Just gonna leave this here. One of the best defenders on the floor. Offense sells tickets and obviously would love that but defense wins games people. We got to get this image out of our heads that all Azzi is good for is shooting because she ain’t a one dimensional player like pls.

Imma say it... Azzi is actually the most talented player on that list. Her team doesn't pass to her when she's wide open and she's missed years due to injury, but not a one of them can shoot like her or has an iq as high as hers. She just doesn't have the ball in her hands enough for simple minded people to understand that. There it is.

I mean, I really hope you’re right and that we really do get to see more of her becoming that shooter like she is during the hardest part of their schedule I’m excited to see what Sarah’s gonna do cause. I know she’s gonna go off and also p. And as much as I love their chemistry. I can also admit that just maybe they don’t have their chemistry all set right at the moment is because azzi has gotten the least amount of playtime with the team during the summer practice due to not being cleared fully so that could be why there’s a chemistry issue. And it’s still building you know there are moments where you see them all clicking. But like that guy said I think his name is Conrad on Twitter she isn’t shown or seen to be their number one she’s kind of just like an afterthought to an extent at this point. By at the same time, it’s the big east so you can’t really form big assumptions. I’m just curious to know how azzi would fit into everything with her being able to kind of go off if that makes sense. Cause I’m sorry you’re shooting guard should not be open that amount of times. Cause yes well I can admit that Sarah and P know how to get their own for the most part, they don’t really need plays set for them in order for them to score. I get that they’re really good scorers. And azzi should be able to do that too and yes, she can do that. There’s just no reason why half ur plays shouldn’t be for your shooting guard. The best shooter on the team. It’s just odd to think about. I guess I’m very confused very confused. We already know at this point that as great as Sarah and PR are, they are just simply not gonna be able to do with just them two they can it’s just gonna be a lot harder, so yes, having a third threat like azzi makes her that beneficial she’s that X Factor. And we already know how it should go get her hot right away set the offense around her and then work around it get her going right away, but it seems like we went away from that. Geno talking about how he wants her to consistently do this consistently do that she’s been showing she could do that but then the plays end up being for other people. 🤷🏽‍♀️lol

Sometimes it annoys me when people are like she’s not being aggressive which I agree sometimes she does passes up shoots or iso moments. But sometimes she quite literally doesn’t touch the ball and I’m like ummm how is she not being aggressive

Agree completely with anon! I don't agree with you about Azzi working so hard on defense that she's tired. It's like anon said, they simply do NOT get Azzi the ball enough. They have the best shooter in ncaa and they ignore her standing wide open so very much. Much more often than not. I've been disgusted by this all season. Chen and kk absolutely do not hit open shooters. They happen to be 2 of the worst pgs in wbb as far as seeing the floor. It's really unbelievable. I know I may sound mean, and I'm sure maybe they both play defense well, but if you don't have the common sense or court awareness to pass to THE Azzi Fudd when she'sstanding wide open and only needs a millisecondto get her shot off, how are you a pg? The one game Paige made a point to find Azzi was against South Carolina and she shot like 6-8 3s for 28 point (something like that) Paige doesn't even look for Azzi the way you would think she would. It's weird and just bad basketball. Also, poor Azzi. Her one year to finally play and they barely get her touches? Damn.

Lol yeah I'm currently very confused on the offense right now. It's almost as if we don't have one of the best shooters in college ball (azzi). Or if not the best shooter in women's basketball like the announcer said during yesterday's game lol. I remember Geno saying recently during one of his post game interview interviews how he wants PSA to all get going. I don't really see that happening unless p is running point.I'm sorry for right now until it changes as there were a couple games where I was impressed with KK. My unimpressed moments are going to succumb that. I don't mean to come across as harsh, but she's very predictable with her moves and is coming across as selfish when she's just shooting the ball. It's OK not to have an offensive bag and sure there might be moments where shit kk start shooting 3's. But at the same time kk should not be shooting if azzi or ash are on the floor. Just facilitate. With Chen she's obviously much better off ball but low-key and I say this so low key I almost feel as of maybe deep down. She wasn't the best choice for UConn. But that's not to say that she was the worst choice either. She has a deep bag and has really good leadership skills. She's W talent but inconsistency is just a problem. But that's so common so not too much I guess. Ash isn't a slump low-key wish she got out of it last game probably would've given her a little bit of a confidence boost.Imma give it to azzi tho. Of course I'll always be impressed by p and Sarah. They gonna do what they best at. But I can't help but to be very proud of azzi.Her defense really moved me this entire tournament can't wait to see more of it. A VERY underrated part to her game. I wish it could show up on a scoreboard cuz wow. My only concern is as much as she is contributing defensively. I get that Paige out of position is still better than anyone else out of position esp last yr with our limited active roster but the value she brings in initiating the plays and making quick good decisions and setting her teammates up for good looks outweighs that imo
