICK WARNING:  Tetsu in this verse is not the kind or gentle soup you once knew, he is violent, hateful and aggressive, he will not back down if you challenge him in any way. Please do not come towards him in this verse expecting any kindness or humanity. AKA: gruumsh soup is spicy, 10/10 would not recommend.

POSSIBLE TRIGGERS INVOLVED WITH THIS VERSE: Violence, Gore, Death, Horror

Gruumsh, the evil one eyed Orc God, has chosen Tetsu’s body as a host, for one of varying reasons! However, Gruumsh didn’t roll a natural 20 so his taking over of soups body didn’t go all according to plan. As of this moment in time, he is effectively 90% Gruumsh and 10% Tetsu, meaning that Tetsu’s memories and consciousness will occasionally surface for brief periods of time.For the remainder of the time, Gruumsh is in total control of Tetsu’s body.

WHY DID GRUUMSH PICK TETSU?

Gruumsh has always had a particular interest in Tetsu due to his half Orc nature as, half Orcs are historically a lot more successful than Orcs (they’re usually equally as strong and smarter). Due to lots of Orcs not involving themselves with humans, half Orcs are thus rare, so Gruumsh has been cultivating Tetsu since he was young, throwing some pretty nasty curve balls at him e.g. the death of his mother which was a product of the Orc Mafia under the influence of Gruumsh.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM GRUUMSH / TETSU?

Gruumsh has the capabilities to rile up Orcs, half orcs and his worshippers (regardless of species) alike. However, he also has the ability to increase any feeling of aggression (and similar emotions) of a person when in close range. This is generally a passive action and whilst passive, can be ignored and pushed away. But, Gruumsh can also use this ability under concentration (when he knows exactly what he is doing) and it is generally a lot more effective and a lot harder to ignore. For example, the presence of Gruumsh concentrating can cause physical pain, to quote the players handbook:

“Rage doesn’t just quicken their pulse, it makes their bodies burn. An insult stings like acid...” 

Tetsu’s body has also been granted immortality due to Gruumsh immortal soul now occupying it. However, this does not mean that his body is now invincible. Tetsu will eventually go down but, depending on how much you wail on him whilst he’s down, he will eventually get back up, good as new. The immortality also means that his body no longer requires food, drink or sleep.

Gruumsh will almost never miss an opportunity to fight and/or complete one of the following tasks he gave to his followers:

1. “Gather and breed, and your numbers shall flourish.” 2. “Rise up in hordes and seize that which is rightfully yours.” 3. “Raid. Kill. Conquer.” 

In response to number 1, Gruumsh is more likely to take an Orc partner but, will literally take anyone for pleasure (please note, I won’t be doing any smut on this blog).  2. Gruumsh will not hesitate to take anything he wants at anytime, especially if he deems it to be within his prerogative. And with number 3. Gruumsh will not hesitate to do any of the aforementioned things.

Gruumsh also has a bad history with Elves (Corellon Larethian, an elvish god, is said to have removed Gruumsh’s left eye as a trophy) and will generally be a lot worse towards anyone of Elf ancestry.

who falls asleep on the couch? I’m gonna say both of them bc Lin will just fall asleep in front of the TV and if Soup is comfortable somewhere, he can fall asleep. 

who makes friends with the neighbours? LIN DOES! Soup is very cautious around new people but Linus will straight up befriend everyone. Soup will eventually warm up to the neighbours and Lin would be the first one there like, “soup do you know (blank) our neighbour?” and Tetsu is there like “I do now.”

who is the adventurous eater? Linus because that boy doesn’t know what a healthy appetite is. Soup is more balanced, knowing what he does and doesn’t like!

who hogs the covers at night? I’m gonna put my money on Lin again because he’s a big boy who likes to be warm. Though Tetsu is like a living lava lamp, the kid gives off too much heat anyway.

who forgets to do the dishes? Lin does! Not only is Lin a little ditzy, Soup likes a clean kitchen. Though, Tetsu doesn’t mind cleaning up afterwards because it’s relaxing kinda.

who tries to surprise their partner more often? LIN! That guy loves surprises and making people happy so I can almost guarantee that he’s always thinking of a way to surprise Soup.  

who leaves dirty laundry on the floor? OK it’s both of them. You might not think it but at the end of the day, Tetsu will just dump all his clothes on the floor and flop on the bed. He picks it up in the morning that dirty laundry will be on the floor. Lin is probably worse for it though as he tends to leave it there for longer.

who stays up til 2 AM reading? Tetsu most definitely. Lin will probably try and stay awake until Soup goes to bed but can’t quite make it but if Tetsu is really into a book he’s staying up until 2.

who sings in the shower? It’s Lin because Soup can’t and won’t sing. If you ever go round their house whilst Lin is in the shower, you will get beautiful renditions of everything. Soup, on the other hand, will perhaps just hum along.

who takes the selfies? Again both of them? Lin does it more often though but Soup does enjoy taking selfies so that he can add stuff to photo albums. 

Who plans date night? Tetsu plans date night but he knows that sometimes you don’t stick to plans? Like if Lin suddenly wants to do something, Tetsu would be willing to cancel their plans because they can always do it another time!

ORC PHYSIQUE:

There are many different Orcs around the world and that means that there is a lot of variation. However, there are some common attributes which include: muscle mass, height, ear shape, tusks and skin pigmentation!

PERSONALS DO NOT REBLOG

Whilst the shape of orcs bodies change from Orc to Orc, something that is common amongst them is their natural strength; Orcs do not need to be particularly physically active to gain / retain muscle mass. Depending on the build of the individual, muscle will be presented in different ways. For some, the muscle is buried under fat (like Endomorph body types), others the muscle is way more pronounced. It is very rare to find an Orc with very little to no muscle. For Half Orcs, the gaining of muscle is still easier but, they must stay in good physical condition to retain the muscle mass.

Full blooded Orcs are gigantic, often ranging from 6′4′’ to 7′0′’. Those with less than half Orc blood do not tend to reach the same heights as their Orc companions (e.g. Tetsu is only 6′0′’) but, will still benefit from a height boost, regardless of their other non orc parent (soup mom was only 5′2′’). Even half orc half dwarves would still be generally taller than their dwarven counterparts. 

Anyone with even a hint of Orc blood is more likely to have both slightly pointed ears and slightly pronounced lower canines (lovingly called tusks). The ears of Orcs and half Orcs traditionally have pointed and elongated shells but, anyone with less than 1/3 orc blood are more likely to have slightly pointed shells, and only a few will have slightly elongated shells as well. In regards to pronounced lower canines, the more Orc blood you possess, the more prominent they are. 

1/3 of the tusk, like an elephants tusk, is hidden in their skull, where the blood, tissue and nerves are located. The rest of the visible tusk can be carefully filed and maintained. Just like elephant tusks, Orc tusks are continually growing, meaning that regular maintenance is needed. In more traditional clans the size of ones tusks can be equated to ones own strength. (EDIT: I forgot to mention that it is rare for Orcs to have more than one set of tusks but not impossible!)

Finally, the green / grey pigmentation of skin is also a common feature in Orcs. Like every other feature, the less Orc blood you possess, the less noticeable. The pigment of the skin is entirely dependent on the skin colour of both parents. The Orc pigment tends to be least noticeable if someone has 1/5 Orc blood or less.

        he himself had to stifle down a chuckle at the rather blunt description of abilities. jealous. that wasn’t one that he’d heard before. honestly speaking, been expecting a different reaction– but the one the other had provided him with was just as good ( at the very least, good enough to earn a smile from him ).

Then again, Kazaht would most likely feel the exact same if someone ever made similar comments to him, though his reaction probably wouldn’t be as subtle. He imagined what it must be like to almost guarantee not being injured during a fight and, it looked pretty good.

“ I think I’d rather use more tools from a distance than... ” he paused for a second, trying to think of a comparison that could apply to himself without lying, but at the same time, not being completely truthful, “ fighting up close and personal.  ”

I was just thinking about slurping your drink and I realised that Tetsu can’t use glasses properly? Like his tusks would get in the way of him drinking straight from a glass so he’d have to use a straw! Beer bottles and bottles in general are ok because they fit between his tusks but almost any other liquid container (glass, mug, jar etc.) would never work. Poor guy can’t have hot drinks out in public because straws and hot drinks don’t mix. He’d have to use a spoon for hot drinks like you do with hot chocolate.
