Love this list! So many great podcasts!

Just wanted to clarify that Evelyn in The Pasithea Powder isn't canonically trans. (We talk about this in the Season 3 Q&A, and how little writing choices/mistakes on our part definitely led to this misperception.) However, if that's anyone's headcanon, that's great! We just don't deserve credit for something we didn't do, and if that had been our intention, we definitely would have cast a trans voice actor.

Hello Dear Listeners: Crafting Truth and History in The Pasithea Powder

In 1944, the Office of Strategic Services, a precursor to the modern CIA, published a booklet called “Simple Sabotage Field Manual.” The booklet was designed to be passed out covertly to ordinary citizens in occupied territory during World War II, empowering everyday people to fight against fascism in all its forms. For some reason, this booklet is going a little bit viral lately, and given how much we love historical documents, we couldn’t resist a tiny foray into nonfiction.

i gotta say i really appreciate audio drama fans sticking to their guns and not falling into the obvious trap of using ai to generate their character headcanons. we, people who are fans of a purely audio based medium, should be easy pickings and yet we remain vigilant.
