I’m being so serious when I say Joe deservers better than Georgia and I get why everyone ships them and Georgia is my ride or die, I will defend all her murders to death, but Joe and Georgia are *not* in love. They are in love with the idea of each other.

Joe was so right to get mad at Georgia in whatever episode it was in season 2 idk i binged it all in one sitting to avoid facing life, because Georgia has been using him, and been taking him as someone to fall back on. She knows how he feels but she denies it for her own convenience.

I’ve also been thinking real hard about what exactly that flashback scene of Joe’s was meant to convey with the whole bullying thing and sure it could just be “oH hE CaN bE EdGY tOo” but I kinda get the idea that there’s something alluring to Joe about the idea of being wilder and stronger, which is something he saw in Georgia and essentially that is the part of her that he is in love with.

What I’m kinda personally hoping for is that Georgia does not become his arc, but a part of it, something to overcome and realise that if she’s not going to value him and give him the time of day, then why should he
