Dear lord DEAR FUCKING LORD you are not being woke by supporting the islamic republic. stop trying to silence us. stop talking about islamphobia whenever middle easterners speak up about the oppression they're facing. stop FALLING FOR THE PROPAGANDA OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC. stop spreading lies about us being free. stop spreading lies about our problems just being propaganda made by the west. you do not have to support everything. you do not have to take a side. you guys are believing exactly what they're trying to make you believe. one second you talk about how evil the government is and the other second you're praising the government of another country? your only idea of the regime in iran is the product of the propaganda spread by that se regime and you believe in those instead of listening to the actual people. stop falling for propaganda. fuck israel and fuck the islamic republic.

When I say that transmasculine people, including, obviously, binary trans men, don't hold power over women, there's always ONE fucker who's like "oh yeah ? But what if it's a whit, able-bodied perisex transhet man who's papers are all changed, who cispasses and is totally stealth AND is a manager ??? What then ???"
And I'm like, you CAN'T be in good faith rn. I'm not saying this particular case doesn't exist but be for real, it must be one in a fucking million. And even in this case, the dude is one outing away from having all his privileges taken away from him, which isn't the case for cis white men.
Stop nitpicking. Transmasculine people don't hold power over women. Period. If you want a punching bag, aim at the people who are truly after your ass.

Daily reminder that :
-Validating a trans person's manhood only when you want to exclude them from certain communities is not being a trans ally.
-Validating a trans person's manhood only when you want to make them seen inherently predatory towards women is not being a trans ally.
-Validating a trans person's manhood only when you want to make comments such as ''eww...why would you want to be a man...?'' or ''k!ll all men, including trans men'' is not being a trans ally.
-Validating a trans person's manhood only when you want to talk about how they inherently have ''male privileges'' over women is not being a trans ally.
-Validating a trans person's manhood only when you want to exclude them from conversations about misogyny or reproductive rights is not being a trans ally.

Whenever someone brings up satanism every single person i see always responds with how "they worship themselves" "they/we dont actually believe in satan!!" and deny that its a religion and only talk about "atheistic satanism". why do yall try so hard to please christians? to ease their minds that you don't actually believe in satan so you could receive validation from them. it's obvious that these people still believe in the lies told about him while using his name. why do you think "worshipping satan" is bad but worshipping god is acceptable? if you lable yourself an atheist then why do you still believe in christian values and see satan as evil?

Western social justice activism is very flawed. Here’s an incomplete list of countries/peoples which are continually forgotten about. Some were briefly cared about years or months ago, while others have never had any significant attention. I encourage everyone to learn more when they have the time:
The Congo
Sudan
Armenia
Israeli hostages
Ukraine
Iran/Woman, Life, Freedom
Kurdish rights
Uyghur rights
Afghanistan
Tibet
Rohingya rights
Syria
Yemen
Native American rights/ residential school attrocities
Roma rights

If your feminism doesn't include Iranian and Afghan women, then you're not a feminist.
If your feminism doesn't include women suffering in highly patriarchial societies, then you're not a feminist.
If your feminism doesn't include honour killing victims, then you're not a feminist.
If your feminism doesn't include women suffering at the hands of a zealot religious ideology, then you're not a feminist.
If you support women who want to wear the hijab, but don't support women who don't want to wear it, then you're a morally corrupted person.

woman life freedom
i just wanted to share what has happened and has been happening in iran for those who dont know or have forgotten
iran is an islamic mysoginist country. women are forced to cover up and hide their hair. around 1 or 2 years ago there were heavy protests happening with the woman life freedom movement where people fought for their right to dress freely and not be forced to wear hijab. SOOO many people got killed and executed alongside with the goverment also punishing their family. they would kill teenagers and make it look like suicide by saying they had mental problems. also around recently there was a woman who took off her clothes as a form of protest in university when the staff told her to get changed since her uniform was "too short" (i know these will all sound normal and not serious to yall but when they complain to people about their clothes its for very ridiculous reasons). then she was thrown in a van and later on got told that "she had mental problems and was divorced and had episodes and blah blah blah". when the woman life freedom movements were happening a lot of american self proclaimed muslims sided with irans goverment and complained about how they cannot wear hijab and people here should be grateful and called us whores and everything about the protests "propaganda against islam"
but ofc outsiders will look at everything happening and then brush it off since its a third world country its normal if these kind of stuff happen here its only important when the so called freedom of speech is at risk in america other countries arent important they do not matter
(posted this on the punk sharing space community and it got removed for being "off topic")

Actually I'll never forgive Punk Rave and Killstar and fast fashion brands for tricking people into thinking that being goth or punk or emo is expensive. Babygirl the only goth brand names you need to know are Rit, Good Will, Etsy, and Studs and Spikes, we used to shove safety pins through our ears and then they started selling earrings that look like safety pins for 15.99. We used to dye thrifted wedding dresses black and they started selling gothic gowns for 300 bucks. We used to put studs on boots we found in the back of the good will and they started making Demonias. DIY or die wasn't perfect it can be exclusionary to disabled people but whatever the fuck we've got going on right now is so much worse. It's not any more inclusive to the disabled and it is exclusionary to the people who made punk, to the people who made goth, to the people who made emo. If you've got the funds and you don't want to do diy pay someone else to do it for you but please let it be a small artist or a friend not some guy in a suit who's made it his business to gentrify punk. You can turn flats into platforms with flipflops, hotglue and gumption don't let anyone tell you different.

I think people have as much freedom to hate fictional tropes/characters as much as they’re free to like them. What pisses me off is that a lot of you don’t understand who you’re fighting for, what for. You claim that it’s abuse survivors you’re fighting for, when in reality it’s fighting to censor shit that makes you personally uncomfortable while lecturing other abuse survivors what’s “unhealthy” and what’s “healthy” when you have no fucking idea and how those abuse survivors who don’t fit your picture of a terminally distressed survivor and not one who develops “weird” taste in fiction and kinks; should keep their “nasty” in the dark.
It’s also very dehumanizing how our entire existence is reduced to being “victims”; incapable of agency in our own lives amd we must be secretly putting ourselves in harm’s way if we don’t behave how you want us to do.
Well guess what bitch; I’m not hiding myself for your comfort. I’ve found community from being loud and clear, I’ve found people who actually understand me unlike you virtue signaling losers.
Not to mention how painting acceptable abuse survivors as pure, innocent, perfect humans who don’t develop any other responses to abuse other than fear contributes to rape culture and how the abuse of “bad victims” is treated.
Get your purity culture away from us.

The strangest paradox & irony of western culture, which is very easy to see in fandom culture; is the hyper individualism and self centeredness while demanding that all representation of a community should reflect your own personal lived experiences.
Western fandom culture can easily be simplified to a battleground of “comforts”; original characters, media characters; they’re not meant to be nor read as “characters” instead, they’re representatives.
The most frustrating part about interacting with westerners is how often they believe themselves to be the sole representative of all trans people, all queers, all abuse survivors, etc etc and they expect someone else’s art to represent THEIR experiences. You can see an obvious identity crisis emerging when westerners demand to limit artistic expression to water down our unique experiences into a boring blend of copy pasted art & original characters that are easy to digest and consume and no amount of sugarcoating and rationalization is gonna convince me this wave of protest to freedom of artistic expression in western fandoms doesn’t come from self centeredness and hyper individualism.
