STUDIO INVESTIGRAVE PERFUME HCS

made by a creature weirdly obsessed with perfume, not a professional perfumer

Protag

He doesn`t really care about perfumes, he only has a couple - for everyday wear and for formal occasions.

For everyday he uses Classic Hatric cologne. Very cheap, not long-lasting at all (15 mins if you get lucky) but still very nice with citrus and aromatic notes - nothing special but cute.

With formal wear he has a very wintery fragrance - Epicea by Creed. Its aromatic, woody, and just a little citrusy. The pine finish gives a really nice, cool feeling, and it is generally a nice simple perfume. Sometimes it is considered to be overpriced but considering Protag wears it once a year, its not that bad.

Coworker

This is the most obnoxious man you have ever met. And I feel so, SO sorry for Protag because all he could smell for the rest of the week was Gentleman (1974) by Givenchy.

Its probably the only fragrance he has too. He is not a big fan and doesnt really see the difference between many but still buys expensive perfume for brand`s sake. And frankly, its not the worst choice - Gentleman smells very mature and masculine and high-class but ALSO it is SO annoying. Givenchy is indeed a good brand and their fragrances last very long, and sometimes it is not a good thing. So strong and heavy, Gentleman is the worst thing for everyday wear, yet here he is. It also smells like every other male perfume out here.

Normal guy

Normal guy himself has a very distinct smell - something like dust, glue, and petrichor combined. Which is, obviously, a very weird and overwhelming smell that makes everyone dizzy and makes the chance of falling down even higher. Not that it would bother anyone really - but when it happens for the Nth time in a week, concerns are raised.

So the next logical decision is to check your thyroid. If it`s ok or absent completely, get a perfume. And a perfume he gets, and it is amazing. Eau sauvage by Dior is THE fragrance everyone wants. It`s citrusy and fresh at the top and becomes aromatic at the finish, creating a fantastic spicy mix. For some reason, it still smells like dry paint on the 9th floor though.

Rody

It`s not like Rody has any money to buy perfume at all. But when he does, we all know what he buys - a lemon scented perfume Monsieur Balmain. And he, in fact, loves it! Because Balmain is a great combination of fresh, warm and aromatic. It doesn`t smell like other citrusy fragrances, even though it has lemon and bergamot as top notes, it opens up more and more with time, revealing a spicier and musky side.

Rody most likely overdid it at first but after a few complaints from the customers stopped applying it everywhere he could.

Vincent

You know, when you cant taste anything, you have to compensate somehow. And the best compensation in this case is having so many fragrances around that you will never miss the taste of food again.

That`s why his room is filled with expensive gourmand mono fragrances that he likes to try once in a while.

As for his daily wear, it is definitely Habit Rouge Eau by Cologne Guerlain. It is also citrusy on top but much more spicy and woody than Rodys one, thanks to Palisander rosewood note. Its classy, hot, cozy and calm. Pretty heavy but, if used correctly, perfect for both day and night. The citrus on top may feel a bit unpleasant at first but later it opens up as more comforting with sweet notes of flowers and spicy of cinnamon and sandalwood, before hitting you in the best way with masculine and hot amber, leather and vanilla.

Manon

Manon is not obsessed with perfumes but definitely has a few in her collection - some of them were gifted by Rody too.

One of those is Most Precious by Evyan. Initially chosen for its name, it turned out to be a simple yet gorgeous fragrance of white and yellow florals. It smells so sweet and innocent, so delicate and romantic, just perfect. It immediately makes you think of warm spring days when the flowers start to bloom. She never uses it but only because she loves it so much.

What she has used though - and used a lot - is Coup De Fouet by Caron. It`s also floral and sweet with rose notes on top but it also has teeth that look like pepper, moss and citruses. Another important note here is carnation. If used incorrectly, it will smell like funeral parlour, but if surrounded by lovely notes like here it opens up as a hot, rich and spicy fragrance that only highlights the sweetness of the rose. Simply divine.

Winnie

Winnie doesn`t usually buy perfumes specifically. He usually smells fresh and a little fruity like his shampoo.

Sometimes he goes to the store to just try out every single perfume they have until he gets dizzy. And in those moments he lets himself get manipulated by shopping assistants into buying something. And the last one he got turned out to be actually good!

Nectarine blossom&honey by Jo Malone London works the best as his signature fragrance. It`s linear but so familiar, fruity and playful. It smells just like sweet peach with some aromatic notes on top. It is fresh and light and reminds you of summer.

To some it may smell like shampoo but it`s certainly a very attractive fragrance nevertheless.

Augustine

Augustine is not big on fragrances either. He only has one perfume and uses it whenever he doesn`t forget it exists.

The perfume in question is Guess Men. He found it while buying shampoo and got it to feel fancy. Its not the most expensive perfume in the world but pretty long-lasting and the smell itself isnt too bad. Not suitable at all for summer - it`s very warm and spicy so on a hot day it will just be too heavy.

But for winter its perfect. On a cold snowy day it opens up as whiskey with spices, and cedar and pine notes only add more to the wintery ambience of the fragrance. It smells warm, calm, reliable and brave.

Forcas

Do angels use perfume? Is it allowed? Can they physically apply it? These are the questions you have to ask yourself.

Forcas, intentionally or not, smells like Angel`s share by Kilian. A strong cognac note later turns into sweet and warm of tonka beans, vanilla and praline. Its not very strong itself but the way he appears before you unexpectedly makes it so much more prominent than it actually is.

However that fragrances also gets mixed up with the smell of feathers, creating a very weird mix. Probably the closest thing we can have to that is Snowy owl by Zoologist but it has been discontinued so we will never get to smell Forcas`s wings. Sigh.

Angelica

I feel like it would be prohibited for her to use perfume. But if she did, she would be a fan of flowery clean smells like Eau de Jane. It has a cute citrusy start and the middle is pleasantly soapy and clean due to lots of flowery notes. The base is woody, warm and aromatic, making it not as young and playful as you would expect, but still very light and great for every time and season.

Protag as Patterdale terrier

Patterdales are small and cute and may not seem threatening but MAN are they snarky little shits. They were bred for hunting. They can and will stab you with scissors if they decide youre acting weird, and its your problem if you didn`t think they had it in them.

Patterdales don`t usually get along with other animals or humans, unless they grew up with them, but if you treat them with respect and give just enough attention you will eventually become their best friend! What more can you ask for :)

Coworker as West-Highland-White-Terrier

Just like patties, westies were originally bred to be hunters. Well, about that- now theyre here mostly to be pretty and ask for food. Theyre very sociable and love company and cant stand being alone. If you leave him for a few hours to work? It`s ok! But if he has to wait 10 minutes more than usual, expect an opera performance when you get back. He WILL let you know how much he missed you, how hungry he is, how bored he was, what he did while you were gone etc. etc. by absolutely screaming his lungs out.

Westies are also pretty dominant by nature and youll have to work to show him it`s actually your house he lives in, not the other way around.

Also no-one ever remembers the name of the breed.

Normal guy as Greyhound

The name has nothing to do with it. Almost.

Greyhounds are very chill. They`re calm and smart and very quiet. But like, almost menacingly. He will just lay there on your couch and side-eye you, and you KNOW he ate your shoe.

Greyhounds are very VERY fast and they have incredible eyes. So he will hunt you down. You can`t hide.

Rody as Husky

Everyone is huskys friend! Theyre chill with everyone, very open, love the attention and get excited about everything. Theyre genetically very athletic and strong and love exercising. However, theyre also very stubborn and probably wont listen to your commands (like, you know, when you tell them to call you chef and not vince). They`re great for big families and get along with kids well.

They will also make you listen to their silly little songs. Please enjoy.

Vincent as Beauceron

Its very easy to be hated by him. Beauces have very high standards for their companions, and you have a very high chance of getting your ear bitten if youre not good enough. Theyre very dominant, and it takes so much time and energy to get along, but once you do, this is your best friend and guardian who will never let anyone mistreat you. Theyre very smart and vary cautious of people they don`t know. They also have a weird tendency of showing love by nipping and biting.

Even though they may seem so tough and serious, their unique feature is staying in their puppy age until they`re 3-4 years old.

Manon as Épagneul breton

Bretons are great both as hunters and companions. Theyre great for families with kids and get along well with other dogs. Very smart, don`t make too much noise and easy to train.

However they`re also very sensitive and can`t stand being mistreated. If you shout a lot, act irresponsibly and don`t make them feel comfortable, theyre not going to respect you either.

Winnie as White Swiss Shepherd

Swiss shepherds are so friendly its almost hard to believe they are actual shepherds. They get along so well with both animals and humans, and just a bit more cautious with strangers. They love being active and playing and singing and hardly ever act seriously. They need a lot of attention and often show it by singing. Loudly. But theyre still cute!

If you make them mad though you will realise they arent that different from german shepherds. Also, run.

Augustine as East Siberian Laika

ESLs are literally so loyal and brave. That boy will never leave you in danger no matter what. Yeah, he may look kinda scary and tough, and he isnt very good with other animals, but he loves fooling around and having fun too! If you cross his boundaries he will let you know what he thinks of it but he would never bite. In fact, he may even allow you to do a bit too much for his liking, but you are his best friend, what can he do. But it`s only you who can do it - strangers and randos will be met with his teeth if they try anything too fishy.

Forcas as Central Asian Shepherd

CASs are very independent and calm and a bit arrogant. They dont trust strangers easily but are absolute sweethearts once they trust you enough. Great guardians and companions, they arent aggressive with others unless they provocate them. Even then, they will bark and snap before actually harming anyone.

Angelica as Pomeranian

Boy, does that little creature got teeth. Actually, they tend to be polite with strangers and very loving with their person. They follow the rules and would never do anything you tell them not to. Well, generally. Sometimes they like to be little shits and spice things up by barking, biting, playing and not listening to anything you say. All you need to do is spend lots of time and energy to show your dominance, then they may listen if the stars align.

I'm not a professional perfumer, just a perfume enthusiast! Everything is based purely on vibes ♡

Envy Adams

You know that feeling when you walk into a room and you just KNOW a rich woman was there? That's exactly how she is. She knows she's hot, she knows she's loved and she's not afraid of being too much.

She uses heavy expensive evening perfumes even at daytime, because she doesn't care. It's your problem if you get dizzy because of it.

She only buys brand, no cheap shit in her collection. It's usually very popular and frankly overused perfumes though.

I can really see her using Tom Ford and Trussardi, Mango Skin being her favorite of them all.

Lynette Guycott

Look at her. She is spice, she is fresh, she is bright and she is alcohol and woody notes. She is not afraid of everyone looking at her as soon as she walks in.

Unlike Envy, she isn't that into mainstream perfumes but she still buys expensive brands that are pretty popular. Because when you smell like Apple brandy on the rocks by Killian everyone knows you will take no shit from anyone.

Knives Chau

There's only so much you can wear when you're a kid. And when you want to appear more mature, but don't have any money to buy niche nor don't really know what's actually good, you buy Moschino.

I just know she has I love love, Bubble gum and Pink fresh couture. And can you blame her? It's sweet, it's nice, it's lively and fresh and very light, and that's exactly what a teenage girl like her needs. Maybe she got Olympea by P. Rabanne for her birthday once but it turned out to be too woody and adult, and she didn't vibe with it at all. She would buy L'imperatrice by D&G if she had enough money, not because it's so popular but because she likes how it smells like watermelon gum.

Aside from Cheap&Chick she has some sweet and fruity perfumes from Adopt and body mists that resemble brand fragrances.

Lisa Miller

Lisa is the Queen of powdery fragrances. Flowery, sweet, gentle, light and playful - just like her. She doesn't really care about brands and wouldn't mind buying a dupe, but also won't skimp on expensive stuff if she really likes it.

You probably won't notice her fragrance at first, but there will be a trail when she leaves that will make you wonder what perfume she uses for the rest of the day.

Her favourite notes are vanilla, coconut and rose.

She absolutely has Parisienne by YSL in her collection. Sour-ish berries that change into sweet flowers and finally leave a sexy musky and woody trail is exactly how she is presented in comic. At first we don't know what to expect from her and she may seem just a bit annoying and clingy (not to me tho y'all stay safe), then we see she's actually very sweet and cute, and later we see her hot side (I'm still not over maybe we should send help).

She would also like Orange vanilla by Marcus Spurway, which has somewhat similar notes to Parisienne, only a bit sweeter.

Kim Pine

She may not look like it but she likes using fragrances once in a while. Is she fan? Not really. Does she think it's essential? Not at all. But it's kinda fun and wearing a little perfume for a night out wouldn't hurt.

She only has one or two fragrances at most but they're pretty good. She's into vibrant unisex perfumes with berry notes. Spicy and aromatic fragrances really make her stand out and she doesn't really mind.

Not saying it's the one she uses, but she really makes me think of Luna Rossa Extreme by Prada. Starting with spicy notes of pepper and bergamot, she opens up more and more to show a sweeter side of herself with fragrance of berries, lavender and vanilla, while not losing her rebellious self with the smell of amber.

She herself would probably use Cherry Punk by Room 1015 or something alike. It's a pretty complex fragrance but a really good one. And I think she really likes to smell like cherry in general.

Stacey Pilgrim

This one is going to be self-indulgent but bear with me. At first she liked mainstream stuff and probably still has her Good girl by Carolina Herrera and Nina Ricci. Then she started getting into more niche fragrances and It Was Over.

Stacey is a sweet gossipy girl and she wants to smell exactly the way she is. Her absolute favorites are gourmand fragrances and she gets told constantly she smells like cake.

She doesn't buy many expensive brands, she only has one signature scent and then some going-out fragrances. The signature scent in question is White Chocolat by Richard. It's a sweet, light scent that will catch anyone's attention. It's girly but not basic and actually very unusual for a chocolate perfume. She wears it every day and maybe sometimes overuses it but it smells tasty so it's not that bad.

There is some Victoria's secret in her collection too.

Roxie Richter

Just like Kim, she's not a perfume girlie and uses it even less often than Kim, if at all.

She would never spend money on it, she literally doesn't care what she smells like, but if her gf offered some of hers to try, she wouldn't mind.

But if she had to choose one, she would like something woody, spicy, and dangerous. Like Venom Incarnat by Stephanie Humbert Lucas 777. Both sweet and spicy, with berries on top and leather at the bottom, it's a perfect weird mix that lets you know that you'd better not mess with her.

Other fragrances she would like are C'est rebelle, Sugar leather and Scorpio rising.

Hollie Hawkes

Hollie is weird and she knows it. She doesn't like wearing perfume but she absolutely loves to collect it and then only occasionally try them. And the weirder the smell the better.

She hunts Demeter Fragrance Library bottles and owns almost every single one, thunderstorm and petrichor being her favorite.

She basically wants any obscure perfume. Yes, Secretions Magnifiques too.

But she herself usually smells flowery like her shower gel.

Julie Powers

Spend money? On perfume? Are you kudding?

I mean, she would if she had to. Thankfully, Julie knows every single person in Toronto, including weird (affectionately) crafty girls who also happen to be small business owners and in severe need of coffee every morning.

That is exactly why every fragrance Julie ownes is: 1) really cool 2) really niche 3) traded for free syrup. She really ownes lots of completely different fragrances, from flowery and grassy dry perfumes to dark leathery oil-based ones. She wears them all once in a while but usually she smells gourmand, cinnamony and sweet.

Her favorite one must be the pumpkin spice fragrance - a very obvious but nevertheless amazing mix of pumpkin, caramel, cinnamon, ginger and coffee.

Honorable mentions from her collection are lime and leather, salted caramel and hot choco.

Ramona Flowers

Ramona changes her fragrance as often as her hair, so she usually just buys 5ml bottles instead of full-size ones and then keeps them in a box.

Even though she really likes trying different ones, she hates heavy and woody fragrances. Sweet ones are ok, but her ultimate favorite ones are fresh.

Fresh can be different: sweet like Wind flowers by Creed, green and citrusy like Adéle by MarieJeanne or aquatic like Dune by Dior.

While wearing pink hair she used floral and a little spicy Frescor Ishpink by Natural Brasil.

With blue hair she wears flowery and musky L'eau De toilette by Carven, a mix of lemon and flowers.

Blonde phase smells like tropical and gourmand Bare Vanilla Splash by Victoria's secret.

Green hair is citrusy Melodia by Mercadona.

Red is minty The Wild by Wylde Moon
