Okay, I've seen peole talk about this issue before, and I figured that since it will affect me too, I should put my two cents in as well.

I am very strict on things like this. I run another writing blog for another fandom and I constantly have to deal with stuff like this. I've had blogs run by people as young as 13-14 interact with my NSFW posts. And it gets even worse because the other blog that I run is based entirely around yandere fiction, meaning that I cover many dark and disturbing topics not suitable for minors.

I swear, I've blocked damn near twice as many people as I have followers. Basically every day I have to go through all of the notifications I get to make sure that no one is breaking my rules.

I block ANYONE who is a minor or who doesn't have their age listed on their blog and interacts with my NSFW content. No exceptions. No forgiveness. Period.

If you can't even read the warning label I place in big bold letters at the start of all of my NSFW posts, then you do not deserve to read my stuff at all.

And this rule will apply on this and every other blog I run.

i have a question (two, actually):

how, in theory, could the chain ever find out about RbD reader? what would actually be the tipping point where the links put their heads together and are collectively like "yeah something's Fucked", and when (if ever) do they actually reach the correct conclusion? bonus points if they go through several running theories that get shot down for one reason or another because like. time travel by death isnt exactly intuitive

and, because i love angst (and your rules say you write it), on a scale from unnerved to gutted, how upset are the chain upon actually connecting the dots?

You guys really like the RbD!Reader stuff, huh? I have another request for it in my drafts, actually, and the original post received a lot of attention compared to my other stuff. At this point I think you want me to make it its own fic.

I think that the chain would slowly piece things together if they put all that they know together. That and RbD![Name] has a bit of a habit of muttering things out loud and saying weird out-of-context things, it's unintentional on their part, but the Links are pretty good at puzzles. Probably the easiest way would be if they found your journal where you keep track of the info you've gathered in the various loops and translate it into Hylian. The other option would be if the Fierce Deity leaked the information.

I've already said that Time is probably the closest to figuring it out, but like you said, the conditions for time travel are not exactly the first thing you think of. Once he does find out, he is always keeping an eye on you. He does not hesitate to remove you from the group so you can have a talk.

He is both proud of you and also disappointed. He is genuinely grateful for all the help you’ve been to everyone, but he’s upset because even after everything, you still have this stupid self-sacrificial habit. He understands why, but he does not like it. Have you really not learned that you can lean on other people, that you don’t have to do everything yourself, that you shouldn’t just throw your life away (literally) because it’s “convenient” and “something only you can do”? Of all of them, he’s the easiest to talk to about this because he himself has experience with time loops.

I think it goes without saying that Wars has some VERY strong opinions on Satella (assuming that she's the one in control of RbD). Not only because she's the one making you suffer endlessly, but because the Witch of Envy is... Well, the way that she is when it comes to you and it's triggering his PTSD from Cia. If the whole “love yourself more” moment has happened, he is just slightly less hostile towards her (going from "it's on sight" to a more chill “stay away from [Name] or die trying” attitude), but he does not like or understand her.

From now on he swears to keep a closer eye on you. Should you show signs that you’ve come back from a doomed future, he wants you to come clean about it so that he knows what he’s dealing with and make a plan to counter this horrible future event.

Legend feels sick to his stomach as he contemplates everything you’ve been through. Especially so when he looks back on those first loops, the ones where he wasn’t exactly the nicest towards you. Yes, yes, it’s all in the past and you’ve forgiven him for it, but hindsight is a bitch.

He can't decide whether it was a good thing or not that your secret came out. On the one hand, now you have a much easier time talking about what’s bothering you and you don’t have to keep bottling everything up, but on the other hand, this whole thing feels like forbidden knowledge in every sense. The fact that you were prevented from telling anyone the truth or suffer the consequences for doing so is bad enough, but now that the truth is out, he can only assume that something is going to happen.

Hyrule feels like a failure. All those loops he failed in, causing you to suffer. You might tell him that he can’t blame himself for things that technically didn’t happen (RbD does not work on multiverse theory btw, more like when you go back to a previous save in a video game, so any bad future is erased), but he still feels responsible because you still remember those things and they clearly still affect you.

Kinda goes full paranoia for a while, constantly on edge, barely sleeping, even the tiniest scratch on you is healed right away. To be fair, his own experiences from his adventures are influencing this, but that does not make it okay or better for you.

Sky feels like he can't look at you the same way he did before. He knows that fate can be cruel, but this is something else entirely. Would personally fistfight Satella to get rid of the curse, if given the chance. I mean, all of the Links would, but it becomes Sky’s personal mission to help you return to normal.

Until that day comes, and it will - he’ll make sure of it - Sky will try to become a safe space for you. He doesn’t care if you start to vent at him, or tell him to leave you alone for a bit, even if you accidentally punch him in the face when you have a panic attack. He’ll be there when you need him, no matter the time.

That Protective Older Brother instinct is hitting Twilight like a freight train. The guilt practically eats him alive when he finds out that you killed yourself just to try to save him from that near-fatal injury.

He tells you straight to not rely on RbD. He doesn’t want you to just needlessly sacrifice yourself over and over for the sake of others. Have more faith in others, in them. If you need help, just ask, they’ll all be there for you. And if some things can’t be changed, they’ll deal with it or find another way to fix it.

You are suddenly much more relatable to Wild. That’s not to say that he didn’t feel so before, it’s just that now he realises that you two have a lot more in common than he thought. If you want to read more on that I’ve already written a bit about it here.

That being said, don’t be surprised when he’s suddenly a lot more cautious with and protective of you. Whereas before he was almost reckless when you suggested something, he’s now worried about things being ‘too dangerous.’ “Don’t launch yourself off a shield with a bomb, you’ll get hurt,” “don’t go shield surfing off that steep hill, you’ll sprain an ankle, try this small one instead,” etc. Finally, he and Legend are on the same page on something.

It’s not that he doesn’t think you can do it, his own trauma from his own failures and the memories from the people he’s lost (and possibly his old habits from his “knightly duties”) are causing him to be a bit overprotective. He will dial it down when you point out how he’s been acting, but old habits die hard and he does genuinely want you to stay safe. He can’t lose you, even if he knows it won’t be forever and he won’t even know if it does happen.

If I wanted to be extra angsty I could point out that it was Wild who said that they can’t lose anyone in the group and that might have caused you to spiral just a little bit.

Four’s emotions and thoughts are a mess for quite some time after finding out. Definitely needs to split more than once to make sense of everything he’s feeling. What does this mean for the future? Is there something that he can do to prevent a disaster that he knows nothing about? How many times has he failed without even knowing it? Is this how you feel every day? How have you not gone insane yet?

He starts to distance himself for a bit, but it’s not intentional. He really is trying to find a way to help you, it’s just that his method might cause him to come off as standoffish and cold. You’ll have to give him a talk about it and reassure him. It’s embarrassing because he feels like your roles should be reversed.

Wind is the one who pushes you to speak about your experiences the most, as a form of therapy. At first the others try to get him to stop asking you to talk about those clearly traumatising memories, so he starts asking about the small mundane moments a little more often. Things like what jokes you heard or if you met up with a familiar face.

To be honest, a lot of the time you feel like the others pity you more often, so to hear that you’ve become even more cool in Wind’s eyes is a welcome comfort. And he honestly thinks that you’re the coolest. Of course he doesn’t want you to go through those awful things, but seeing you change from that cowardly, awkward loser to a strong and determined - dare he say - fully fledged hero is something that inspires him.

And that goes for all of them. They all agree that you are much stronger than they are because if they - or literally anyone else - were in your shoes, they would have gone insane. There’s a silent understanding among the group that from now on they’ll work even harder to complete this journey. They’ll fight with more drive to make sure that things don’t go wrong and you won’t end up relying on your ability.

Above all else, they respect and appreciate your determination to keep going the most. Nobody would blame you if you felt like giving up, but you’re still out there on the front lines. You’ve stared death in the face so many times, but you still don’t want to give up. And if you’re still getting back up on your feet then they can keep going, too.

You’re an amazing person and they know you’ll only continue to get even more amazing. It wouldn’t surprise them if you went down in history as the most accomplished person ever.

Tell them, do you secretly have the Hero’s Spirit like them, too? If not, you certainly would have fooled them.

Happy Pride month, everyone! Let's start this month off with some gay shit.

Gotta be honest, a group of badass warrior women working together is one of my favourite tropes fr. And add in lesbianism? Take my money. My bi ass would fall for them twice over.

I don't know how your girlfail ass managed to pull 8 heroines into a poly relationship (and one little sister figure), but great job, now you have 8 girlfriends who are absolute simps for you. I mean, even the regular male Links are simps, so I don't doubt that genderbent versions of them would be any different.

I like to headcanon that unlike our world, Hyrule is very LGBTQ+ friendly (a girl can dream) and same sex relationships are common. Maybe you were a little scared to come out to the Chain because you've had some bad experiences, but eventually the truth would come out. Probably because one of the Links confessed her feelings to you.

Then comes the long conversation where you explain why you would even feel the need to hide your sexuality. But it still feels nice to get this off of your chest and be surrounded by people who understand and accept you. It certainly makes things like bathing and other forms of PDA a lot less awkward for you.

Y'all... Winx fans, it's over. They're using generative AI to make it.

I was already iffy on this reboot since it was announced (especially considering their previous attempts at breathing new life into Winx), but I tried to give it a chance. Watching this whole reboot news was an emotional rollercoaster. I was constantly flip-flopping between "oh god this is going to be awful" and "maybe I'm overreacting, it could still be decent." However, this most recent news is the final nail in the coffin.

Ever since the 'final' designs were shown people have been suspecting that the creators were using AI to make the designs. I did not want to believe the rumours, but I had to admit that they did make sense.

Now it has come out that the official accounts are posting job applications for progammers to create AI prompts. Yes, for real. And supposedly they're also using ChatGPT to write the scripts, not ust the character designs. So Straffi straight up lied when he was asked if generative AI was being used in the creation of the reboot.

I have decided that I will not be watching the reboot. I will not be giving it any money or attention, and will be boycotting it in general (unless I decide to tear into it).

It is so sad to see this all unfold. Not just because this IP is near and dear to my heart, but also because Winx used to hire actual fashion desgners to help create looks for the old seasons. Winx used to be all about supporting and celebrating art and artists.

I wanted to like this reboot. I really did. I wanted it to be good because I never want anything to be bad. More good media is always good. However I simply cannot condone Rainbow's actions on any level.

It is unfortunate that this reboot will be yet another piece of Winx that has been been failed by absolute dogshit corpetate decisions and Rainbow's inability to realise what their audience wants.
