I will definitely watch BOMB. And I'm surprised at how the new cast is behaving in relation to the Outlander cast. None of them seem desperate to be linked to the most famous cast. This in the Outlander world is a rarity. We have examples of actors who had one or two lines in just ONE season, but who to this day try to ride on the fame of Sam, Cait and the show. And Starz is releasing a lot less BOMB material than it did with Outlander in the beginning. Before Outlander actually aired, we had videos, interviews, photos of the cast, the cast interacting with fans on social media, the cast going to events. From the filming of the second season onwards, everything became something of a big secret.

The characters are not mine and the author doesn't care much about what they will do with them. The irony in all this is that she has said a thousand times she doesn't like fanfics, because she thinks it's like stealing someone's characters. Even so, she agreed and will support BOMB. It's interesting to see things like this happen because it opens up a perspective on what moves this world of entertainment and how words can't always be taken for granted.

So, the New Batch is being let out into the light. We see them - like a poor man's copy - celebrating with cake at the Table Read - familiar ground. The character and actor share a birthday. Photo opportunity achieved. Next.

SM is beginning to up the profile of the cast and they are beginning to talk about the new Outlander, sorry, BOMB. Ms Balfe opines that we will soon forget her as the presequel is launched upon the vulnerable fans.

How long will BOMB last? We all know how it ends for ALL the characters. Will they start with the characters at a pre-pre sequel, age 5 so a Series 2 can be achieved?

I don’t know - I’m uncomfortable about the new lookalike batch. They are following an iconic show and, unlike Mr Heughan, I just can't with this show. Not yet.

I’ll probably be eating my words when it becomes a huge phenomenon and I’m feeling the story and characters. Only I won’t. Because I’m still having a temper tantrum and stamping my feet and screaming until I’m sick. I won't watch it, I won't watch it, I won't!!!

But, I probably will. At least the first episode. It’s not the actor's fault. I’m sure they are delighted to have this opportunity. They know how iconic OL is. How big Sam and Caitriona have become. How many doors this may open? So, my mean girl state of mind, my cutting off my nose to spite my face - it must stop!

I’m just not there yet!

Dear Whisky Tasting Anon.

This blog you sent me is wrong in so many ways that I'll start with a very simple one: the friendship bracelets were not a gift from Sam. They were given by a very kind fan who wanted to do this kindness by giving other fans something that they would take as a souvenir of that moment. So, see how well informed "this person" is.

About European laws and drinks: do you really think that LandCon, Sony, Sassenach are companies without a legal department? The "blogger" in question thinks searching the Internet makes him a law expert, but he forgets that Sam, Sony, LandCon, and Co. have people working for them in this area who are in fact lawyers, people who went to universities to study the laws, who have professional experience and not simply someone who throws two or three words into the Google search bar. BTW I live in a European country addicted to bureaucracy and imagine you..... Whisky Tastings are held here with products sold only in foreign countries. That is exactly what makes these events interesting because these are the whisky that we don't find here easily.

One other thing: be wary of anyone who is bothered by how other people spend their money, because this is clearly a big sign of an envious soul. I didn't buy a ticket for the whisky tasting because I don't drink whisky. But I applaud all the fans (adult women) who participated in this moment, and I tell you one thing: I focused on buying everything Tobias was going to participate in. And if he was going to do a "Tap Water Tasting," I would pay as much as they demanded, just to be able to stay closer to him for a few minutes and drink tap water.
