Isn’t it beautiful? Passifloira amethystina II is a selection of the normal P. amethystina native to southern America.
It’s flowers are relatively small compared to others but something special for sure.

One of the most beautiful Passionflowers, without doubt, is Passiflora x decaisneana. A hybrid of P. alata x P. quadrangularis.
It’s giant, fragrant flowers are mezmerizing. If you aren’t living in tropical areas, you should keep it in a huge greenhouse.
It’s fruits are yellowish-orange and super delicious, though you have to cross pollinate it with another Passionflower to get fruits.

The beautiful, pure white Passiflora ‘Snow Queen’ by British breeder Myles Stewart Irvine.
It’s an incredible hybrid, rapidly growing, rich blooming and hardy down to -10°C. Placed in a sunny spot, you’ll enjoy dozens if not hundreds of flowers in the first year.

Passiflora ‘Dani’. My own hybrid, bred 12 years ago. It’s parents are P. ‘Amethyst’ x P. caerulea. It’s always the first one to bloom in spring, it’s rapidly growing and produces hundreds of flowers a year.
Even though there are countless hybrids with the same parents, I’m proud of it.

Passiflora caerulea ‘Chinensis’. One of the few frost-tolerant Passionflowers. Not as common as it’s closest relative, Passiflora caerulea but it has slightly larger flowers and different colors. In my opinion the “Chinensis” is even more beautiful.
