He smiles wryly. "If it weren't for the occasion, I'd assume that was sarcasm." The wryness makes way for a smirk. "That's one way of putting it. That one I picked up in Italy several months back. You're in for a rare treat."

He feigns a look of offense, looking up at him. "I'm never sarcastic when it comes to our love!" Italian wine, huh? Hes been staying away from alcohol for a while but it doesn't sound bad at all. "I'll go get us glasses, you get comfortable, honey," he grins with that- it's Valentine's day his words are allowed to be dripping with sweetness and there's nothing Edgeworth can do about it.

"What would I do without such a thoughtful boyfriend?" Probably die. From peanut allergies, none-the-less. The bottle of wine is his next interest as he observes it and turns it in his hands. "What's the story for this? Looks like it's lived with more refinement than my boxed wine."

Apropos of nothing, I seem to have acquired a large heart box of imported chocolates and a bottle of wine for you. Hmmmmmm. (Happy Valentine's Day, Phoenix).

"Oh! Well..."

He grins sheepishly and fetches something stashed away in a cupboard- a small basket with chocolate-dipped strawberries, heart-shaped cookies decorated steel-samurai style (both obviously home-made as possible), with a small cutesy looking box of tea for a center piece.

"I was waiting to give it to you tomorrow since I thought you'd get mad at the whole commercialism of today!"
